Abstract:

Materi biografi di SMA membutuhkan inovasi atau terobosan agar peserta didik tidak merasa jenuh. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bagaimana efektivitas Adobe Photoshop sebagai perangkat lunak terhadap pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA. Penelitian ini bersifat deskriptif kualitatif yang bersumber pada data berupa kualitas. Beberapa hasil dari penelitian ini berupa deskripsi kelebihan dan kekurangan Adobe Photoshop sebagai media pembelajaran dan kemungkinan-kemungkinan yang terjadi ketika penggunaan perangkat lunak Adobe Photoshop sebagai media pembelajaran mata pelajaran bahasa Indonesia materi biografi di SMA. Simpulan dari penelitian ini berupa efektivitas Adobe Photoshop beserta fitur-fiturnya sebagai perangkat lunak yang dapat menjadi media dalam pembelajaran Bahasa Indonesia di SMA.Kata Kunci: Adobe Photoshop, Media Pembelajaran, Biografi

The method used in this activity is a description and practice. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya kemampuan siswa tunarungu dalam penggunaan aplikasi komputer adobe photoshop CS6, karena belum adanya panduan khusus bagi siswa tunarungu dalam pengoperasian photoshop sehingga menyulitkan siswa tunarungu dalam proses editing gambar menggunakan photoshop CS6. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kelayakan panduan pengembangan adobe photoshop CS6 berbasis android untuk melatih vokasional life skill editing gambar siswa tunarungu. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah 4D dengan tahapan Define (Pendefinisian), Design (Perencanaan) Develop (Pengembangan) dan Disseminate (Penyebaran). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan lembar validasi ahli yang meliputi ahli media, ahli materi, serta pengguna. Data hasil kelayakan berdasarkan uji validitas dari beberapa ahli diperoleh hasil (1) Ahli materi Pendidikan Luar Biasa 75%, (2) Ahli Media 95%, (3) Menurut pengguna 95%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa pengembangan panduan Adobe Photoshop CS6 berbasis android untuk melatih vokasional life skill editing gambar siswa tunarungu layak untuk digunakan.

Penelitian ini merupakan suatu kegiatan untuk mengetahui kepuasan siswa terhadap software Adobe Photoshop dengan menggunakan metode end-user computing satisfaction (EUCS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memperoleh hasil evaluasi aplikasi mengenai tingkat kepuasan siswa sebagai pengguna dan rekomendasi perbaikan teknis pada aplikasi Adobe Photoshop menjadi aplikasi yang lebih baik. Pada tahap proses analisis penelitian digunakan metode analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil yang diperoleh dari survey kepuasan siswa pada penelitian ini mencapai tingkat kepuasan sebesar 66%. Hasil analisis dihitung dari analisis dengan nilai atribut, nilai content 73%, nilai accuracy 64%, nilai format 72%, nilai ease of use 54%, dan nilai timeline 65%. Hasil dari survey ini pada bagian kategori penilaian end-user computing satisfaction (EUCS), pengguna software Adobe Photoshop menyatakan puas. Perangkat lunak Adobe Photoshop perlu meningkatkan beberapa aspek agar lebih baik, terutama fitur pemilihan alat pengeditan yang dapat memudahkan untuk memilih menyeleksi object secara detail dan rinci.

The development of technology may impact educational field. Research on technology and language learning shows that technology may provide some opportunities for students to get an easy access in information, integrated learning, and easy way to practice what they learn. The language created in the computer program can be used as a communication tool for its application, including in teaching English. Nowadays, using computer can support language learning. Regarding this point, this study aims to analyze new terms found in Adobe Photoshop Program. Further, the researchers also described morphological processes of the new terms in Adobe Photoshop program in teaching English vocabulary. While, the design of this research is descriptive qualitative design. The result shows compound and derived words can be classified as new terms in Adobe Photoshop CS4. Related to teaching vocabulary, the results show that teaching English vocabulary through word formation found in new terms in Adobe Photoshop Program may give an impact on students’ vocabulary development.

Aplikasi ini memperkenalkan tools perisian Adobe Photoshop dalam kalangan pelajar Multimedia, yang dibangunkan adalah bertujuan untuk membantu pelajar Multimedia untuk mengenali tools perisian Adobe Photoshop dengan cara yang lebih moden iaitu menggunakan AR. Reka bentuk aplikasi ini dibangunkan dengan menggunakan elemen multimedia seperti audio, video, grafik, animasi dan teks. Kajian ini dijalankan bagi mengetahui persepsi pengguna yang ianya merangkumi kebolehgunaan, keberkesanan dan reka bentuk responden terhadap hasil produk akhir yang telah dibangunkan. Pembangunan aplikasi ini dibangunkan menggunakan ADDIE Model. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan min yang terkumpul bagi responden kajian ialah 3.50 bagi persepsi kebolehgunaan, 3.33 bagi min persepsi keberkesanan dan 3.57 bagi persepsi reka bentuk aplikasi. Secara keseluruhannya, hasil kajian yang diperolehi oleh responden kajian menunjukkan skor min yang tinggi. Appliying Augmented Reality to Introduce Adobe Photoshop Software Tools Among Secondary School Multimedia Students Abstract: This application is introducing Adobe Photoshop software tools among multimedia students; it was developed to help multimedia students to recognize Adobe Photoshop software tools in a more modern way that is using AR. The design of this application is developed using multimedia elements such as audio, video, graphics, animation, and text. This study was conducted to find out consumer perceptions which include the usability, effectiveness, and design of respondents to the final product that has been developed. The development of this application was developed using the ADDIE Model. The findings of the study showed that the cumulative mean for the study respondents was 3.50 for the perception of usability, 3.33 for the mean of the perception of effectiveness, and 3.57 for the perception of application design. Dalam konsep digital marketing didukung dengan pemahaman tentang konsep desain, yang merupakan tools untuk marketing. Adobe Photoshop merupakan salah satu aplikasi yang dapat digunakan untuk mendesain tools marketing yang berguna untuk implementasi digital marketing. Pada kegiatan ini, mitra SMK yang diundang untuk mengikuti pelatihan Adobe Photoshop adalah SMK TEKNOLOGI KARAWANG. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan bekal siswa dalam implementasi digital marketing melalui pelatihan desain menggunakan adobe photoshop. Prosedur yang dilakukan pada kegiatan ini dimulai dengan pre-test, koordinasi dengan mitra, persiapan materi, pelaksanaan kegiatan dan evaluasi kegiatan(post-test). Kegiatan diikuti oleh 60 peserta yang berasala dari kelas XII. Hasil kegiatan ini dapat dinyatakan sukses, hal ini dapat diperlihatkan dari tingkat pemahaman dan produk desain yang dihasilkan. Implikasi dari kegiatan ini adalah peningkatan pemahaman siswa tentang digital marketing dan penggunakan adobe photoshop sebagai aplikasi untuk medesain poster, flyer, dan lain – lain.

У даній статті осмислена одна з найвідоміших програм у цифровому мистец-тві – Adobe Photoshop, її функції та можливості. Також розглянуто її викори-стання у професійній роботі творчого спрямування, характерні особливості, різні напрямки виконання задач. Основна увага приділяється особливостям програми Adobe Photoshop в цифровому мистецтві. Наведені основні зако-номірності використання софту. Дослідженo теоретичне питання ефективнос-ті застосування Adobe Photoshop. Ціль наукової статті полягає в розгляді особливостей функцій програми та її команд. Також зрозуміти суть взаємодії відображення творчих ідей, які втілилися в образах і сюжетах за допомогою даної програми. Аналіз софту дозволив виявити основні особливості про-грaми, етапи роботи з нею, що дозволило розглянути ефективність застосу-вання програми для виконaння творів цифрового мистецтва. Дослідження основних дій та інструментів дозволяє більш повно відображати найкращі методи роботи з Adobe Photoshop. Проведено дослідження базових комбіна-цій клавіш (hot keys). Визначена ступінь впливу поєднaння клавіш у роботі. Був проведений аналіз інтерфейсу програми, дій, команд, що виконуються цією системою. Розглянута панель робочого середовища. Така панель змінює робоче середовище в залежності від потреб та специфікації. У цій галузі роз-ташовуються налаштування різних інструментів, шарів, палітра кольорів та інші інструменти. При розгляді налаштувань важливо дізнатися, чи дозво-ляють вони значно розширити функціонал митця та чи надaють вони варіа-тивні можливості у розробці проектів. Визначено, що для роботи поліграфі-стів, дизайнерів, фотографів, мультиплікаторів, архітекторів та інших твор-чих професій вaжливо мати повний набір інструментів корекції мультимедій-них файлів. Adobe Photoshop – редaктор, у якому можна не лише коригувати та ретушувати зображення, а й перетворювати форми, зберігати GIF–анімації, використовувaти шари й ефекти. Ці функції дозволяють трансфор-мувати, клонувати, покращувати зображення, зaстосовувати різні фільтри для створення роботи. Дослідження спрямоване на виявлення ефективності роботи з Adobe Phoroshop для виконaння свого твору, чи ідеї у цифровому середовищі.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan video pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis kelas X SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta. Dengan dibuatnya video pembelajaran ini diharapkan mampu membuat peserta didik dapat lebih mudah memahami fungsi-fungsi dasar tools pada toolbox Adobe Photoshop. Banyaknya tools pada Adobe Photoshop membuat proses pembelajaran yang membahas tentang Adobe Photoshop membutuhkan waktu lama. Oleh karna itu dikembangkanlah media pembelajaran berupa video pembelajaran yang dapat diakses dimanapun sehingga peserta didik dapat mempelajarinya diluar pembelajaran sekolah. Pengembangan video pembelajaran ini dilakukan melalui beberapa tahap yaitu: (1) perencanaan produk, (2) desain produk, (3) perencanaan konsep, (4) perancangan desain, (5) pengumpulan bahan, (6) pembuatan, (7) pengujian, dan (8) pendistribusian. Pada tahap pengujian oleh ahli materi hasil persentase nilai yang didapat yaitu 100% dan pada tahap pengujian oleh ahli media hasil persentase nilai yang didapat yaitu 89,3%. Setelah dinyatakan layak oleh ahli materi dan ahli media, selanjutnya video pembelajaran diuji kepada responden yaitu peserta didik bidang keahlian Multimedia kelas X SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta dan mendapatkan hasil persentase nilai 91,85%. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa video pembelajaran pengenalan dan pengguanaan dasar toolbox pada Adobe Photoshop layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran pada mata pelajaran Dasar Desain Grafis kelas X SMK Negeri 40 Jakarta.

The target in this activity is the students of SMA Negeri 5 Tanjungbalai, amounting to approximately 18 people. This dedication activity is carried out using lecture, demonstration, and practice methods accompanied by questions and answers. The lecture method is used to explain the introductory concept of the introduction of Adobe Photoshop software as one of the media in processing images. The demonstration method is used to show a work process that is the stages of introducing tools in Adobe Photoshop software and knowing each of its functions, while the training method is to practice directly how to design posters in the application. While the question and answer method is to give participants the opportunity to consult to overcome obstacles in understanding the material that has been obtained. The final results of this activity are expected to add insight to students in designing posters as a way to present or convey information. Software yang digunakan adalah Adobe Flash Professional CS6, Adobe Photoshop CS6 dan Adobe Audition CS6. Adobe Flash Professional CS6 digunakan untuk membuat animasi 2D, membuat game dan media interaktif, Adobe Photoshop CS6 digunakan untuk mengolah gambar sedangkan Adobe Audition CS6 digunakan untuk mengolah suara. Hasil dari media pembelajaran diketahui bahwa produk media pembelajaran yang dibuat layak digunakan di Taman Kanak-kanak Samarinda, kelayakan produk berdasarkan validasi ahli materi sebesar (95%) sedangkan berdasarkan validasi ahli media sebesar (96,6%) termasuk kriteria “layak” untuk digunakan. Peningkatan pada nilai rata-rata siswa sebelum dan sesudah adanya aplikasi sebesar 68,3% sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa media pembelajaran yang dibuat dapat dijadikan sebagai alat pendukung dalam pembelajaran di sekolah.

The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between teaching video editing and motion graphics skills and concepts with Adobe Photoshop in a university marketing course and teaching effectiveness. Video editing and motion graphics skills and concepts were taught in a 16-week semester upper division marketing course using Adobe Photoshop. The student evaluation of teaching effectiveness data of this 16-week semester course was analyzed. The results from this analysis suggests students found learning video editing and motion graphics skills and concepts with Photoshop to be a positive learning experience. Marketing educators can teach video editing and motion graphics skills and concepts with Photoshop by following the 16-week semester course outline presented in this paper. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh, (1) hasil angket ahli materi 80% (baik), hasil angket ahli media 81,3% (sangat baik), hasil angket tanggapan perorangan yang teridiri dari siswa dan guru 86,22% (sangat baik), dan hasil angket tanggapan untuk kelompok besar yang terdiri dari siswa 86,3% (2) hasil belajar siswa setelah menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop adalah 84,84% nilai siswa mencapai nilai KKM 70, serta (3) respon siswa terhadap media pembelajaran menggunakan aplikasi adobe flash dan fhotoshop yang digunakan mencapai 89,86% “sangat baik”. Мета. Удосконалення методів диференціальної діагностики атрофічних та нормотрофічних рубців шкіри голови та шиї шляхом використання комп’ютерної візуалізації цифрових світлин із застосуванням колірної системи RGB (Red, Green, Blue). Матеріали і методи. Ми спостерігали 60 пацієнтів із післяопераційними рубцями шкіри голови та шиї. Рубцевозмінену тканину додатково обстежували, аналізуючи цифрові світлини у програмі Adobe Photoshop CC із використанням системи кольорів RGB. Результати. Застосовуючи колірну систему RGB у діагностиці післяопераційних рубців шкіри щелепно-лицевої ділянки, достовірно визначали тип рубця. Залежно від типу рубця обирали оптимальний метод хірургічного втручання або консервативної терапії. Висновки. Застосування системи кольорів RGB у програмі Adobe Photoshop СС дає можливість диференціювати атрофічні та нормотрофічні рубці шкіри за показниками інтенсивності забарвлення кольоровим спектром.

Abstract:

The purpose of this study was to investigate the applicability of semiautomatic segmentation methods for obtaining and evaluating morphometric parameters of soil aggregates in artificially prepared loose samples in soil thin sections. The object of the research is typical arable Chernozem. The aggregates were separated by wet sieving method from loose sample of upper 10 cm of the plowing horizon after erosion by a model shallow water flow on a large erosion tray. The aggregates, loosely scattered on the glass and fixed with polyester resin, were used to produce the thin sections. Images of the thin sections were taken under a polarizing microscope and then were processed using two methods compared: Adobe Photoshop + CTan and Thixomet Pro. Data on morphometric parameters of aggregates were obtained: the shape factor, the degree of roundness and the coefficient of aggregate surface roughness. The convergence of the results obtained using Photoshop + CTan by three researchers was evaluated by comparing samples using the Student's test and the Mann-Whitney test. The convergence of the averaged results obtained using Photoshop + CTan and the results obtained using Thixomet Pro was evaluated using the Mann - Whitney test. No significant differences were found between the parameters of the same aggregates obtained using a combination of Adobe Photoshop and CTan programs by different researchers. No significant differences were found between the parameters of the same aggregates obtained by the compared methods. So, one can conclude that the reliability of determining the morphometric parameters of soil aggregates using Thixomet Pro is comparable to the reliability of results when working with images of sectionsin CTan after binarization in Adobe Photoshop. The method of obtaining data on morphometric parameters of soil aggregates using Thixomet Pro completely eliminates the possibility of subjective error, shows a high degree of automation, reproducibility and reliability of the results obtained, and is faster.

Abstract:

Three-dimensional images, or anaglyphs, can provide useful information as to height relationships between components of an image. They can also enliven presentations before diverse groups. Imagine a boardroom full of executives having their 5th straight meeting of the day. You are there to present preliminary research information that could lead to a major contract. After requesting that everyone to put on red/blue glasses (not exactly the height of fashion), you proceed to show stereo images of hair samples with obviously different degrees of roughness. Correlation is drawn between the different samples and the nutritional components of the dietary supplement being tested. A picture not only saves a lot of words. It also leaves a lasting image in the minds of the observers that could easily translate into $$$. Besides, it's fun to look at neat 3-D images!

Abstract:

Pain and swelling are common complications associated with dental implant surgery. Forty five patients were included in this study (Group 1: Paracetamol+ amoxicillin (n=15), Group 2: Paracetamol+ Cold packs (n=15), Group 3: Paracetamol (n=15)). Post op drugs were given based on the group, and Pre and post-operative photographs were evaluated with Adobe photoshop software. The photographs were evaluated with Adobe Photoshop for Statistical analysis was done by repeated measures ANOVA. The first day post-surgery, there was increased swelling in group 1 with mean surface area of swelling of 47.6±2.1 mm2 and considerable decrease in group 2, 42.1±3.5 mm2. The surface area of swelling in this group was maintained in the same range till Day 7.

Abstract:

Background. Microscopes are omnipresent throughout the field of biological research. With microscopes one can see in detail what is going on at the cellular level in tissues. Though it is a ubiquitous tool, the limitation is that with high magnification there is a small field of view. It is often advantageous to see an entire sample at high magnification. Over the years technological advancements in optics have helped to provide solutions to this limitation of microscopes by creating the so-called dedicated “slide scanners” which can provide a “whole slide digital image.” These scanners can provide seamless, large-field-of-view, high resolution image of entire tissue section. The only disadvantage of such complete slide imaging system is its outrageous cost, thereby hindering their practical use by most laboratories, especially in developing and low resource countries.Methods. In a quest for their substitute, we tried commonly used image editing software Adobe Photoshop along with a basic image capturing device attached to a trinocular microscope to create a digital pathology slide.Results. The seamless image created using Adobe Photoshop maintained its diagnostic quality.Conclusion. With time and effort photomicrographs obtained from a basic camera-microscope set up can be combined and merged in Adobe Photoshop to create a whole slide digital image of practically usable quality at a negligible cost.

Abstract:

SUMMARY Objective: To manage three cases of mild to moderate fluorosis by resin infiltration technique and to quantify the tooth color changes by measuring CIE L*a*b* values of digital photographs and calculating ΔE00 based on the CIEDE2000 formula using Adobe Photoshop software. Methods and Materials: Three cases of mild to moderate fluorosis were treated with a combination of bleaching and a resin infiltration technique. CIE L*a*b* values of 18 fluorosed spots were measured from digital photographs of these cases at four different stages—preoperative, postbleaching, postinfiltration and at 12-month follow-up—using Adobe Photoshop software, and ΔE00 was calculated based on the CIEDE2000 formula. The ΔE00 values of all 18 points obtained at different stages were submitted to statistical analysis (α=0.05) Results: In all the cases reported, clinically as well as by the photographic color analysis, it was found that the technique masked the lesions, improving the patients' esthetics, which was maintained even at 12-month recall. Statistically significant difference in ΔE00 values was present between comparison of all stages (p<0.001) except between postinfiltration and the 12-month follow-up stage (p=0.642). Conclusion: A resin infiltration technique helped in the satisfactory management of white spot lesions of fluorosis, which were stable even at 12-month follow up. Quantitation of the changes was achieved using Adobe Photoshop software.

Abstract:

This study is entitled "Implementation Of Adobe Photoshop Based Handout in Historical Learning in Senior High School Number 2 North Indralaya". The formulation of the problem in this study was to see whether there was an influence of the adobe photoshop CS3-based learning media handout on student learning outcomes in history subject in 10th grade students of Senior High School number 2 North Indralaya . This research was conducted from January 6th, 2020 until February 3rd, 2020. This type of method used in this study was quasi-experimental so that it only used one class to be tested. Data collection techniques used in this study were to use a test with a pretest and posttest design. The data analysis technique used was to use a simple regression test with a significant level of 0.05. Fcount results obtained 6.13, Ftable obtained F (0.05) (1.28) = 4.20. So based on the results of data analysis, the results of Fcount â‰¥ Ftable = (6.13 â‰¥ 4.20). Thus the hypothesis (Ho) was rejected and (Ha) was accepted. Penelitian ini berjudul â€œImplementasi Handout Berbasis Adobe Photoshop dalam Pembelajaran Sejarah di SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utaraâ€. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat apakah ada pengaruh penerapan media pembelajaran handout berbasis adobe photoshop CS3 terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas X SMA Negeri 2 Indralaya Utara. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan mulai dari tanggal 6 Januari 2020 sampai dengan tanggal 3 Februari 2020. Jenis metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah eksperimen semu sehingga hanya menggunakan satu kelas untuk diujicobakan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan tes dengan desain pretest dan posttest. Adapun teknik analisis data yang digunakan ialah dengan menggunakan uji regresi sederhana dengan taraf signifikan 0,05. Hasil Fhitung didapat 6,13, dan Ftabel didapat F(0,05) (1,28) =4,20. Sehingga berdasarkan hasil analisis data diperoleh hasil Fhitung â‰¥ Ftabel = (6,13â‰¥4,20). Dengan demikian hipotesis (Ho) ditolak dan (Ha) diterima.
