As digital technologies continue to evolve, they offer unprecedented opportunities to transform traditional educational paradigms. Virtual worlds offer a dynamic and immersive platform for fostering sustainability education, bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application. In these interactive environments, students can engage with complex ecological systems and sustainability challenges in a risk-free setting, allowing for experimentation and exploration that would be impractical or impossible in the real world. The key creative figure at ZBS is the writer and producer Thomas Lopez, whose work serves as a case study in a “post-network” style of radio drama, one shaped by multitrack editing, field recording, and the ethos of the 1960s counterculture. The ZBS aesthetic comes into sharpest focus in the Jack Flanders adventure series, which demonstrates how ZBS adapted a “theater of the mind” appr

Abstract: Travel is often thought to be an adventure, an exploration, a way of knowing self and world, a break from the stresses of everyday life, a vacation. But there can be a dark side to travel, as in voyages that are part of invasion, conflict and enforced transport. Here, I wish to concentrate on conflict, domination, murder and genocide and do so, at various moments, by referring to the Norse sagas, including the encounter with the Skrælings in the New World and, more briefly, Columbus’ and the Spaniards’ violent treatment of the Natives in the New World and the German transport, tortur

Acknowledging his debt to the poet of the Fleurs du Mal on several occasions, Breton demonstrates that he has really drawn from Baudelaire at least four valuable lines of conduct for his surrealism: morality based on the reconciliation of opposites and the rejection of the analytical reason, nature as a ‘forest of symbols’ (Correspondances), the power of desire and the collective character of the adventure concerning the exploration of the unknown (Le Voyage). After the war, Sartre, having realised the founding value of Baudelaire in Breton, published a book on the author of the Fleurs du Mal
