The Tintin and Corto Maltese series are among the most famous European adventure comics. The adventure genre – both in novels and comics – is deeply related to nineteenth-century colonialism. This chapter examines Norwegian film director Nils Gaup, who made several international productions, starting with the adventure film Shipwrecked (Håkon Håkonson, 1990), co-produced by Disney. Gaup’s international films are rich examples of the circulation and appropriation of ideas in inter- and transnational genre films. Shipwrecked and Tashunga/North Star (1996) constitute attempts to create a Euro-Hollywood production that reimagines the adventure film or the western genre. The article is devoted to the hermeneutic and comparative analysis of the short story The Fox’s Footprint (1939) by the Russian writer of the Harbin diaspora B. M. Yulsky. The mystical, mythological, adventure aspects are studied. Komedya, or moro-moro, is a genre of the Philippine national theater that was flourishing from the second half of the 17th century until the second half of the 19th century. Procedural Content Generation for multiple game content facets is a challenge for the game industry and academia. A content orchestrator is a software that can manage different procedural content generators, mixing their outputs while maintaining coherence and feasibility.
