Significant amounts of rock dust with a grain size similar to cement are generated during aggregate dedusting in the production of mineral-asphalt masses. These wastes are collected in tanks or silos and must be managed in such a way as not to generate costs related to disposal. On the other hand, the use of natural resources must be reduced in the production of cement composites. The objective of this research is to investigate the possibility of utilising aggregate dedusting waste (ADW) in vibro-pressed concrete paving blocks (VPCPB). The main design goals of the multipath transmission control protocol (MPTCP) are to improve the throughput and share a common bottleneck link fairly with a single-path transmission control protocol (TCP). The existing MPTCP congestion control algorithms achieve the goal of fairness with single-path TCP flows in a shared bottleneck, but they cannot maximize the throughput in nonshared bottlenecks, where multiple subflows traverse different bottleneck links. This is because the MPTCP is designed not to exceed the throughput of a single-path TCP competing in the bottleneck. Therefore, we believe

Abstract:
In modern office environments, lighting systems, heating/cooling system and personal computers are the main energy consumers. Our aim is to minimise use of energy resources in the office environments while still taking account of user preferences and comfort. To achieve the goal, a data collection system is designed and built. This required a wireless sensor network to monitor a wide range of ambient conditions and user activities, and a software agent to monitor user's personal computer activities. Collected data from different users are gathered into a central database and converted into a meaningful format for description of the worker's Activity of Daily Working (ADW) and office environment conditions. An activity recognition model using an event-driven model is proposed to recognise a worker's activities during times when the office is occupied or unoccupied. The experimental results demonstrate the model recognises a worker's activities and can classify them into six categories (home, lunch, short break, out of office duties, not using computer and using computer) with accuracy of more than 90%.

Abstract:
Abstract Viruses and the hosts they infect are involved in an evolutionary battle. The host has physical barriers that protect itself from viruses. Infected cells can commit suicide to preclude virus replication. Virus-infected cells are destroyed by the innate and adaptive arms of the immune system, and virions are eliminated by specific antibodies. Viruses, in tum, have mechanisms that allow the virus to infect cells and survive attack by the host. Virus proteins inhibit intrinsic cellular apoptosis, and block killing of infected cells by cytokines and cells of the immune system. These viral proteins are interesting tools to understand virus pathogenesis, cellular apoptosis, and the immune response. They also provide novel insights into many key regulatory aspects of molecular and cellular biology. In this article we describe human adenovirus (Ad) proteins that counteract host antiviral responses. Aspects of this topic have been reviewed elsewhere (1–5). There are 51 serotypes of human Ads, which fall into six subgroups, A–F. We will limit our discussion to the commonly studied serotypes 5 (Ad5) and Ad2, members of subgroup C.

Google Ads is a powerful tool for companies wishing to gain visibility on Google searches, as it offers impression privileges for advertisers, by featuring the ad above the organic results listing. This chapter contributes to the optimization of Google Ads campaigns. It includes an empirical study with a sample of marketing professionals exploring their views on the challenges of Google Ads as a digital marketing tool. According to the participants in this study, Google Ads campaign profitability depends, largely, on the ability to choose a keyword pool that achieves the company's goals. Moreover, the complexity of these pay-per-click decisions, the costs involved, and its business implications demand more reasoned, quantified, and, if possible, optimized solutions. The chapter develops linear programming optimization models based on impressions, clicks, conversions, and billing. The models are tested on a real example using Excel optimization add-ins.

Abstract:
A self-healing ring is a network to survive during a cable cut [1]. This paper describes an architecture of remote node for uni-directional self-healing ring network, each of which consists of an optical add-drop multiplexer (ADM), three optical switches, and three erbium-doped fiber amplifiers (EDFAs). We estimate the channel capacity of the ring network whose channels are spaced 0.8-nm apart in the amplifier band.

Abstract:
Adrenaline (Adr) is generally considered as a full agonist able to induce in vitro the aggregation of human platelets and could play an important role in vivo in the appearance of thrombotic disorders when catecholamine levels are increased. Adr 2.5 M) induces the aggregation and secretion of 41 % of preloaded 3H-serotonin in human platelets in citrated plasma. This effect is not seen in plasma collected on 50 ATU/ml hirudin, and is due to the generation of traces of thrombin during blood collection and not to a direct effect of citrate itself, such asthe lowering of plasma free calcium. Abstract:
We studied the biochemical composition, nutritive value of the green mass and prepared hay from Ro-manian cultivars of perennial ryegrass, Lolium perenne L. „Mara” and „Măgura” grown in monoculture on the experimental plot of the National Botanical Garden (Institute) “Alexandru Ciubotaru”, Chisinau, R. Mol-dova. Results revealed that dry matter of harvested green mass contained 98-116 g/kg CP, 299-326 g/kg CF, 71-77 g/kg ash, 329-353 g/kg ADF, 546-593 g/kg NDF, 38-40 g/kg ADL, 291-313 g/kg Cel, 217-240 g/kg HC, with nutritive and energy value 60.9-65.3 % DMD, 60.1-64.8 % ODM, RFV=96-108, 12.12

Abstract:
We used eye tracking to measure visual attention to tobacco products and pro- and anti-tobacco advertisements (pro-ads and anti-ads) during a shopping task in a three-dimensional virtual convenience store. We used eye-tracking hardware to track the percentage of fixations (number of times the eye was essentially stationary; F) and dwell time (time spent looking at an object; DT) for several categories of objects and ads for 30 adult current cigarette smokers. We used Wald F-tests to compare fixations and dwell time across categories, adjusting comparisons of ads by the number of each type of a
