It represents a short account of the reign of Menelik (1889 - 1913), which for the main part of its contents, is dedicated to the war led by the Ethiopian sovereign against the Italians, with particular emphasis on the Battle of Adwa.

Stories of Adwa have anchored multiple forms of exceptionalism that underpin some Ethiopians’ sense of superiority over others of African descent. This narrative mode goes hand-in-hand with certain toxic, solidarity destroying tendencies of some diasporic Ethiopians. SummaryTo the Italian historian the Battle of Adwa in March 1896 has offered a field of interpretation which has been heavily marked by the events that occurred between (and within) the two countries—Ethiopia and Italy—before and after the battle. Adwa has been variously depicted by Italian historiography of the liberal period as a major military defeat, a political mistake by Crispi's expansionist government and the result of deep contrasts within the newly born state over the ‘colonial burden'. Fascist historiography painted Adwa as proof of liberal decay and political inefficiency. Adwa's n

Here we review the limited pharmacotherapy data available on the treatment of ADWA. The Method was optimized with mobile phase with a composition of buffer and solvent were of 60:40%v/v, flow maintained was 1.0ml/min, the injection volume of 10µl, run time was 5min. All separations were performed with PDA detector and c

This paper delves into the exploration of economic principles within Qur’anic exegesis. The focus centers on the elucidation of economic equity by, Muhammad Amin al-Shinqiti, as expounded in his tafsir “Adwa’ al-Bayan fī Idah al-Qur’an bi al-Qur’an.” A key emphasis is placed on al-Shinqiti’s comprehensive analysis of economic equity within Surah al-Hasyr [59]: 7. Additionally, al-Shinqiti contextualizes the verse to argue that the booty (al-fay’), as mentioned in the verse, should be reclaimed and channeled into state revenues.
