Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of leadership style and functional career civil engineer on the performance of BBTA3-BPPT. The variables studied were the style of leadership and career engineer functional as independent variables and employee performance BBTA3-BPPT as the dependent variable. Design research conducted in the preparation of this thesis is Associative quantitative research that aims to determine the relationship between two or more variables describe or reveal a problem, situation, event or revealing facts as they are deeply and try to find a solution or solutions to problems. The data used is the result of the employee questionnaires BBTA3-BPPT. The data is then analyzed by using the correlation coefficient, determination and test F-hitung t-hitung and then compared with T-table and F-table. The results showed that leadership style BBTA3-BPPT in Setu Tangerang can be good, because the overall average value of 3.91 is in the interval 3.40 to 4.19, and engineer functional career can be good, because the value of overall average of 3.81 is pad interval from 3.40 to 4.19. While the performance of employees BBTA3-BPPT in southern Setu Tangerang can be good, because the overall average value of 4.19 is the interval from 3.40 to 4.19. The results of the correlation coefficient (r) of 0394 can be summed up the effect of the variable X1 (leadership style) X2 (Functional Career Engineers) to variable Y (employee performance) where the relationship is positive. The results of calculation for 5923 F-hitung further consultation with the F-table with dk = k numerator and denominator dk = (nk-1) with a 5% error level the importance of the F-table = 3.14. Provisions applicable F-hitung greater than F table (5923> 3.14), it can be stated that the multiple correlation is significant. Thus the null hypothesis (Ho) that states there is no effect between leadership styles and career engineer functional effect on employee performance is rejected, while the alternative hypothesis (Ha) is accepted. Abstrak Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh gaya kepemimpinan dan karir jabatan fungsional perekayasa terhadap kinerja pegawai BBTA3 BPPT. Variabel yang diteliti adalah gaya kepemimpinan dan karir jabatan fungsional perekayasa sebagai variabel bebas dan kinerja pegawai sebagai variabel terikat.Metode penelitian yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah Asosiatif kuantitatif, data yang digunakan adalah hasil kuisioner dari pegawai BBTA3 BPPT. Data tersebut kemudian dianalisis dengan menggunakan metode koefisien korelasi, determinasi dan uji t-hitung dan F-hitung kemudian dibandingkan dengan t-tabel dan F-tabel. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan BBTA3 BPPT di Setu Tangerang Selatan dapat dikatakan baik, karena nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,91 berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19, dan karir jabatan fungsional perekayasa dapat dikatakan baik, karena nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 3,81 berada pad interval 3,40-4,19. Sedangkan kinerja pegawai dapat dikatakan baik, karena nilai rata-rata keseluruhan sebesar 4,19 berada pada interval 3,40 – 4,19. Hasil koefisien korelasi (r) sebesar 0.394 dapat disimpulkan adanya pengaruh antara variabel X1 (gaya kepemimpinan) X2 Karir Jabatan Fungsional Perekayasa) terhadap variabel Y (kinerja pegawai) dimana hubungan tersebut positif. Hasil perhitungan harga F-hitung sebesar 5.923 selanjutnya dikonsultasikan dengan F-tabel dengan dk pembilang = k, dan dk penyebut = (n-k-1) dengan taraf kesalahan 5% maka didapat Ftabel = 3.14. Ketentuan yang berlaku untuk F-hitung lebih besar dari Ftabel (5.923 > 3.14) maka dapat dinyatakan bahwa korelasi ganda tersebut signifikan. Dengan demikian hipotesis nol (Ho) yang menyatakan tidak terdapat pengaruh antara gaya kepemimpinan dan karir jabatan fungsional perekayasa terhadap kinerja pegawai ditolak, sedangkan hipotesis alternatif (Ha) diterima.

Bezsíťové metody reprezentují alternativu ke standardním diskretizačním technikám, které pro svůj chod vyžadují síť. V posledních desetiletích bylo vynaloženo mnoho úsilí k ověření konkurenceschopnosti bezsíťových metod v různých inženýrských odvětvích. Diplomová práce je zaměřena na aplikaci vhodné bezsíťové metody ve výpočetní aeroakustice. Stěžejní část této práce se zabývá úlohami šíření zvuku, které lze modelovat pomocí linearizovaných Eulerových rovnic. Obecně lze tyto rovnice zařadit mezi lineární hyperbolické systémy. Pro úlohy aeroakustiky se jako vhodná bezsíťová metoda jeví Finite point method (FPM), která byla úspěšně použita pro řešení úloh dynamiky tekutin. Odvozením této metody a návrhy k dosažení vysoké přesnosti se věnuje další část práce. Úlohy šíření zvuku se známým řešením jsou testovány vlastním softwarem vyvinutým speciálně pro tyto účely.

Abstract:
Predicting and inhibiting aerodynamically generated noise for fast moving vehicles such as cars, aircraft and trains is increasingly important. The tonal noise generated by the shear-layer instability of air flowing around the cavity opening is especially one of the most significant and most intense sources of aerodynamically generated noise. Computational aeroacoustics (CAA) based on the CFD simulations of compressible Navier-Stokes equations offers the most general approach to predicting those aerodynamically induced sounds. Aeroacoustics is practically always associated with turbulent flow and turbulence is the major challenge for CFD simulations. Four different turbulence modelling approaches are examined in this work. Three of them belong to the LES method category and one uses the URANS approach. Appropriate numerical discretization and iteration schemes have been identified for each of these approaches and implemented in the OpenFOAM open source CFD platform. The accuracy, computational performance and convergence reliability of those schemes have been subsequently studied during three-dimensional CFD simulations on a model of a suitable real object. The CFD simulation results are validated by a measurement. An organ pipe has been chosen as the object of this CAA research because it uses self-sustained oscillations, commonly referred as shear-layer (Rossiter) modes, as the source of its tone generation. The numerical simulation of the shear layer modes, respectively the noise generated by instability in the shear layer, is the subject of this work.

Abstract:
Parciální diferenciální rovnice hrají důležitou v inženýrských aplikacích. Často je možné tyto rovnice řešit pouze přibližně, tj. numericky. Z toho důvodu vzniklo množství diskretizačních metod pro řešení těchto rovnic. Uvedená nespojitá Galerkinova metoda se zdá jako velmi obecná metoda pro řešení těchto rovnic, především pak pro hyperbolické systémy. Naším cílem je řešit úlohy aeroakustiky, přičemž šíření akustických vln je popsáno pomocí linearizovaných Eulerových rovnic. A jelikož se jedná o hyperbolický systém, byla vybrána právě nespojitá Galerkinova metoda. Mezi nejdůležitější aspekty této metody patří schopnost pracovat s geometricky složitými oblastmi, možnost dosáhnout metody vysokého řádu a dále lokální charakter toho schématu umožnuje efektivní paralelizaci výpočtu. Nejprve uvedeme nespojitou Galerkinovu metodu v obecném pojetí pro jedno- a dvoudimenzionalní úlohy. Algoritmus následně otestujeme pro řešení rovnice advekce, která byla zvolena jako modelový případ hyperbolické rovnice. Metoda nakonec bude testována na řadě verifikačních úloh, které byly formulovány pro testování metod pro výpočetní aeroakustiku, včetně oveření okrajových podmínek, které, stejně jako v případě teorie proudění tekutin, jsou nedílnou součástí výpočetní aeroakustiky.

The goal of this thesis is to introduce the finite difference method (FDM) adjusted for usage in modeling of sound propagation, and other approaches that are used together with this method. These approaches include selective filtering and time integration using the Runge-Kutta method, which has low computer memory requirements. An important topic in modeling sound propagation are boundary conditions. The thesis examines and verifies several types of boundary conditions. Included in the thesis are solutions to example problems implemented in Matlab.

Abstract:
Transportation is the main source of environmental noise in Europe, with an estimated 125 million people affected by excessive noise levels from road traffic, causing a burden of noise related diseases and having a substantial economic impact on society. In order to reduce exposure to high levels of traffic noise, two approaches are the topic of extensive research: preventing sound from propagating from roads and railways using for example noise barriers, and reducing the sources of noise themselves. The second solution, which addresses directly the cause of the problem, requires improved design methods, with a more systematic resort to multi-functional design. Addressing cross-functions simultaneously reduces the number of design iterations and the high cost of prototyping. The work presented in this thesis aims at developing methods that can be used to design quieter vehicle concepts within a multi-functional approach, and is articulated around two main axis of research, aerodynamic sound generation and sound propagation. The first axis aims at performing an aeroacoustic analysis to predict aerodynamic sound sources. A hybrid method is used on the example of a type of submerged air inlet called a NACA duct, where the near-field flow is solved through detached eddy simulation (DES) and where the far-field acoustics is computed using the Ffowcs Williams and Hawkings integral. Results for the flow for various operating conditions are presented and validated against experimental data from the literature, with very good agreement. Far-field acoustic results are shown, exhibiting levels and components that are strongly dependent on the operating conditions. This analysis gives a framework for future aeroacoustic analysis in the project, and sets the path for the development of air inlets with improved aerodynamic and aeroacoustic characteristics. The second axis focuses on the propagation of sound from a given source, moving in an urban environment. An approximate boundary method is presented, which relies on the Kirchhoff approximation applied to the Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integral equation. Using this approximation speeds up the computational time compared to using a regular boundary element method. The resulting expression is extended to account for multiple scattering through consecutive updates of the surface pressures, and for moving sources through the introduction of a retarded time and of a Doppler shift. Validation tests for this method are presented, from simple scatterers to a more realistic configuration, showing good agreement with analytical, experimental and simulated work.
Fordon är den främsta källan till bullerexponering i Europa med uppskattningsvis 125 miljoner människor som är utsatta för höga ljudnivåer från vägtrafik, vilket kan orsaka bullerrelaterade häsloproblem samt har en betydande ekonomisk effekt på samhället. För att minska exponeringen för höga ljudnivåer från fordon, finns det två angreppssätt som båda idag är ämne för omfattande forskning: att förhindra ljudutbredning från vägar och järnvägar (till exempel med hjälp av bullerskydd), samt att minska ljudnivån från olika bullerkällor. Den sistnämnda, som direkt riktar sig till problemets orsak, kräver förbättrade designmetoder med mer systematisk användning av multifunktionell design. Att hantera flera funktioner hos fordonet samtidigt minskar antalet designiterationer och den höga kostnaden för prototyper. Arbetet som presenteras i denna avhandling syftar till att utveckla metoder som kan användas för att utforma tystare fordonskoncept inom ramen för en multifunktionell strategi och fokuserar på två spår i forskningen: aerodynamisk ljudalstring och ljudutbredning från rörliga källor. Det första spåret i forskningen syftar till att utföra en aeroakustisk undersökning för att modellera aerodynamiska ljudkällor. En hybridmetod tillämpas på ett typ av nedsänkt luftintag, kallat NACA-intag, där källområdet i strömningen löses genom detached eddy simulation (DES) och akustiken i fjärrfältet beräknas enligt Ffowcs Williams och Hawkings integral. Resultat för strömningen för olika driftförhållanden presenteras och valideras mot experimentella data från litteraturen, med mycket god överensstämmelse. Resultat för det akustika fjärrfältet visas, vilket uppvisar nivåer och komponenter som är starkt beroende av driftförhållandena. Denna analys ger en ram för kommande analyser av aeroakustik inom projektet och visar vägen för utvecklingen av luftintag med förbättrade aerodynamiska och aeroakustika egenskaper. Det andra spåret i forskningsprojektet är inriktat på ljudets utbredning från en given källa som rör sig i en urban miljö. En approximativ randvärdesmetod presenteras som bygger på Kirchhoff approximation tillämpad på Kirchhoff-Helmholtz integralekvation. Med hjälp av denna approximation minskas beräkningstiden jämfort med vanlig boundary element method (BEM). Modellen utvecklas sedan för att kunna hantera flera reflektioner genom att det akustiska trycket på ytorna uppdateras för varje reflektion samt för att kunna hantera rörliga källor genom att introducera tidsfördröjningar och Dopplerförskjutning. Validering för denna modell presenteras, från enkla spridare till en mer realistisk urban konfiguration, som visar god överensstämmelse med analytiskt, experimentellt och simulerat data.
