Abstract:
The study the stylistics of the Qur'an cannot be separated from the concept of i'jaz al-Quran as a form of uniqueness and privilege of the language of Qur'an. When Qur'an was delivered to the Arab society, they had used high language and literature. By the emergence of the art of reading the Quran (nagham al-Quran) around the world, and it is believed as one of the forms of appreciation of the Qoran, Muslims in Indonesia receive and appreciate it with pleasure. The Musabaqoh Tilawatil Quran (MTQ), whish is held by the governments and non-governmental institutions of all levels, has been carried out on a regular and continuous basis. As a religious text, the Qur'an has a very high literary dimension. The Quran also has some aesthetic and musical-messaging dimensions. This paper attempts to discuss the stylistic styles of language in the aspects of the art of reading the Qoran with a single voice, without the accompaniment of musical instruments, and unrelated to musical tone. This is specifically used for tazyin al-Saut bi tilawah al-Quran. The approach used in this study is Al-Uslub al-Adabi or Literary Stilistica, which focuses on the level of persistence or phonology, which includes phonetics and phonemics. Phonetics is divided into three parts, namely; articulatory phonetic, acoustic phonetics, and auditory phonetics. The discussion on literary stylistics is cannot be separated from emotional aspects, not logical aspects. The analysis of literary stylistics in the art of reading al-Quran (nagham al-Quran) produces the effect of the reader's feelings, sensational feelings and spiritual feeling. Spiritual feeling is divided into religious, ethical, aesthetic, intellectual, social, and personal feeling. Meanwhile, in the aspects of communication generate understanding and scientific knowledge about the principles of transcendent communication, the principle of spiritual communication, the principle of human communication, and finally lead to the Principle of Quranic Communication.

Summary Nowadays in the aesthetic dentistry concepts, techniques, and materials which aim is to establish new smiles with minimally invasive approaches and maximum natural effect on the restorations and in the same time to restore the mastication and phonetics for a better quality of life are used. However, the patient’s demands and the level of information has driven the profession to a certain questioning respecting the treatment customization especially those related to treatment planning according to the individual psychological characteristics of each patient, that if ignored, may lead to esthetically dissatisfaction, even though all the esthetic rules which tend to establish standards were incorporated. The purpose of this article is to show that besides the esthetic rules established throughout the time, the emotional expression of the treatment, represented by the shapes and lines constituent of a smile, should also be taken into consideration during the treatment planning. Softwares for personalized smile design could be powerful tool for planning such new smile designs.

Abstract:
Implant-supported prosthodontic rehabilitation of total edentulism remains the most complex restorative challenges. The main reason being the number of variables that affect both the aesthetic and functional aspects of the prosthesis. A hybrid denture or the ‘Toronto prosthesis’ is one that is fabricated over a metal framework and retained by screws threaded into implants. This article presents the fabrication of implant-retained maxillary Equator® attachment overdenture opposing mandibular implant-retained hybrid prosthesis. A total of four implants (Equinox® Myriad plus) were placed the maxillary arch and six implants (Equinox® Myriad plus) in the mandibular arch. The patient's occlusal vertical dimension, centric relation, aesthetics and phonetics were determined and maintained throughout the restorative process. This case report describes the management of a completely edentulous patient with a mandibular implant-supported fixed prosthesis and maxillary implant-retained overdenture with Equator® attachment.

Reading Ulysses, all kinds of sounds impinge on our ears from all sides. They may be human or nonhuman, loud or low, soft or rough, funny or ridiculous. This paper will explore the different symbolic or metaphorical implications of two distinctive sounds: the church bells and the jingling sound. It seems that few Joycean scholars have attended to Joyce’s manipulating of sounds and their unique stylistic and aesthetic effects, and this paper from a perspective of cognitive phonetics and cognitive psychology, finds that the church bells are the overtone of death, and the jingling sound as well as the tapping sound reveals one major theme of the novel: sexuality.

The aesthetic problems associated with defects in appearance and wearing orthodontic appliances in the malocclusion, the negative impact on the psyche of the patient in all age groups. Malocclusion disturb the aesthetic appearance of the patient, causing functional disorders and pathological changes. The problem ofprevention and treatment ofdentoalveolar anomalies has not only medical, but also a social value. Many patients understand the needfor timely treatment to the dentist. Beautiful and straight teeth have become part of modern life, his well-being, health and social status. Any abnormalities always affect the psyche. Patients with dental system pathology suffer from changes in appearance, violations of phonetics, chewing function and this formed the difficulties in communication. Mental and emotional state plays an important role in human life, which affects the predictions of success and the development of treatments. Do not unimportant role in the treatment plays a dentist, his mood affects the man, and he has concluded on the basis of suggestion or self-hypnosis. The mood doctor can specifically change the whole picture of the disease, and set up a patient in a positive way. Generalized gingival enlargement in children interferes with the eruption of teeth. It may lead to difficulty in mastication and phonetics. Very few cases of generalized gingival enlargement associated with eruption of teeth in as young as 10 year old child had been reported in literature. The pathphysiology for occurrence of gingival enlargement with eruption of teeth is not clearly established. Generalized gingival enlargement was present in a 10 year old girl since the eruption of permanent teeth. The gingival biopsy was done followed by full mouth gingivectomy of maxillary and mandibular arch. The histopathological picture showed hyperplastic tissue. The treatment of gingival enlargement at early stage leads to exposure of teeth. The treatment resulted in improvement in mastication and establishing the aesthetic smile of the 10 year old child. This case represents systematic evaluation of gingival enlargement followed by gingival biopsy and gingivectomy. The management of gingival enlargement in children is challenging and requires systematic follow-up.

Abstract:
The main aim of prosthetic dentistry is restoring the form, function, comfort and appearance of the patient by the placement of a prosthesis replacing the missing teeth and contiguous tissues.1 Various prosthetic options for partially edentulous patients include an interim removable partial denture (RPD) to a cast partial denture, a fixed dental prosthesis (FDP), and a more implant-retained prosthesis. However, FDP and implant-retained prosthesis are not always feasible, particularly in patients with excessive residual ridge resorption and jaw defects due to trauma and / or surgical ablation. In such a situation, a dentist may resort to another option of fixed-RPD prosthesis, to restore the defective hard and soft tissues to achieve natural aesthetics, phonetics, comfort, and better hygiene. This hybrid prosthesis fulfils the objectives of the rehabilitation such as support, stability, and retention characteristics similar to a fixed prosthesis and aesthetics and hygiene maintenance of a removable prosthesis.2,3,4,5 Any prosthesis designed or fabricated should be based on the prosthetic principles of support, stability, retention, and preservation of remaining structures.1 From the patient's perspective, retention is one of the important factors for its acceptability. These retentive options range from simple bar and clip attachments to more sophisticated spark erosion overdentures.6,7 Spark erosion prosthesis is technique sensitive, bulky, and requires expensive equipment.6,7 On the other hand, precision attachments provide better vertical support and stimulation to the underlying tissue through intermittent vertical massage.8 Treatment with a hybrid denture is an affordable choice to fulfil the patient's aesthetic demands along with providing a good prognosis for the prosthesis and preservation of the remaining dentition. This article presents two case reports of prosthodontic rehabilitation of a patient with mandibular defects using an attachment-retained fixed-removable hybrid prosthesis.

Abstract:
Objective : Determination of the vertical dimension of occlusion (DVO) tends to changes throughout the human life. The vertical dimension is determined by the interocclusal point of the upper and lower teeth contact so the application is limited when the natural teeth was missing. As the result, many functional and aesthetic changes are occurred in the whole orofacial region and stomatognathic system. DVO is one of the difficult stages in prosthodontic treatment. Most of the techniques to determine DVO in edentulous patients are based on the soft tissue references, which can cause the different measurements. Cephalometric analysis allows the evaluation of bone growth changes and can be used as a diagnostic tool in prosthodontics to evaluate the results of prosthodontic rehabilitation. Methods : The purpose of this case report was to find out the results of the vertical dimension of occlusion measurements in maxillomandibular relation by using cephalometric photo in patients who have been long lost their teeth and have never been using denture. Results : A 50 year old female patient, partially edentulous on the upper and lower jaw with the remaining teeth were 12 (residual root), 11,21,23,33 and 43. The remaining teeth were endodontically treated prior the complete denture procedure. Cephalometric photo was done in patients after making bite rim, upper and lower bite rim were given metal marker, the image was traced, then measured between metal to get the vertical dimension of occlusion. Conclusion : The measurement results of the vertical dimension of occlusion by using cephalometric photo on making full denture were more accurate, so it could improve and restore the masticatory function, aesthetic function and phonetics.

Abstract:
The proper knowledge of speech production and phonetic parameters will enables the clinician in fabrication of dentures with good phonetic capabilities. In achieving the optimum phonetic potential by providing correlation among three key objectives i.e. (mechanics, aesthetics and phonetics) of dentistry is the eventual goal of every dentist. This article provides a correlation between occlusion and speech, since the time these two factors are mostly not considered related to each other. But during phonation, the lower teeth functions independently and there remain no contact with upper teeth. This article also highlights the basic utilization of phonation as an indispensible part in placement of upper anterior teeth in complete and partial denture rehabilitation. This is basically because, while restoring natural teeth, we may have to depend on pre-extraction records in order to achieve necessary objectives. And if these records are missing, it is difficult to determining the position of artificial teeth. Hence here, we use phonetics as a guideline for proper placement of artificial teeth.

Abstract:
BACKGROUND Health education is an essential aspect for prevention of oral health problems in school children. Dental trauma can result in damaging the tooth, periodontal ligaments, and sometimes even alveolar bone and gingiva. These traumatic injuries to the anterior teeth in young children are tragic but are an ignored problem. They can result in aesthetic and functional problem with possible impact on child’s quality of life as anterior teeth are essential for phonetics, mastication, integrity of supporting tissue and also mental and psychological wellbeing of children. This dental emergency can be best handled by the school teachers and the staff members when it happens in a school. So, the study was conducted to assess the knowledge and attitude of the school teachers regarding the emergency management of dental trauma and sensitize them on the subject. METHODS This is a pre- and post-test study performed using self - designed questionnaire provided to the school-teachers of Wardha district. RESULTS Knowledge of 98 % teachers increased after the activity whereas knowledge of 2 % of school teachers was the same as earlier. CONCLUSIONS Sensitization of the school teachers improved their awareness and attitude to manage the dental trauma and avulsion injury of teeth in school. Abstract:
The treatment of choice in cases of avulsed permanent teeth is the immediate reimplantation. However, this conduct does not always work favorably, either by failures in the initial approach or by inappropriate interventions. In this sense, the aim of this study is to present an alternative prosthetic rehabilitation with the use of orthodontic mini-implants in the anterior region. This case reports a ten-year-old child with history of avulsion of superior central incisors. The therapeutic approach was planned to promote physiological teeth contacts and acceptable esthetics and phonetics. First, the occlusal-gingival insertion of two orthodontic mini-implants was performed in the alveolar ridge, and, immediately after that, two provisional crowns were attached to the implants. The interventions achieved satisfactory cosmetic and functional results. After one-year follow-up, the adjacent periodontal tissues remained without signs and/or symptoms of inflammation. The provisional crowns presented no mobility and fractures. During radiographic examination, a healthy bone tissue appearance was observed. The simplicity of mini-implant installation makes them a promising alternative for temporary prosthetic rehabilitation of patients undergoing growth and development. The technique provides positive aesthetic and functional results that may reflect on self-esteem and social inclusion of children and adolescents.

Abstract:
Introduction. Trauma injury in the oral cavity due to collisions can cause tooth fracture. Ellis class III fracture is a fracture of the crown with an open pulp. Teeth with exposed pulp will cause irritation of the pulp resulting in pulp inflammation (pulpitis). One visit pulpectomy and jacket crown with posts were carried out to achieve optimal dental functions. Case report. A 27-year-old male patient came to Dental Hospital of Universitas Gadjah Mada complained about his broken front teeth due to accident three days earlier. The crown of the maxillary right lateral incisor and the maxillary left central incisor with open pulp was seen. The tooth 11 was avulsion, which lost at the location of accident. The diagnosis of 12 and 21 were Ellis class III fracture. Initially an infiltration anaesthesia was done, followed by one visit root canal treatment (RCT). On the second visit, the teeth were asymptomatic, hence the jacket crown preparation and fiber post insertion were performed. On the third visit, a porcelain jacket crown was cemented into teeth 12 and 21. A week later the patient came for recall and no complaints were noted. Conclusion. One visit pulpectomy followed by restoration with porcelain crown and fiber posts can be undertaken to achieve the optimal functions of teeth, namely aesthetic, mastication, phonetics, and protection of supporting tissues function.

Abstract:
The intermaxillary relations refer to the position of the mandible in relation to the maxilla in the vertical and horizontal planes, being the occlusion vertical dimension (OVD) and the centric relation (CR) essential in the treatment with complete dentures. This article reports a case of reestablishing intermaxillary relations with conventional complete dentures (CCD).A 82-year-old male patient sought care to replace his complete dentures due to dissatisfaction with the aesthetics and chewing function. After anamnesis and extra and intraoral exams, it was found that the current complete dentures showed large wear of the teeth, causing decreased OVD, aesthetic, and masticatory damage. The edges had satisfactory conditions for CCD rehabilitation. From the anatomical impressions of edges were obtained study models for making individual trays, later used for functional impression and obtaining the working models, on which were made wax plans. After adjustment of the upper wax plane and registration of the facial arch, the upper model was mounted on the semi-adjustable articulator. For the determination of the OVD, metric, physiological, aesthetic, and phonetic methods were used, and for the determination of CR, manipulation and physiological methods were used. The inferior model was assembled after determination of intermaxillary relations. Teeth were selected and mounted. In the aesthetic and functional testing of the teeth, occlusion, OVD, and esthetics were restored. The dentures were polymerized and installed. In proservations, the patient reported improvement in chewing, aesthetics, and phonetic. It was concluded that the reestablishment of intermaxillary relations contributed to aesthetic, masticatory, and phonetic rehabilitation.

Abstract:
Object. The purpose of this article is to systematize art schools in relation to the definitions of choral genre and choral style. Methods. Traditional research methods: comparative analysis of scientific and musicological literature, analytical, historical, retrospective have been used. Results. Choral performance, as a part of the professional musical art, has evolved with the general principles of the development of the professional art in general. For many centuries certain norms have been developed in the choral performance practice. They corresponded to aesthetic ideas about the vocal sound quality. Approaches to the performance manner have been improved, the basic principles of professional training of choral singers have been approved. Of course, each national choral school has its own features in the performance style which reflects the temperament of the people, their character, traditions and other qualities. These subtle nuances that characterize the performance style are primarily associated with the peculiarities of the language of different peoples, its phonetics. For example, stable vocal traditions have been developed in the musical cultures of Italy, France, Germany, Bulgaria, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Russia and other countries. However, in the XXth century, the trend towards eclecticism, the synthesis of cultural traditions, their interaction were so strong that the features which previously sharply distinguished one national school from another largely smoothed out. Therefore, the basic principles of vocal skills, which are to develop proper singing breathing, sound production, sound production and other vocal techniques, remain common to any choir. Conclusions. The great artistic possibilities of a unique musical “instrument” – a choir have been in the center of composers’ attention for several centuries. In addition, the great variety of forms of the professional choral performance has made it one of the most common types of musical art.

Phonetic factors in literary language in general and poetic language in particular have an important role in expressing the symbolic or emotional content of linguistic signals. This expression is not expressed directly but evoked and perceived while the phonetic element functions in a specific discourse. The article presents phonetic elements in the construction of aesthetic signals in poems in the current high school textbook. These are the phonetic elements of a syllable: first consonant, rhymes and tones. These factors have a typical role in contributing to express the content value of the linguistic signals, thereby confirm the phonetic system's advantage in poetic language as a guide in performing the poetic function.

One salient feature of Robert Frost’s aesthetics was his sharp diff erentiation of the visual from the audile imagination. Frost (a former schoolteacher) had noticed the diff erence between visual and audile/phonetic readers, and considered the eye reader to be a ‘bad’ reader. The article examines those features of Frost’s own poetic practice which would have led him to consider the eye reader a bad reader, as well as the sorts of prosodic content an eye reader may be prone to miss. Having examined Frost’s aesthetic objections to the eye reader, the question is then posed: does Frost ever treat the “eye reader,” or oral versus visual predilections, thematically in his artistic writings?

Abstract:
The loss of gingival volume is a major challenge for dental surgeons with implant-supported fixed prosthesis manufactures, particularly from an aesthetics perspective in patients with a high smile line. Gingival tissue remodeling can help in papillae formation to avoid soft tissue surgery by reestablishing the appropriate shape and gingival contour of the tissues. This improves not only the aesthetics, but also the phonetics of the patient. This paper describes a clinical case of gingival conditioning obtained with interim implant-supported fixed partial dentures via incremental addition and adjustment of acrylic resin. The purpose of the gingival conditioning was to obtain improved aesthetics. Gingival conditioning by gradual pressure application is presented as an easy, non-traumatic technique that improves gingival aesthetics.

Abstract:
Hypodontia often leads to limited bone availability of the alveolar ridges. Oral rehabilitation of severe hypodontia patients is challenging. In this retrospective study, we evaluated the functional and aesthetic results after dental implants in hypodontia patients, corroborated by Albrektsson implant success criteria. Over a period of 15 years (2000–2015), a total of 43 patients were diagnosed with hypodontia and 165 dental implants were inserted. Six patients who received 10 implants were lost in the follow-up. We examined 155 implants in 37 patients between December 2015 and May 2017. Besides family history, patients evaluated the general satisfaction, functionality, and aesthetics of the implants. Study subjects were between 17 and 44 years old (mean ± SD: 21.4 ± 5.6). Hypodontia patients were missing one to five teeth (n = 28), whereas patients diagnosed with oligodontia (≥6 missing teeth, n = 9). In this study, 24 patients (64.9%) with hypodontia had a positive family history; the remaining 13 patients had no family member with hypodontia. The final follow-up time ranged between 5 and 189 months after implant placement. Orthodontic treatment was performed in 32 patients (86%) before implant placement. Rehabilitation resulted in 62% of the cases being treated with 1–2 implants and 38% treated with 3–15 implants. However, out of 155 inserted dental implants, 18 implants failed to meet Albrektsson criteria, under which two implants were removed. Only autografts were used for bone augmentation with 97 implants. More than two-thirds of the patients showed high general satisfaction and masticatory function (69.4%) as well as phonetic ability (80.6%). The aesthetic outcome was rated as excellent by 17 patients (47.2%). The findings emphasize the importance of interdisciplinary treatment of hypodontia, leading to a satisfactory, functional, and long-term fixed prosthodontics using dental implants.

Dental prostheses are very complex systems, heterogenous in structure, made up from various materials, with different physical properties. They have to satisfy high stress requirements as well as aesthetic challenges. The failures of dental prostheses lead to functional, aesthetic and phonetic disturbances which finally render the prosthetic treatment inefficient. OCT is a tomography imaging technology capable of producing high-resolution cross-sectional images of the internal architecture of materials and tissues. Abstract:
The article traces the orientation of ‘An Epiphany Tale’ (published in 1983) by George Mackay Brown on establishing and maintaining the contact with the reader through the development of multiple aesthetic and aural techniques that are rooted in the tradition of modernism, but expanding and transposing it to a considerable degree. Brown adopts a quasi-philosophical way of narrating a story that anticipates the contemporary existential, phenomenological and aesthetic theoretical insights. The aim of the discussion is to present the text’s semiotic patterns and relate them to the phonetic devices that contribute to what Garrett Stewart called the principle of evocalization. This helps to determine how Brown functionalizes the evoked soundscapes (as theorized by Schafer) and connects them with philosophical and anagogic orientation in reception so as to exploit the story’s thematic focus on a series of epiphanies that reveal the underlying semiotic and aesthetic aspects of ordinary existence. The short story reveals a variety of direct and indirect techniques that create an opposition between what is suggested of reality and what is demonstrated on the level of artistic, literary communication.

Abstract:
Immediate complete denture (ICD) is a mucosa-supported prosthesis manufactured before the removal of natural teeth and installed soon after their extraction. This paper aims to describe a clinical case of oral rehabilitation with upper ICD and lower removable partial denture (RPD). A 57-year-old female patient sought treatment with dissatisfaction with her aesthetics and mobility of the upper teeth. After anamnesis, intra and extra-oral examinations, radiographic examination and analysis of study models mounted on a semi-adjustable articulator, periodontal pockets were found in the upper teeth and extensive bone loss. So, upper tooth extraction, superior ICD and lower RPD were indicated as treatment. For ICD preparation, anatomical and functional moldings were made, made up of orientation and intermaxillary relationship plans for the assembly of the semi-djustable articulator models. The remaining upper teeth were removed from the model for assembly of the artificial teeth and the ICD was polymerized and polished. The lower RPD was made following the standard steps. After dentures manufacturing, the surgery for upper tooth extraction was performed and prostheses installed immediately after surgery. The results demonstrated that the performed treatment provided aesthetic, phonetic, and functional restoration to the patient avoiding her to undergo a period of edentulism. It was concluded that ICD is a good indication for prosthetic rehabilitation of patients with advanced periodontitis, whose planning is the exodontia of all the teeth of an arch.

Abstract:
Introduction: Edentulism is considered a debilitating condition with aging in which several dental and non-dental factors play a vital role in the success of prosthodontic treatment. Patient satisfaction is an important non-dental component. The dentist should aim for functional rehabilitation by satisfying the patient medically, functionally, and psychologically. Patient satisfaction depends on two factors: patient factor and dentist factor. From the patient’s view, satisfaction is guided by improved quality with factors like eating, easy communication, comfort, social life, economic status, and vocational opportunities. From dentist’s view, treatment options, treatment cost etc. affects the patient’s satisfaction. Materials and Methods: Experimental study conducted in Department of Prosthodontics, College of Medical Sciences, Bharatpur in patients receiving complete denture by convenience sampling in six months duration in sixty-five samples. Questionnaires regarding patient’s expectations and satisfaction in terms of retention, mastication, phonetics, esthetics, and comfort were used in both 1st-time denture wearer and existing denture wearer was recorded. Grading was rated with Visual Analog Scale (VAS) from 0 to 10 using the optimum cutoff values. Data were recorded in SPSS 21 and analyzed. Results: Independent t-test was carried out for expectation showing a statistically significant difference between retention, mastication, aesthetics, phonetics, comfort, and denture status with p value 0.036, 0.00, 0.001, 0.003, and 0.013 respectively. Statistically, a significant difference was found for satisfaction between aesthetics and denture status with a p-value of 0.01. Conclusions: Expectation and satisfaction were found to be more in first-time denture wearers than existing denture wearers. Experiences obtained beforehand with complete dentures could influence patient expectations and satisfaction.

Abstract:
Gingival recessions are a highly prevalent issue that is often associated with interproximal tissue deficiency. An intervention in these scenarios is of extreme importance since these defects can lead to aesthetic, phonetic and other dental problems. Unfortunately, the treatment of advanced gingival recessions is a major challenge in periodontics because of its unpredictability. In such cases, the use of injectable fillings, connective tissue grafts or bone grafts for vertical regeneration in interproximal area presents limited results. Considering that, this special report reviewed the possible use of additively manufactured scaffolds as a therapeutic option. A 3D-printed personalized therapy is expected to simplify the regeneration of interproximal area, enabling bone regeneration, new papilla formation and root coverage.

Abstract:
Removable prosthesis is considered as a device with therapeutic, rehab and prophylactic functions, which allows to improve the quality of life of the dentist. Its use is always aimed at solving three problems: restoration of chewing; restoration of pronunciation of sounds; restoration of aesthetic norms of a person. Fixation of the complete removable denture depends on the anatomical retention, which is determined by the area and form of the prosthetic bed; from adhesion (capillary forces, viscosity of saliva) and from the functional suction of the prosthesis. For the stabilization of prostheses, the contour of the alveolar appendix and the production of artificial teeth are of special importance. Therefore, a complete removable denture is a complex design, which always has a single plan of construction (basis and artificial teeth), but in each case is made taking into account the individual characteristics of the patient's body. Adaptation to a complete removable denture is a multi-layered process. Its inalienable component is neuro-reflex mechanisms. From these positions, the habit of prosthetics is explained by the development of cortical inhibition, which leads to the disappearance of the feeling of a foreign subject in the oral cavity. These changes occur on the basis of the general law, according to which repeatedly the stimulus becomes a brake agent. Based on masticatography, it has been established that addiction to prosthetics is associated with the appearance, perfection and consolidation of new conditioned motor reflexes. An important component of the adaptation process in patients with prosthetics is psychological adaptation. It is believed that it represents the sum of complex conditioned-reflex responses of the patient, which belong to the sphere of human emotions and determine the degree of satisfaction with dentures. The significance of psychological factors in the development of adaptation to prosthetics stimulates the creation of new and improved existing methods for assessing the psycho-emotional state of orthopedic dental patients. According to the results of these methods, high personal anxiety is the main factor that causes the development of psycho-emotional stress during orthopedic treatment. There is also a speech adaptation, which is the result of the interaction of the active organs of the articulation apparatus with dentures. The appearance of improper pronunciation of sounds is considered as a result of motor and sensory disorders of the central or peripheral nature: changes in the structure of the articulation apparatus and violations of muscle inertia involved in articulation; reduction of peripheral hearing and violations of the auditory perception of the central character. Wrong pronunciation is most often observed in groups of whistling, silent sounds, [p], [l], which are characterized by complexity of sounding and, accordingly, the complexity of articulation work. A certain range of works is devoted to methods of studying pronunciation of sounds from different points of view: physical (acoustic), anatomical-physiological and linguistic. Detection of defects of articulation was done by listening. In a number of studies the study of violations of articulation of sounds was carried out using anatomical-physiological and acoustic characteristics with the help of apparatus. Modern methods of speech research are based on listening, audiometry and spectral analysis of sound. Consequently, the features of rehabilitation of toothless patients with the help of a complete removable denture are widely covered in the literature. The concept of pathogenesis of violations with full or partial adentia and about mechanisms of their overcoming with the help of dentures is deepened. However, until now, the literature remains almost uninvolved into the consideration of phonetic aspects as in the analysis of anatomical and physiological features of the toothless mouth during preparation for prosthetics, and at different stages of the use of dentures.

Abstract:
Cheng 誠 (sincerity) is one of the primary concepts in the Confucian tradition as well as Chinese intellectual history. Its rich implications involve dimensions of religion, ritual, folk belief, ethics, psychology, cosmology, metaphysics, aesthetics, and literature. In the Confucian classics, cheng is described as the “Dao of heaven”; humans through cultivation can reach the mysterious state of “the utmost sincerity functioning as spirits” and thus can “assist the transforming and generating power of heaven and earth.” Because of cheng’s rich, sacred, and mysterious implications, it has been regarded as the most difficult and perplexing of Chinese concepts. Scholars have long studied cheng mainly from the perspective of philosophy to analyze its ideological conceptions in the Confucian classics, resulting in fruitful and inspiring interpretations. However, because they have not traced the origin of cheng to its rich religious, ritual, and literary sources, their interpretations have been unable to answer the question: why is cheng covered with such a mysterious veil? In recent decades, some scholars have started exploring cheng’s relationship with ancient religious beliefs and rituals, but so far a comprehensive examination of the religious-ritual origin of this significant concept remains lacking. To discover cheng’s mysterious origins, we must apply a synthetic approach of etymological, religious, philosophical, and literary studies. Drawing upon both transmitted and excavated texts, this essay first analyzes the graphic-phonetic structure and semantic implications of the character cheng 成 (completion), which was the character cheng’s 誠 early form. It then examines the rich meanings implied in both characters related to sacrificial-divinatory rituals, including invoking the spirits with sincere writings, emotions, and oblations, in order to seduce them to descend and enjoy the offerings, as well as perfectively completing the human-spirit communication. Finally, the essay discusses how those religious beliefs and ritual ceremonies evolved into Confucian ethical values and aesthetic concepts, thus lifting the mysterious veil from cheng.

Abstract:
The paper deals with the strategies of foregrounding and defamiliarization as the techniques of literary creativity. The strategy of foregrounding, which can be achieved either via deviation or parallelism, is typically conceived as the deviation from daily language, and is closely associated with novelty and aesthetic appreciation. Whereas defamiliarization is viewed as the technique focusing on the unusual setting, or unexpected angle of vision to make it foregrounded. After the survey of different views of the above-mentioned strategies, an attempt is made to verify that both strategies are used to indicate the turning points in the story. However, in contradistinction to discourse markers, they operate indirectly in literary discourse, creating stylistic effects on the phonetic, grammatical, or semantic levels. The results of the analysis conducted on the basis of short stories by English-speaking authors will be presented in order to demonstrate that both techniques are mostly applied to indicate conflict or complication in the story.

Abstract:
Introduction: Ectopic eruption, manifesting as an aberration in the normal path of eruption of a tooth, can adversely impact facial aesthetics, phonetics and psychosocial development. Description: This case series describes the orthodontic management of two adolescent patients with different clinical presentations of ectopically erupted maxillary central incisors secondary to trauma during the primary dentition period. The therapy primarily included periodontal soft-tissue surgery accompanied by orthodontic traction to align the ectopic incisors. Frenectomy was performed in one patient and surgical excision of a hypertrophied pseudo-pouch in the second patient. A modified maxillary lip bumper was used concomitantly for management of associated soft-tissue trauma, thus facilitating healing and aiding orthodontic traction. Results: Appropriately planned interdisciplinary management involving the interim use of a modified lip bumper allowed proper alignment of the ectopically positioned incisors with a stable outcome at three-year follow-up. Conclusion: Fixed orthodontic therapy with concurrent use of modified maxillary lip bumper is an effective approach to treat incisors erupted ectopically in relation to the upper lip and frenum.

Abstract:
This article examines the development of the translation manner of Fyodor Sologub. The study of the poet’s archive makes it possible to highlight a number of preparatory materials for Sologub’s translations from Paul Verlaine, in particular, interlinear translations. Sologub’s experiments with interlinear translations, which in his case represent a hybrid genre (interlinear translations that include a large number of different dictionary variants of words) are of great importance for the theory, history, and practice of literary translation. Using specific examples, the essay demonstrates that Sologub worked not just with the original text, traditional interlinear translation, and written out words. He employed his “expanded” interlinear translation where he could freely navigate, choose and rearrange words, try their “sound” while seeking to keep their meaning. The authors argue that Sologub’s translating method consisted in selecting Russian words on the basis of the interlinear translation that not only conveyed the original but also made it possible to create a new lexical, grammatical, metric, phonetic, and emotional unity close to the translator’s worldview mindset and aesthetic views.

Abstract:
Dental agenesis consists of an anomaly characterized by the numerical reduction of dental elements and, according to the number of missing teeth, it may receive other names, such as hypodontia, oligodontia, anodontia or congenital absence. Several treatments may be recommended depending on the patient's needs and conditions, such as surgery for the installation of implants and fixed prostheses, and early diagnosis is one of the key parts for proper treatment. The rehabilitation of agenesis of the upper lateral incisor is a great challenge for the professional since several factors can influence the aesthetic result and, in addition, the absence of the dental element can bring unbalance of the occlusion and phonetic problems. It is essential to carry out an adequate planning and a treatment plan with multidisciplinary action so that the final result is effective and meets the expectations of each patient. The present study aimed to report a clinical case of dental agenesis of the upper lateral incisor, where the treatment of choice was the installation of an implant-supported prosthesis and filling of the buccal bone plate with biomaterial.

Abstract:
This paper assumes that the literary work of art is a "stratified system of norms", and that the description of each stratum may require a different kind of logic. One of the main problems is the meaningful integration of these descriptions. A speech sound may be described on an acoustic, a phonetic and a phonemic level; normally, its acoustic description is irrelevant to its linguistic or poetic significance. However, in certain circumstances, the acoustic description may account for the emotional quality of the speech sound, may yield insight into the rhythmic structure of a poem (or just of a performance thereof), etc. Furthermore, pieces of poetry may be used to illustrate psychological theories about the aesthetic event; or psychological theories may be used to yield insight into the aesthetic nature of pieces of poetry. The paper focuses on the methodological issues involved in foregrounding the possible aesthetic significance of the transitions from one level of description to another. In doing this, it attempts to carefully navigate between two theoretical extremes: a reductionist view of literary theory according to which all the "special sciences " can be reduced to "more basic sciences" and, eventually, to physics; and the one formulated by Wellek and Warren (1956:135) as follows: "The psychology of the reader, however interesting in itself and useful for pedagogical purposes, will always remain outside the object of literary study [...] it must be unrelated either to the structure or the quality of a poem ". The middle course here proposed relies on "the principle of marginal control", that is, "the control exercised by the organizational principle of a higher level on the particulars forming its lower level" (Polânyi, 1967: 40). Paraphrasing Polânyi, the principles of literature may be said to govern the boundary conditions of a cognitive system—a set of conditions that is explicitly left undetermined by the laws of lower processes — physical, cognitive, and linguistic. If one knows more about these "lower" processes, one may get a better understanding of the principles of literature that govern those boundary conditions. It is claimed that in this way Cognitive Poetics is capable of discerning and explaining significant literary phenomena which present insurmountable difficulties to other approaches.

Abstract:
Surrealism, the XX century literature and art movement, inspired an impressive number of scientific research regarding different aspects of the phenomenon. This paper studies surrealism as a type of artistic thinking which raised the role of the unconscious in poetry. It focuses on the core of surrealist aesthetics – an automatic image, which allowed the poets to study human irrational states, such as dreams. Focusing on the themes of dreams and dream-like narrations, surrealists created poetry which was formed by specific images. An automatic image coming directly from one’s unconscious mind was expected to reveal new knowledge about the world and people. But as the poet ’functions’ only as a conductor of the unconscious images, it is the reader who has to create meanings in this kind of poetry. The paper regards surrealism in terms of a lingvo-poetic experiment and analyzes the linguistic characteristics of the automatic texts in the early poetic collection of David Gascoyne (1916–2001). It outlines the peculiarities of the British poet’s techniques which are built upon French surrealist concepts and theories and examines phonetic, semantic and syntactic aspects of his poetry. David Gascoyne’s lyrics demonstrates the poet’s commitment to the French version of surrealism, his interest in the unconscious and dream-like narration. The streams of arbitrary visual images, deep emotionality, the artistic use of the word, semantic increments of meaning make Gascoigne’s texts open to interpretation. And though the poet actually refers visual effects (we rather see dreams), specific dream-like patterns are created not only by lexical, but also by phonetic repetitions, via intonation in which lexemes acquire a new semantic load.

Abstract:
The article deals with the problems of functioning of the state language in advertising texts as a social phenomenon that affects the development of language, forming moral and spiritual values among the younger generation. The penetration of advertising slogans into the speech of recipients is noted, which confirms the role of advertising influence on the development and functioning of the language. The Kazakh language as a state language tends to expand the boundaries of functioning, as with the adoption of the law "on advertising" there was a tendency of growth of broadcasting of advertising on television channels, on radio, on billboards, in ads in the Kazakh language. Advertising carries aesthetic and cultural content, and is an indicator of the development of language, a means of introducing new words and expressions, by testing their viability in everyday life. Linguists note the presence of lexical, phonetic, grammatical and syntactic errors in advertising texts in the Kazakh language. S. Asanbayeva, G. Soltanbekova, T. Tilegenov, M. Koishygulov, D. Kozhambetov, S. Asylbekov believe that as a result of such facts in advertising in the Kazakh language is defective ("zharymzhanzharnama").

Abstract:
The destruction of the tooth crown should be regarded as the cause leading over time to the disruption of the morphofunctional unity of the dentition and pathological condition of the entire dentoalveolar system. Untimely treatment of defects of hard tooth tissues leads to functional disorganization of the dentoalveolar system. The most eliminated defects are those of crowns of teeth determining the quality of aesthetics, phonetics, functions of biting and chewing. The destruction of the tooth crowns, which do not cause significant disruption of the above functions, are painless and almost asymptomatic. In such cases, deformation of the dentition and occlusion, dysfunction of masticatory muscles and temporomandibular joints as well as the development of pathological changes in periodontium occur slowly. Of great importance are the early diagnosis of pathological reconstruction of dentoalveolar system and the knowledge of pathogenesis of possible complications after the extraction of the teeth that determine the indications for prophylactic orthopedic dental treatment. The article presents a clinical case of restoration of destructed tooth crown 3.6 complicated by changes in bifurcation area. The patient underwent coronary-radicular separation with the use of cast metal cores, which allowed restoration of the sufficient size of the stump, function and anatomical shape of the tooth and hence the unity of dental arch.

Abstract:
Speech is not only directly involved in the creation of human mental activity, but also forms its basis. Students also acquire knowledge of foreign objects and events by mastering perfect speech. Schooling has a special role to play in increasing students' opportunities and resources for speech development. The concept of speech development should be implemented in four directions: 1. To enrich the vocabulary of students; 2. To develop the habits of students; 3. To develop students' communication skills; 4. To develop students' reading skills. The model of the teacher plays an important role in the development of students' speech. In Azerbaijani language and literature classes, the teacher's speech (expressive reading, narration, report, speech, dialogue, etc.) has a strong impact on students. Orthoepic requirements must be taken into account during speech development. These requirements bring naturalness, fluidity, vitality to speech, enhance its aesthetic effect and help to easily grasp the idea. The main unit of speech is considered to be the sentence. Therefore, it is important to pay special attention to the development of students' skills of correct sentence construction. Sentence-building skills are practiced from the first grade, and these skills are developed and strengthened as students move from class to class. Abstract:
Learning Chinese through the Writing Gesture For Westerners, the first access to Chinese writing is through a visual and notional approach. We learn to recognize the most common shapes of characters, to understand their genesis from natural objects to images and signs and to grasp their meaning. Some of these forms are used to mark semantic elements; others mark phonetic elements; while other forms have been added over the centuries for graphic purposes. In all cases, these forms offer a visual aspect. My presentation analyzes the history and structure of Chinese writing to demonstrate that the aesthetic aspects of the writing system must also be considered in a learning environment to fully grasp the language. I will explore the transition from a visual to an aesthetic and gestural approach of learning to address how Chinese calligraphy teaching in language classes serves not only as an important insight into the cultural aspect of Chinese civilization but as a tool to master the written language.
