In the present study, a total of 80 sample materials were used (30 powdered baby formulas, 25 jarred baby foods, and 25 cereal-based products). The isolation of Bacillus cereus from the samples was performed with the classical culture technique. The isolates were confirmed as B. cereus with PCR targeting the hemolysin gene. Emetic (ces) and diarrheal toxin genes (nhe, hbl, cytK) were detected by multiplex PCR in confirmed isolates.
 As a result of the study, 62.5% (50/80) of the samples were found to be contaminated with B. cereus. B. cereus could not be detected in jarred baby foods. B.

Introdução: A criptococose é uma infecção fúngica de alta incidência mundial que acomete principalmente indivíduos portadores do vírus HIV. Anualmente ocorrem aproximadamente 25.000 casos e 1.800 mortes. Embora seja uma doença oportunista, pacientes não-HIV são infectados e o diagnóstico tardio é um fator negativo no prognóstico clínico. Abstract:
ได้ทำการศึกษาโรคมะเร็งเม็ดเลือดขาดจากตัวอย่างเลือดโคนมอายุมากกว่า 3 ปี จำนวน 80 ตัว โดยตรวจทางซีรั่มวิทยาวิธี Agar Gel Immunodiffusion Test (AGID) พบว่าโคนมเป็นมะเร็งเม็ดเลือดขาดโดยให้ผลบวกต่อ AGID คิดเป็นร้อยละ 22.50 (18/80) โคนมกลุ่มที่ศึกษาเป็นโรคมะเร็งเม็ดเลือดขาวชนิดไม่แสดงอาการของโรค ได้ติดตามศึกษาทางโลหิตวิทยาจำนวนเม็ดเลือดขาวทั้งหมด และลิมโฟไซต์ เป็นเวลา 6 เดือนในกลุ่มโคนมเป็นโรค (5 ตัว) และโคปกติ (4 ตัว) พบว่าค่าทางโลหิตวิทยาทั้งสองกลุ่มอยู่ในเกณฑ์ปกติ และไม่เปลี่ยนแปลงอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (P<0.05) ลักษณะของเม็ดเลือดขาดแยกชนิดจากฟิล์มเลือดบาง และเม็ดเลือดขาดแยกชั้นของโคนมเป็นโรค

Abstract:
จากการเก็บตัวอย่างดินจากหลายบริเวณจำนวน 25 ตัวอย่าง พบว่า แยกเชื้อที่มีลักษณะโคโลนีชื้น สีค้ำด้วย 38 สายพันธุ์ นำเชื้อที่แยกได้มาทดสอบความสามารถในการสร้างสารปฏิชีวนะด้วยวิธี agar disc diffusion พบว่าเชื้อทั้ง 38 สายพันธุ์มความสามารถในการยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรียแกรมบวก คือ S. aureus ATCC 25923 และ B. subtilis ATCC 6633 แต่มีผลเพียงเล็กน้อยในการยับยั้งเชื้อแบคทีเรียแกรมลบ คือ E. coli ATCC 25922 จากการศึกษาลักษณะทางสัณฐานวิทยาพบว่าเชื้อทั้งหมด จัดอยู่ในสกุล Micromonospora นำเชื้อคัดเลือกที่ให้ผลดีต่อการยับยั้งเชื้อทดสอบ ได้แก่ สายพันธุ์ JSM 5-1, JSM 1-3 และ A-25 มาศึกษาการสร้างสารปฏิชีวินะในอาหารเหล

This research was aimed to develop an active film from chitosan film incorporated with green tea extract to enhance antioxidant and antimicrobial properties in order to be used for food shelf life extension.
