Abstract:
The present work is focused on project management and the relationship of this discipline to agile approaches. The aim was to design a generic agile project management methodolo-gy, which is based on Agile values and attitudes. Although the proposed methodology is mainly based on agile software development methodologies, it is also applicable to any type of project. The secondary objective was to propose possible ways of using this generic agile project management methodology in teaching 4IT414 - ICT Project Management, including the creation of documents to support this application. The work is divided into theoretical and practical. First the author defined the basic terms and knowledge of project management and subsequent-them, then also agile approaches and methodologies. In the practical part was introduced generic methodology for agile pro-ject management and proposed a possible way of involving the teaching methodology, including the design documents to serve. The objectives were met. Work can serve students agile approaches and project management, their teachers and the general public. The proposed methodology may be used for studies and real environments in various companies and institutions.

Abstract:
Only a small number of projects of information system development succeed. Agile methodologies have contributed to a higher level of success of specific projects developed by small teams. Nevertheless, most IT companies still refuse this approach with large-scale projects. This paper comments on the conditions that must be fulfilled for agile adoption, analyzes the limitation of such processes, and describes the approaches for the solutions of such problems with the focus on projects in a complex environment. By means of a case study, the next part of the paper shows the advantages of adopting an agile approach in a real project in a complex environment, which is in conflict with the so far presented limitations of this methodology. The project was evaluated as a success, primary, due to the implementation of the agile methodology during the development phase. This implementation helped meet all the project deadlines, accelerate bug-fixing, and especially deliver functionalities which brought an additional value to the customer. Based on the findings of the case study, the procedures and practices extending the chosen agile methodology are defined. Such procedures and practices can be used in other projects in complex environments in the future. Thus, the paper shows more options for the use of these methodologies, which may help its wider use in the future and hence increasing the success of projects focused on the development of information systems. Such situation would lead to an effective interconnectedness of ICT and business strategies, especially due to the flexible delivery of currently needed ICT services.

Abstract:
Development of web applications is closely associated with testing. This master's thesis deals with the domain of testing. The goal of this thesis is to design a methodology of testing of web applications for small software company. The designed methodology results from OpenUP methodology and author's work experience. First, the theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to testing, history of testing and introduces several approaches to testing. Next, the theoretical part focuses on web applications and its specifics in light of testing. In view of the fact that the designed methodology is inspired by OpenUP methodology, this methodology including its basic principles and components is introduced in next separate chapter. The largest chapter describes the designed methodology of testing of web applications and its basic components: roles, activities and artifacts. Also errors and their lifecycles are examined. The thesis is concluded by a short muse upon the aspects of the implementation of the designed methodology in the environment of small company.

Abstract:
The thesis focuses on concrete application of the selected agile methodologies on the designed new software development methodology in the company Firma 2.0. The theoretical section briefly characterizes agile methodologies in general and then focuses on their representative sample, and thus Scrum, Kanban, SAFe and LeSS and the DevOps movement, which build a framework for the practical section. The selected components, which are used in the second part, are emphasized. Importantly, all of the methodologies are based on the agile manifesto and thanks to that are mutually combinable. The practical section introduces the company Firmy 2.0 together with its existing software development methodology, which is currently insufficient. The shortages are described as bottlenecks of the methodology itself as well as issues of process management of the company. The newly designed software methodology eliminates those drawbacks and integrates new elements and terminology in order to better correspond with the current processes in the company. The main contribution of the thesis is seen in the new design of software development methodology for a small company, which can also be potentially used outside of the company Firma 2.0, associated with a sound theoretical background.
