In face of the problem of difficulty in traditional aging fuzzy reliability solving, a deep research is conducted on the aging fuzzy reliability calculation method of components and systems based on discrete-time condition. On the basis of aging fuzzy reliability calculation, the concept of time axis division and fuzzy theory operating rules are introduced. The degree of reliability calculation method of aging fuzzy reliability of individual component and system under the condition of discrete-time is also deduced, and avoid the integral solving problems when the ageing fuzzy reliability of co

The microstructure and mechanical properties of the spray deposited alloy at various aging conditions (T6, T73 and RRA treatment) were studied using high-resolution electron microscopy, selected area diffraction, and tensile tests. The results indicate that the two types of GP zones, GPI and GPII zones are major precipitates for the alloy under peak-aged condition. The peak UTS and YS values achieved at an ageing temperature of 120 °C was 818 MPa and 793 MPa. Under two-step aging condi

The difference of the microhardness between the matrix and the second phase in as-cast condition is larger than that in T6 aging condition, because the aluminum-zinc-magnesium (poor) phase existed i

Review question / Objective: To investigate the prevalence of postoperative delirium (POD) or postoperative cognitive dysfunction (POCD) between regional and general anesthesia in older patients undergoing hip fracture surgery. Condition being studied: About 1.6 million people suffer hip fractures each year globally1. The risk of hip fracture-related postoperative mortality within 30 days approximately was 8.2% in December 2020, up 1.5% from December 2016. Across the world, the aging population is growing, and a significant number of elderly patients are undergoing various kinds of orthopedic

Review question / Objective: The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of physical activity (i.e., type of exercise, FITT criteria, control group, other interventions) on abdominal obesity and inflammatory response in elderly? The study method was a randomized controlled trial. Condition being studied: An increasing number of studies have demonstrated that chronic inflammation is closely associated with the initiation and progression of a broad range of age-related diseases, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, diabetes, Alzheimer’s disease, and other neurodegenerative diseases a

Abstract:
Introduction: aging is a multifactorial process that affects both the functionality and aesthetics of the body, including the skin, influenced by intrinsic (genetic) and extrinsic (environmental) factors. Fillers, especially those based on hyaluronic acid (HA), are the most preferred in aesthetic procedures due to their efficacy, safety, and ease of use. In the midface, the most visible signs of aging, such as wrinkles and furrows, are often treated with cross-linked HA (CHA), recognized worldwide for its ability to correct folds and restore volume. Its resorption depends on time and individua

Condition being studied: Vascular dementia is the second most common cause of dementia and a major health concern worldwide, only after to Alzheimer's disease. As the increasing aging of the global population, the number of vascular dementia patients is expected to increase year by year, which will bring great economic burden to all countries in the world. In recent years, more and more published RCT studies have shown that butylphthalide can fur

The objective of the project was to validate existing pipeline integrity prediction models through field testing multiple pipelines, validate the performance of in-line instrumentation through smart pig runs, and finally, to assess the actual integrity of aging damaged and defective pipelines. The objectives were accomplished by the testing of aging out-of-service lines using "smart pigs", followed by hydrotesting of the lines to failure, recovery of the failed sections, and determination of the pipeline characteristics in the vicinity of the failed sections (failure analysis).
