Full textThis work is a part of the research project SUPERSWITCH in which alternatives solutions to the IGBT, are investigated. This solution was used IGBT in power converters in the 600-1200 V breakdown voltage range. The new MOSFET structures based on the super-junction, such as the DT-SJMOSFET and its "Deep Trench Termination", is proposed as an alternative to IGBT. In this context, this thesis focuses on the robustness characterization of the DT2 termination adapted to a planar diode. After a state of the art on unidirectional voltage power components, the power components termination, and power modules reliability, a test vehicle has been designed in order to carry out different accelerated ageing tests and electrical monitoring. The reliability of DT2 termination was evaluated by experimental tests and numerical simulations. An innovative modeling methodology has been proposed. Finally, new structures have been proposed to limit the delamination failure mechanisms and interface charges problems highlighted in this thesis

The trend of aging population incresing has become globalization today. 2011,the first year of an era of retiring from job coming by the baby boomer after world war Ⅱ.Those days babies had been 65 years old since then. Futhermore, the trend of fewer children causes an indirect effect to put an up-going construction on aging population;this ,also, helps the in- creasing. The development like this will certainly bring a very wide and important influence to the global society. It means that the focus of the global society will hereafter transform from demography, economic sci-ence, sociology, and the discussions on the policy of social wellfare, food, energy etc. into the silver caring and silver economics. This study collects datas and references by the way of taking individual interviews. The targets are Hotel managers and scholars related to the activities of wellness tourism in Taiwan. Three of them are the managers from marked and representative Hotel in the leisure Hotel field;two of them are the teachers from University Dining and Hotel management Depart-ment in midland Taiwan, and one of the scholars owns rich experiences in practical Dining and Hotel management. Through the depth of interviews there are elementary conclusions made as thus: Due to the influence of the baby boom, the population of Taiwan is also speedly getting aging under the trend of aging globalization. It had become a common sence among those interview targets. However,it seems that most managers are still stand passive way on planning wellness tourism market even facing that great opportunity brought by the needs of agings and their consuming power;Meanwhile, the whole surroundings of the market also lies without aggressive power to meet the trend. This study offers a few proposals to meet the conclusions above. Being of the limitations,it is a pity that proposals cover limited opinions. The researcher in the future are suggested to make more and further discussions with the related business managers and scholars domestic and inter- national,as well as the policy makers. Hoping that may help the related study advanced, and may offer more ideas to the aging travelers and the Hotel managers. So that the industry side, government side, and school side can get union and make more contributions to serve the aging people,to help economics developing and benefit our society.

As medical technology advanced, the people of Taiwan for nearly a decade increase in average life expectancy of 2.31 years as of 2011 has reached 79.16 years, the data of Executive Yuan shows that Taiwanese society will be into "aging society" in 2017, into "super-aged society" in 2026. First of all, as the postwar baby boom leave the labor market, it will point out the future of elderly care "survival" and "long-term care". Secondly, the popularity of the concept of investment and aging trends, will let people use the "insurance" to transfer personal survival risk to the life insurance companies. However, the 2008 financial tsunami has caused market interest rates remain at low level, the life insurance industry in a very low interest rates, deterioration in the investment environment, faced with the decline in value of investment losses, asset impairment and asset return on investment rate and other issues, this study by collecting life insurance companies, underwriting, marketing, management, RBC, risk management, aging and long-term care and other related information, to explore the life insurance companies in the aging trend of the future insurance products and rate structures will be how to develop? Marketing strategies need to how to respond? How the life insurance funds and the investment strategies of RBC system will be change? And how to take into account the underwriting profit and risk providing future business policy of the life insurance business, Provide to the future of Life insurance business development advice, as the objectives and directions of the reference of the sustainable management of the life insurance industry.

With advances in medical technology and environmental health factors changes, that caused human longevity. By the impact of social change, the birth rate and marriage rate declined, aggravates the aging and low fertility trend. According to statistics, until 2012 of the population aged over 65 has more than 260 million people and aging will be serious. Many of the problems caused by an aging population, it will influence economic development, so several bills were enacted by the government to solve these problems, but these bills will solve only a fraction of that. Therefore, people need to buy the Commercial Insurance in order to remain at the same level of life in retirement. In 1994 the World Bank advocates Three-Pillar Model, one is mandatory publicly managed pillar, one is mandatory privately managed pillar and the other one is voluntary saving pillar. The issue of population aging has been paid more attention in recent years. According to a survey by Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRT), the population aged 65 and over in Taiwan will be more than twenty percent of the whole population in 2025, indicating the fact that our society will become the so-called "Super-Aging Society" (Industrial Technology Research Institute, 2015). The statistics show the major problems that the society is going to face. However, this study argues that the infrastructures in Taiwan are unable to cope with this phenomenon, especially in the respect of open space. Since 1990, the Government of Taiwan has promoted “Act for Promotion of Private Participation in Infrastructure Projects” to encourage the civic institutions to devote themselves to public constructions, hoping to establish civic sports centers or green space through private funds for the purpose to enhance the demand and usage of outdoor space. Nonetheless, the excessive emphasis of the middle- and young-aged people as the major users underestimates the real demands of the elderly; therefore, the designs of most facilities are similar and not effective to meet the requirements of the elderly today, not to mention the ways to cater to the future need. Taking New Taipei City Xin Zhuang Stadium as the core for discussion, this study aims to investigate the current status of the site in terms of participatory observation, field notes and affordance to find out the public’s actual needs for open space, so as to review the design planning as well as the suitability of the open space.

The increasing average life expectancy found in recent decades contributed to the problem of the aging population. Current evidence points to changes in variable degree of the different components of the immune system. Innate immunity has become less effective in the elderly due to changes found in the number and function of its effector cells, including neutrophils, natural killer cells and dendritic cells. In acquired immunity there were also found changes in the functionof B cells, but there was not a significant change in their number with aging. T cells are particularly affected by immunosenescence and adjustments were identified both in the number and function of the most studied subpopulations. Among these, regulatory T cells are given particular attention because they appear to be potential therapeutic targets for diseases such as cancer. Thymus atrophy is one factor considered as promotor of T cell senescence, as it contributes to reduced efficacy of cellular immunity against antigens, to the occurrence of autoimmune phenomena and to the reduction of the number of naïve T cells. It is thought that the changes arising from immunosenescence may partly explain the increased incidence of certain age-related diseases and greater susceptibility to infection, cancer, autoimmune phenomena and a lower response to vaccination. The better understanding of the immune system aging processes may allow the development of effective preventive methods and therapeutic approaches to age-related diseases. In recent years several strategies have been developed in order to prevent or minimize the effects of immunosenescence, however most had no significant clinical applicability. These consist in the administration of recombinant cytokines, monoclonal antibodies, hormonal methods, antioxidants as well as dietary changes and regular physical exercise, in order to promote healthy aging and minimize the morbidity and mortality of the elderly.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is one of most prevalent progressive neurodegenerative disease. It is believed that the main pathology of AD is given rise by accumulated neuronal plaques and tangle formations in the brain. Previous studies indicated that abnormally in the genes APP, PSEN1, PSEN2, and APOE are high risk factors to AD. In spite of much research efforts the underlying pathophysiology of AD remains unclear. Here, our goal is to gain new insight into possible genetic causes of AG and brain region-specific AD. We used a novel approach, Gene Selection by Trend of disease Progression (GSToP), to construct state-specific gene-gene interaction networks, and to identify hub genes and significant AG and AD related changes in pathways in which specific hub genes play major roles. We used for our study six sets of publically available microarray dataset: one set from brains tissues of people of a wide range of ages not known to have AD or similar brain disorders, and five sets from tissues of five brain regions – entorhinal cortex, hippocampus, medial temporal gyrus, posterior cingulate, and superior frontal gyrus – of AD patients and controls. We use the method of trend of disease progression for our study. We used GSToP to construct two – experiment(exp) and control – gene-gene interaction networks (GGINs) for each dataset, identified as hub genes those whose connectivities underwent significant changes in the two networks, and then used the sub-GGINs connected to these hub genes to identify KEGG pathways whose enrichments in experiment and control were significantly different. There was significant difference between the top-10 hub genes for AG and for AD, as well among the top-10 hub genes for specific AD regions. Known AG target genes found in the top-10 AG hub genes include EP300, MDM2, HSPA8, and EGFR, and known AD target genes separately found in top-10 AD hub genes include GAPDH (in EC and PC), APP (PC), and TUBB (SFG). Many significantly enriched pathways were identified for AG and AD. The relationship between the set of enriched pathways found for AG and those for region-specific AD was heterogenic. Pathways found for AG include Wnt signaling pathway (hsa04310) and ubiquitin mediated proteolysis (hsa04120). Pathways found for AD in at least two brain regions include Alzheimer’s disease (hsa05010), pathogenic Escherichia coli infection (hsa0130), Fc gamma R-mediated pathagocytosis (hsa04666), proteasome (hsa03050), and neurotrophin signaling pathway (hsa04722).
