In this paper that draws from ethnographic research with a youth antiauthoritarian community in Cyprus and their long-term occupation of a city square, I provide a broader theorization of this multi-semantic concept that has hitherto been missing from accounts on stasis commonly found in literature on the squares movement(s). A devoted Christian abolitionist who participated in antislavery activities prior to the Civil War, the Reverend Mister Samuel Ringgold Ward resisted oppression through his rhetoric of Assimilated Christology. That rhetoric consisted of uniting God, Christ, and political activism into one force to achieve societal regeneration. When Ward protested against slavery he utilized the association language of Chaim Perelman and the agitative rhetoric of Mary McEdwards. In the first set of experiments a cylindrical vessel equipped with two types of hydrofoil and a hyperboloid impeller or their combinations were used. Effects of the width and location of a flow disturbing circular plate, installed at a vertical tube surface, on nucleate pool boiling heat transfer of water at atmospheric pressure have been investigated experimentally. Through the tests, changes in the degree of intensity of liquid agitation have been analyzed. The plate changes the fluid flow around the tube as well as heat transfer coefficients on the tube surface. This paper investigates heat transfer enhancement of an air-cooled plate-fin heat sink by introducing actively-driven agitating plates within its channels. The investigation was computationally conducted with a single actuated plate in a single channel constructed as two fin wall surfaces and one fin base surface. As air flows through the channel, the plate is vibrated transversely to agitate the channel flow and thereby enhance heat transfer.
