The article presents a mock-up sample of a unit based on a minitractor for removing stones from the surface of meadows and pastures. It was found that clearing pastures of scattered small and medium-sized stones leads to an increase in useful area, improvement of water-air and nutrient regimes and product quality. It is concluded that it is advisable to use the unit in mountain meadows and pastures with a slope of up to 13 degrees.
