<strong><em>Abstract: </em></strong> <em>The Scheduled Tribes (ST) population in Ahmednagar district has been an important focus of social and demographic research, particularly in relation to its percentage changes over time. This study examines the changes in the proportion of ST populations in Ahmednagar district from 2001 to 2011. Census data from the two periods were analysed to determine the trends in ST populations in different sub-districts of Ahmednagar district. The study found that the proportion of ST populations in Ahmednagar district increased slightly from 10.9% in 2001 to 11.4%
