Time-delay estimation (TDE) finds application in a variety of problems, be it locating fractures or steering cameras towards the speaker in a multi-participant conference application. Underwater acoustic OFDM source localization is another important application of TDE. Salicylic Acid Binding Protein 2 (SABP2) is a 29kDa protein present in extremely low amounts in tobacco leaves. SABP2 processes the mobile defense signal, methyl salicylic acid generated in plants resisting microbial infection. The precise localization of SABP2 in plants is not known. A developmentally regulated cyclic AMP-dependent protein kinase has been recently reported in Dictyostelium discoideum. This report describes some of the physical and kinetic properties of the cAMP-dependent holoenzyme and its subunits. Gel filtration data suggests a holoenzyme Mr of 170,000-190,000, and catalytic and regulatory subunit Mrs of 40,000 and 49,000, respectively. These molecular weight determinations are compatible with an R₂C₂ subunit arrangement of the holoenzyme. In the bacterium Escherichia coli, cell division involves the concerted inward growth of all three layers of the cell envelope: the cytoplasmic membrane, the peptidoglycan (PG) cell wall, and the outer membrane.
