Greenhouse is a building formed to protect and care for plants from various kinds of weather and pests on plants. In addition, greenhouses also function to manipulate and control environmental conditions so that the conditions needed for plant growth are met. Air humidity is one of the environmental conditions that affect plant growth and can be controlled by automatic fogging so that plants can grow optimally. This research aims to produce an atomization system and maintain air humidity in the greenhouse automatically. The use of this research is as an information material for farming communi

Abstract Nowadays, one of the most important issues in modern industrial power plants is air pollution. Solid particles are harmful to human health and are one of the main pollutants released through the combustion of biomass. The main goal of this paper was to study the flow in a modular bag filter of a dedusting system implemented in a Biomass Power Plant, in order to improve the filtration of the solid particles coming from the biomass combustion. For this purpose, a numerical model using the ANSYS Fluent software was developed. Initially, it was necessary to model the dedusting system in t

The paper is devoted to systemizing all mobile applications used during the STEM-classes and can be used to identify plants. There are 10 mobile applications that are plant identifiers worldwide. These applications can be divided into three groups, such as plant identifiers that can analyze photos, plant classification provides the possibility to identify plants manually, plants-care apps that remind water of the plant, or change the soil. In this work, mobile apps such as Flora Incognita, PlantNet, PlantSnap, PictureThis, LeafSnap, Seek, PlantNet were analyzed for usability parameters and acc

Objectives. We had two aims: (1) identify and analyze models of survivorship care for adult survivors of childhood cancer that include primary care, and (2) identify available tools, training, and other resources for adult survivors of childhood cancer. Methods. For each aim, we used realist synthesis to provide insights on how and for whom, in what contexts, and via what mechanisms the models of care and resources we identified can be effective for adult survivors of childhood cancer. We developed an initial program theory through searches of the literature and discussions with Stakeholders.

This document presents lesson plans designed to introduce middle and high school STEM students to the fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and the application of spatial information and mapping in research and conservation. Over the course of six sessions (1.5 hours each), students explore real-world case studies in shark research and oceanography, gaining hands-on experience with GIS tools. These lessons aim to strengthen students’ analytical skills and enhance their understanding of spatial data in marine science. The development of this curriculum was supported by Black Girl
