Abstract:
Urban air mobility is an effective solution to address the current issue of ground traffic congestion in future cities. However, as the user scale continues to expand, the current civil aviation flight scheduling and control methods are becoming inadequate to meet the high-volume flight guarantee demands of future urban air transportation. In order to effectively handle and resolve potential issues in this field in the future, this paper proposes a method for planning urban air mobility route networks. The planning process is divided into two stages: construction and optimization. Methods for

UAVs will present significant air traffic in the urban airspace in the future, which brings new challenges to urban air traffic management and control. This paper presents an air route design scheme for multi-rotor UAVs in urban airspace to enable UAV operations at orderly levels. The fixed-route network is the basis for airlines to carry out flight direction planning. Some countries and regions have introduced temporary routes as a supplement to the fixed route structure. This article takes the mixed airline's route network as the research object. Firstly, the structural properties of mixed air route networks are analyzed by using complex network theory. The movement of soldiers and materiel across battlespace is critical to a successful military operation. Knowledge of the road network condition ensures safe and successful vehicle maneuver. This research focused on remote assessment of poor-quality paved road networks for vehicle maneuver using data products derived from three-dimensional point clouds. Point clouds were generated from lidar sensors deployed from ground and airborne platforms to enable engineering analysis of the pavement surface. A series of algorithms developed to extract roughness, grade, radius of curvature, and width alon

Review question / Objective: The aim of this study was to compare the therapeutic effects of various stem cell types, sources and routes of administration on chronic decompensated cirrhosis by using network meta-analysis. Condition being studied: Liver cirrhosis is an important public health problem that puzzles the world. It is divided into compensatory stage and decompensated stage. Once the patient enters decompensated stage, the treatment is very limited, and liver transplantation is currently the best and only approach to improve the survival rate of decompensated cirrhosis4. The rapid growth in population and related demand for travel during the past few decades has had a catalytic effect on traffic congestion, air quality, and safety in many urban areas. Transportation managers and planners have planned for new facilities to cater to the needs of users of alternative modes of transportation (e.g., public transportation, walking, and bicycling) over the next decade. However, there are no widely accepted methods, nor there is enough evidence to justify whether such plans are instrumental in improving mobility of the transportation system. Therefore, this project re

The San Joaquin Valley is identified as an area with a high level of particulate matter (PM) in the air, reaching above the federal and state clean air standards (EPA 2019). Many of the cities in the valley are classified as the most polluted cities in the United States for both particulate matter and ozone pollution (American Lung Association, 2021). To resolve this issue, alternative forms of transportation have been considered in transportation planning. In this study, active transportation mode air quality was monitored on selected Woodward Park and Old Clovis trails and urban bike lanes.

This working paper approaches the current global crisis as a potential territoriality for radicalizing concepts and for learning with ongoing fugitive routes. Through nonlinear paths, I aim to examine the contours of the quilombo not only as a slavery-past event but as a continuum of anti-colonial struggle that invokes other forms of re-existence and convivial coexistence in Brazil. In doing that, this research draws attention to an Améfrica Ladina epistemology and a decolonial methodology embodied by living archives and oral histories.
