Abstract:
Ajax technology has been widely applied in a variety of Web development. It takes full advantage of existing technical standards to achieve updating the contents of the page without refreshing the entire page. In this paper, Ajax asynchronous mode enhances the credibility of user experience, optimizes the transmission between the browser and the server and reduces unnecessary data transferring back and forth and bandwidth usage. Using XML packaging method achieved Ajaxs efficient operation of bulk data and made the application of Ajax more extensive. Practice shows that Ajax technology based on XML packaging can provides a flexible and fast bulk data processing function in Web development.

AJAX is a new technology, which was published by Java community in 2005, and immediately cried up by programmers. AJAX integrates many matured techniques. The characters are synchronous dealing with UI element in client side, asynchronous sending message to server, accepting data, then only updating the elements which need to be updated, no need to update the whole page. This new mechanism enhances B/S efficiency greatly. The author has applied AJAX to WebGIS project and the effect is great. This paper introduces work theory of AJAX and technique rout to apply it to WebGIS.

Abstract:
The study discusses the fusion technology of PRG pattern and Ajax and its applications. After analyzing the natures and shortcomings of PRG pattern, it introduces improvement of PRG pattern by using Ajax technology, and proposes three patterns: A-P pattern, A-PRG pattern and A-PG pattern. These patterns can make full use of the characteristics of Ajax technology, which can send asynchronous requests to the server and partially update page, and solve the shortcomings of PRG pattern. Finally, the implementation technology of the patterns in JSF application is presented; the applicable scenarios and constraints of the patterns are elaborated.

Lecturer Evaluation System (e-CEvas) is used to measure lecturers’ strength and weaknesses every end of semester by the students. However, the current lecturer evaluation system had many problems such as slow performance, limited interactivity, loss of states and the data transmission had redundant code that was unnecessary in each page. To overcome those stated problem, AJAX technology is used to make the lecturer evaluation system much faster, easier to use, more reliable and increase the performance. This study applied AJAX technology in the development together with Visual Studio Ultimate 2012 as the editor, ASP.NET C# language for coding and SQL Server as the database. V-model framework approach was used in developing this research study which involves requirement analysis, system design, architectural design, module design, unit testing, integration testing, system testing and acceptance testing. Microsoft Visual Studio Web Performance and Load Testing software is used to measure the performance of AJAX technology and the result shows that differences of response time proved that AJAX is powerful web development technique for programming. User Acceptance Test was carried out to measure the satisfaction of users when using e-CEvas which the result shown that most respondents are agree to all instructions in the system and the organization of information on the screens is clear.

It is expected by using ASP.NET AJAX, BINUS School Serpong website performance will be faster because of reducing web page reload. The methodology used in this paper is literature study. Results from this study are to prove that the ASP.NET AJAX can be used easily and improve BINUS School Serpong website performance. Conclusion of this paper is the implementation of ASP.NET AJAX improves performance of web application in BINUS School Serpong.

In this paper, we used web Service Bridge to solve the ASP.NET AJAX client cannot directly invoke the remote web service problem caused by the security restrictions of JavaScript. Web Service Bridge makes the AJAX client invoke the remote web services as if it invokes the local web services by defining the local service proxy for remote web service in XML declaration. The example demonstrates that, compared to the traditional method of programming local service proxy, web Service Bridge is more convenient and efficient to implement a large number of remote web service invocations in Mushup application.

Bioinformatics applications are generally multi-server dependants and will have to communicate several information repositories to carry out any analyses. These applications remain computationally intensive and time consuming as they engage lots of data transfer. Hence they face a major bottleneck when ported as web applications. Browser based web applications normally feature the classical request-response approach. If the response becomes late, as it is expected to happen in the case of long running Bioinformatics programs, Apache will get tired and a request timeout error might occur. Alternate approaches like “Client-Pull” models that involve polling strategy with the unpredictable amount of page refreshes, only tend to intensify the network traffic. Hence a technology that is intelligent enough to support the varied exhaustive Bioinformatics processes becomes highly essential. In this review, we propose how AJAX can afford a laconic framework within the Bioinformatics applications to completely reduce the page refresh nuisance and provide a better user experience.

In order to obtain the remote environmental parameters, The SHT10 digital humidity and temperature sensor, and the TSL2561 light-to-digital converter were used to get the environmental parameters such as the temperature, the humidity and the luminance. The two sensors were controlled by the microprocessor MCS-51. The Internet of Things (IOT) technology was used to transform the parameters data to the remote server through the GPRS network, and the SIM900 chip was opted to accomplish GPRS function. The Ajax and the mobile platform were combined to make sure that the environment data on the server can be easily accessed. By using Ajax in the web application, the time to reach the information reduced a lot, and there were no more geographical restrictions because of the Mobile Platform application.

There is a constant need for the reduction of operational and maintenance costs of Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS). The most efficient way of reducing these costs would be to continuously monitor the condition of these systems, which allows for early detection of the degeneration of the generator health, facilitating a proactive response, minimizing downtime, and maximizing productivity. Wind generators are also inaccessible since they are situated on extremely high towers, which are usually 70m more in height. There are also plans to increase the number of offshore sites increasing the need for a remote means of WECS monitoring that overcomes some of the difficulties of accessibility problems. Therefore it is important of condition monitoring and fault diagnosis in WECS. A monitoring scheme of transfer its monitor status with AJAX technology was put forwords in this paper. A remote condition monitoring platform (RCMP) was designed and constructed in this project. And its result brings us an effective solution to deal with the WECS condition monitoring.

To overcome deficiencies in the mobile tourism applications such as underutilization of mobile device capabilities and poor user experience, a low-cost and cross-platform mobile travel reservation system was designed. Based on business process optimization of client-side, the mobile app was built by using HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery technology. Additionally, the system uses Ajax asynchronous interactive technology to improve response time. The practical application of this system shows that it can work equally well on multiple mobile platform. The characteristics of flat UI design, convenient operation and good user experience stretch its application prospects.

Focusing on the specific needs of network management in video surveillance platform, but almost all of current systems is insufficient. The development of OOP and distributed computer technology, especially the improvement of technology based on Web and the J2EE framework give an effect way to implement the distributed unified network management system. This paper firstly introduces n mixed network management model based on SNMP and ICE protocol. And then integrating use of web technology, Spring business logic control technology, Hibernate data persistence technology, Ajax technology to design a distributed, multilayer, extendable structure base on J2EE. Finally, we present the implement of key modules on network management system in video surveillance platform. Experimental results show that the architecture design not only meet specific needs of the large scale access and scalability but also improve the flexibility of the network management system.

In the design of examination system, XML technology was combined with database technology, which adopted XML to describe exam papers, played XML technology in the data description and data exchange and display of superiority to improve system performance. In this system, students can take the exam and choose their own learning content to take self-test exercises. When self-test is completed, students can view their own answer situation and the standard answer of these questions; this played a role in promoting students' independent learning.

Web3D technology, with the advantages of realistic scene simulation and intelligent interaction, has been widely applied to many fields, like electronic business and medical treatment. Aiming at the problems of abstract information and poor interactivity in traditional Distributed Monitoring and Control Systems (DMCS), a method based on Web3D technology is presented. The services published by DMCS are called to deal with the request before the scene management, and then the effective messages are asynchronous transferred by the way of Ajax which can optimize the real-time scene interaction. The objects designed by JavaScript map the messages into entities in VRML/X3D scenes. Simulation analysis demonstrated the effectiveness of realistic scene simulation and high performance of intelligent interaction.

There are several studies for developing web-based CAE applications to substitute existing CAE applications. CASOW is the web-based CAE system developed by the author. The approach for implementation of the system is to use fundamental technologies, for instance, HTML, HTTP, CSS and so on, because we cannot know whether new technologies will be alive or not. Certain technologies bring specific advantages to the applications, but a life time of the application would be short. Recently a great advantage of web interface is developed. Such a representative application is Google Maps which doesn’t require any special software components; however the application realizes interactiveness of the application. The technology is called Ajax which drastically overcomes the bad interactiveness on the web browser. On the other hand, high efficiency of analysis work with high performance computers produces many kinds of knowledge and a large amount of information. We are confronted with inefficient knowledge and information management in the network system. This paper presents the new web-based CAE system using Ajax and knowledge sharing framework with compatibility to web interface. The system is presented, and advantages of the interface, effectiveness of the API in the system and knowledge sharing framework are discussed.

In order to meet the user requirement of the dynamic customization and configuration of the changeable and complicated page functionality on the client, when constructing the web application platform, an advanced rich-client method and technology based on DOM ( Document Object Model ) was designed and used to develop the client module. The client module with rich-client technology was in the traditional J2EE (Java 2 Enterprise Edition ) architecture which was the Client-Centric and MVC ( Model-View-Control ) mode. On the client side, according to the dynamic page generation algorithm, developers wrote JavaScript scripting language based on DOM and Ajax (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) for user customization and choose the part of the third-party open-source Extjs ( Extendable JavaScript ) components as the page elements to generate client-side dynamic configuration interface. From a user experience perspective, The good performance test results of the advanced rich-client method effectively examine the distinguishing features of the new method.

In order to verify the validity of the algorithm, large number of experimental data is used in the experiment. We propose a method of load balancing algorithm is compared with the traditional non-load-balancing algorithm for CPU utilization and system response time in the experiments. The experimental results show that the load balancing technology can reduce system response time and CPU utilization of server.

Moreover most of the web developers are just trying to copy other famous companies’ works, because they do not have any idea what standards they have to follow, and this is not because there is not any frameworks and standards but it is because these frameworks do not meet new technology requirements. Although most of the research on interaction design did not consider elements such as Ajax pages and different type of device’s screen size such as tablets and phones (and they influence on web page design), in this research author has reviewed different principles of interaction design in different studies and based on these studies and recent changes in technology, suggested a new framework. Furthermore two round study was performed on a social network website, one before implementing this framework and the other one after implementing it. Additionally findings were evaluated to show that by implementing this framework in web design not only developers, but users will benefit from it.

Web Push Notification is a notification mechanism using Javascript in a web browser. This feature is available in the HTML5 Push API by using a Push Service or Messaging server that sends notifications to subscribed web browsers without opening the website so that it can broadcast and the HTML5 Notification API does not require a Push Service or Messaging server but must open a website, but not supported all web browsers so that this paper discusses Push Notification Web Implementation in archive management information systems using PushJS, the development method used is the Rational Unified Process (RUP). Notification technology that is suitable for web-based archive management information systems namely HTML5 Notification API because it will not send the same notification to all users. But there is no process behind the scenes so that it will not be run automatically, the problem is overcome by using AJAX by retrieving JSON and then running repeatedly on the web browser and minimizing clashes between web push notification scripts on multi tab windows or web browser windows resolved using localStorage from the HTML5 WebStorage API. The test results show that the application of Web Push Notification technology in the Archive Management Information System can help users manage many archives and use AJAX influences the speed of web access.</em></p><p class="Abstrak"><em><strong><br /></strong></em></p>
