The concept of Sadhus is an old Hindu tradition started long ago from the system of Ashram in Indian Sub-continent. In general, human life is divided into four stages and the last stage is known as Sanyasa. When an old person becomes free from his family responsibilities then he practices peaceful activities. This stage of life is called Sanyasa and it is a form of Sadhu. Sadhus generally live in Asharams or temples in the group. In the past, they were forced to take weapons in their hands for the protection of their life and religion. Therefore, Akhadas were established in the place of ashram

This article focuses on the early coinage of the Akhaian cities of South Italy — Sybaris, Kroton, Metapontion, Kaulonia, Poseidonia — against the backdrop of colonization. Minting an early and distinctive series of coins, these centres were issuing coinage well before their ‘mother-cities’, a phenomenon that has never been fully appreciated. With its origins in a colonial context, the Akhaian coinage of Magna Graecia not only differs from that of the early coin-minting states of the Greek mainland, it offers a case study that challenges long-held assumptions and potentially contributes to a be

Based on the experiment and Akhavan-Behabadi correlation, a new correlation has been developed. It is shown that the heat transfer coefficients for the inclined tube are approximately 1.06-2.98 times higher than those for the horizontal tube. The heat transfer coefficients predicted by Shah correlation, Würfel correlation and Akhavan-Behabadi correlation deviate greatly, though Akhavan-Behabadi correlation is better. Abstract Across her body of work in film, television, and digital media, Desiree Akhavan has captured the awkward politics of cultural production for female filmmakers and media-makers. Yet she has also refused to straightforwardly align her work with feminist critiques of dominant cultural production practices, however much she is interpellated by them. Akhavan, a queer woman of color in a racist, sexist, and homophobic industry, negotiates both contemporary feminism's potentials for solidarity and its intersectional shortcomings. Mehdi Akhavan Sales (1928-1990) is one of the most important figures in modern Persian literature. However, his poetry is little known in the West. Even in Iran, though held in high regard, his work is considered hermetic. There is no unambiguous message, no identifiable political or aesthetic doctrine. Still, his poems exert a strange, haunting power. What do they tell us, now, two decades after the poet's death? What do they mean outside their homeland? What is their voice in world literature? By deliberately and carefully claiming both the title and authority connected to a Śaṅkarācārya for herself, Trikal Bhavanta Saraswati (called Mataji) demands gender equality and the fair inclusion of women in a religious institution that has traditionally excluded women and low castes from leadership roles.
