Abstract:
The following master thesis deals with creating a computational model for acoustic wave distribution by the human vocal tract and then the space around a human head. Detailed mapping of the sound field around the human head is important for more accurate measurement of the human voice. Part of this work is the creation of three-dimensional finite element model of the human head and the vocal tract during phonation of the vowel /:a/ based on the data from the computational tomography. Further the literature search of the function of the vocal tract, biomechanics of the making of the human voice, an overview of the computational models so far published in the literature and in literature reported measurements of the distribution of the human voice by the vocal tract and then in the space around the head . The following is the actual numerical solution of the acoustic waves distribution from the vocal cords through the vocal tract and then the space around the human head when thinking of acoustic absorption on the walls of the vocal tract and on the skin of the head for different types of waking of the model. The results are compared with previously published measurements of the distribution of the human voice and mainly the distortion of the frequency spectra at each specific node in the space around the head and in its vicinity of where the sensor microphones are typically placed are analyzed. Results of the computational modeling will eventually be used for frequency correction for various positions of the microphones scanning the voice distribution in its diagnosis, speech or singing.

Abstract:
The thesis features an analytic view on stereo microphone systems and basic localization principals of phantom sound sources: time?of?arrival differences ∆t and signal level differences ∆L. All information throughout the thesis is based on an acoustic measurement of more than 100 microphone setups performed in a concert hall. Three fundamental types of stereophony ? time?of?arrival, intensity, and mixed ? are described using the results of the measurement. Various microphone system parameters, such as microphone distance, angle between microphones, polar pattern choice, are discussed, particularly their influence on captured ∆t and ∆L differences. The thesis allows a closer investigation of localization principles including the extent of their effectiveness in a real acoustic space.

Abstract:
The work description is to create a system of measures to prevent the spread and the consequent attenuation of sound in air handling systems serving the cleanrooms. The thesis presents a solution to noise attenuation in the investigated area, and in HVAC duct, which uses a commercially available material in the form of sound insulation hoses. In the systém solution is part of the work focuses on the optimal design of terminal elements to distribute air in a clean room. Processing methods utilize theoretical and experimental approach. The experiment comprises a unique analysis of the sound insulation properties of selected products under specific conditions. The data obtained are analyzed and incorporated into the framework of this work created program module for determining the attenuation and noise propagation in an enclosed space. Math and physical dependence are programmed into their own DLL by programming language DELPHI.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with adjusting the reverberation time of enclosed spaces. It is divided into two thematic areas. The first thematic area deals with active systems that adjust the reverberation time, with a stronger focus on usage of reverberators to simulate secondary spaces. The second thematic area is the implementation of reverberators and their fundamental building blocks in Matlab.

Abstract:
This thesis deals with artificial simulation of acoustic spaces by using reverberators. Output of this document consists of four reverberation algorithms and function that evaluates objective parameters of acoustic space from impulse responses. Reverberators and script were implemented using Matlab. Graphical user interface is used to present all of the algorithms for easier usability. First chapter deals with objective parameters of acoustic spaces and the ways they are computed from impulse response. Second chapter describes various structures which are used to build reverberators. Those structures are used in third chapter in implementations of reverberators. Third chapter also compares all implemented reverberators . In last chapter experiment was made. Impulse responses of three spaces were measured and subsequently aproximated by algorithms implemented in this thesis.

The aim of this Master’s thesis Vibration Propagation Analysis of Coupled Structure Acoustic Space is to analyze vibration propagation in combustion engine, from combustion space through solid structure to fluid surroundings. Then analyze the noise increase as pressure changing in fluid space around the solid structure. There was made a analyze of single piston engine in different frequency and piston location. A simulation of distribution of a pressure waves was made in an ANSYS application.

Abstract:
This thesis offers insight to the issue of subwoolfer amplification in live sound application. The introduction discusses the role of subwoofers in sound practices and the impact of low-frequency spectrum of the human body. It describes a creation of PA system as process of design, construction and final control measurement. In first part thesis deals with principles of connecting several subwoolfer sources to the systems - Arrays. It describes Radiation patterns and evaluates consistency of sound field on low frequency range. Further part of work follow up the application of delay of whole system or its parts, Beam steering. The aim of this work is to evaluate particular systems from practical point of view when used in interiors and exteriors on so called "Open air" venues.

Abstract:
This Master's Thesis deals with geometric modeling methods and theirs implementation in Octave (Matlab), which is ideal for the practical realization. The first part of the thesis is focused on a very simplified image source method, which is able to calculate and render the 2D impulse response of rectangular rooms. The next part is aimed on~the same method, but extended by three-dimensional simulation of polyhedral prism-shaped rooms. There is both an explanation of theoretical and mathematical aspects and a~documentation of the implemented source code. Extended image source method is able to generate sound representation of impulse response characteristics, and use it for auralization, which is achieved by using convolution of both the input sound source and the calculated impulse response. At the end there are two practical examples for both methods with explanatory illustrations.

Abstract:
This master’s thesis deals with problems of noise source identification using nearfield acoustical holography (NAH). In the beginning there is the summary of basic terms and values of a sound pressure field, which is unnecessary for understanding of the theme. In the next part the thesis continues with more detailed description of the NAH technology and the historical context of its emergence. Measurement equipment which is used for scanning of sound pressure fields is also introduced. In addition, the kinds of NAH (according the shape of the wave front) are showed and the planar NAH is descripted most closely. Because of the NAH algorithms are implemented in the wave number domain (k-space), there is also a chapter focused to this problem in the thesis. There are briefly descripted some similar methods in next chapter, like statistically optimized NAH, (SONAH) and iterative NAH with recursive filtration. The main product of the thesis is the practical part represented by testing application. That is created in the Matlab environment and is able to calculate and display hologram of the scanned array by the planar NAH method using the “k-space” filter. The application supposes a planar sound source and in other cases the accuracy of the reconstruction is not guaranteed. There are also given some holograms calculated with the application.

Abstract:
Subject of this written work is as natural acoustic reverberation phenomenon in enclosed spaces used for music production and its replacement. The first chapter defines the reverberation as a physical phenomenon and defines the basic concepts. The second chapter is about reverberation authentic space, its characteristics and specific characteristics. The next chapter describes the properties of artificial reverberation, its parameters and potential problems. This chapter also shows you how to adapt artificial reverberation. The fourth chapter is devoted to a comparison of authentic and artificial reverberation. Here one can find a correlation between their parameters, the differences in the same excitation signal, compared the algorithmic and convolution with the aftermath of an authentic finish. Chapter Five then goes on to state requirements for artificial reverberation in auralization and also some basic aesthetic categories. The last chapter of this work describes a practical experiment that verifies the validity of the hypothesis replace natural reverberation. Subject experiment is auralization audio samples of an anechoic room and recording studio. The aim of the experiment is to simulate a concert hall reverberation.
