Abstract:
Relevance One of the directions for increasing the efficiency of processes in the oil and gas industry is to optimize the consumption of electrical energy at all stages of production activity, with the main share of energy consumption costs occurring in processes associated with oil production. Currently, to assess and calculate the level of energy consumption and specific energy consumption, semi-empirical methods are used, characterized by the lack of an integrated approach and low accuracy. In this regard, the development of algorithmic and mathematical support for the implementation of an

Abstract:
This article is an investigation into the risks involved in the activity of artificial intelligence aimed at children and adolescents. It appears that artificial intelligence has been active in several fields, not being different in the daily lives of children, especially after the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, its risks are often not properly analyzed, which culminates in damage and discrimination in one of the most vulnerable sectors: children and adolescents. This article aims, through deductive method of literature review, to analyze the risks that are involved in the activity

Abstract:
Examples of discriminatory algorithmic recruitment of workers have triggered a debate on application of the non-discrimination principle in the EU. Algorithms challenge two principles in the system of evidence in EU non-discrimination law. The first is effectiveness, given that due to algorithmic opacity, the parties in algorithmic discrimination cases do not have easy and unrestricted access to facts enabling them to support their claims. The second is fairness, insofar as the launching and unfolding of the evidentiary debate requires lifting the veil of algorithmic opacity: a colossal task,

Abstract:
Online mental health communities (OMHCs) have emerged in recent years as an effective and accessible way to obtain peer support, filling crucial gaps of traditional mental health resources. However, the mechanisms for users to find relationships that fulfill their needs and capabilities in these communities are highly underdeveloped. Using a mixed-methods approach of user interviews and behavioral log analysis on 7Cups.com, we explore central challenges in finding adequate peer relationships in online support platforms and how algorithmic matching can alleviate many of these issues. We measure
