Holoprosencephaly (HPE) is a complex brain malformation caused by incomplete fusion of cleavage of the cerebral hemispheres and deep brain structures affecting 6 to 12:10,000 live-born infants. There are three categories of HPE ranging in severity, with alobar holoprosencephaly being the most severe, followed by semilobar holoprosencephaly, and lobar holoprosencephaly being the mildest form. Introduction: Holoprosencephaly (HPE) is a rare congenital malformation of the brain; the incidence rate was 0.49-1.2 cases per 10,000-20,000 term births. Holoprosencephaly (HPE), a congenital induction disorder, occurs due to failed segmentation of neural tube and subsequent incomplete separation of the prosencephalon. Esse artigo apresenta a aplicação de um método multicritério de classificação, que utiliza aprendizagem de preferências, para alocar um conjunto de 180 países em 5 classes de liberdade econômica. As classes são pré-definidas e ordenadas, o que caracteriza o problema como de “sorting”. Para a aplicação, escolhas de alternativas de referência foram simuladas. Em seguida, os resultados foram comparados à classificação realizada por uma agência especializada. O método obteve resultados consistentes, com um percentual de semelhança superior a 85%.

Este trabalho visa melhor alocar, em clínicas, candidatos para a realização de exames clínicos pertencentes aos processos do Departamento Estadual de Trânsito de Alagoas (Detran-AL). Este estudo desenvolve uma análise comparativa em relação a alocação atual do Detran-AL e o algoritmo proposto. Utilizando de rede neural recorrente para classificação de texto e técnicas de programação matemática para o problema de alocação, reduziu-se em 30.07% o custo total de deslocamento dos candidatos para as clínicas, respeitando restrições impostas por lei.

Este artigo apresenta um estudo de uma estratégia de overthread aplicada ao método numérico Hopmoc, que consiste em alocar um número de processos e threads superior à quantidade de núcleos físicos disponíveis. Os resultados obtidos são apresentados e analisados por diferentes métricas. Por meio da abordagem de overthread mostramos que foi possível aumentar o desempenho da aplicação em ambiente paralelo para além da capacidade máxima de cores físicos da máquina, e que esse ganho é possível devido a eliminação das barreiras de sincronização nativas do OpenMP.

O presente artigo apresenta o processo de desenvolvimento do jogo educacional "Doce Sort", cujo objetivo é exercitar algumas propriedades de árvores binárias de busca, destinado a estudantes de graduação na área de computação. "Doce Sort" é do gênero "puzzle", ambientado em uma doceria e tem como inspiração jogos comerciais como "Overcooked" e "Candy Crush". Possui três modos de jogo: i) alocar; ii) inserir e iii)caminhar, cada um dos modos possui 15 fases. O objetivo do jogo é auxiliar estudantes de Computação no processo de aprendizagem em árvores.
