As a result of the fusion of these isotopes, an alpha particle with energy of 3.5 MeV and a neutron with energy of 14.1 MeV is created. Neutrons escape from the plasma and pass through the magnetic field without interference and are absorbed in the blanket, and their energy is converted into heat.
