Abstract:
In this work we investigated the mobility of hydrogen in amorphous ceramics with the composition Si13B13C60N13 (AM26C). The material was derived from a pre-ceramic polymer and thermolyzed at 1000 °C. After thermolysis the AM26C ceramics are assumed to be separated in an amorphous SiC phase and an amorphous C(BN)x phase. To measure the diffusivities we used deuterium as a tracer, which was introduced via isotope exchange from the gas phase at temperatures between 700 °C and 1100 °C. Depth profiling was done with secondary ion mass spectrometry (SIMS). The profiles could be fitted with complemen

Abstract:
A screening test on 29 microorganisms for transformation of xanthohumol led to the selection of twelve fungal strains. One of them, Beauveria bassiana AM278, converted xanthohumol into a glucosylated derivative. This product was identified as xanthohumol 4’-O-β-D-4’’’- methoxyglucopyranoside.

Abstract:
Searching for the new anticancer compounds we prepared three new β-cyclocitral-derived hydroxyl-γ-lactones by microbial hydroxylation of tetramethyl-substituted bicyclic γ-lactone. The substrate was transformed by the enzymatic system of filamentous fungi. Three out of fifteen strains were selected as effective biocatalysts (Fusarium culmorum AM10, Armillaria mellea AM296, Trametes versicolor AM536). The hydroxylation processes were not only regioselective but also stereoselective. The hydroxylation products of each secondary carbon atom in the cyclohexane ring were obtained by the application
