Abstract:
In this paper we proposed a two-parameter power Amarendra distribution which includes Amarendra distribution as particular case. Its statistical properties including behavior of its probability density function for varying values of parameters, moments, hazard rate function, mean residual life function and stochastic ordering has been discussed. The estimation of the parameters of the distribution has been discussed using maximum likelihood estimation. Applications of the distribution have been investigated using real lifetime datasets from engineering and biomedical sciences.

Abstract:
In this paper some statistical properties including nature of hazard function, mean residual life function, and moments based descriptive statistical constants including coefficient of variation, skweness, kurtosis and index of dispersion of the weighted Amarendra distribution has been discussed. Two methods of estimation, namely, maximum likelihood estimation and maximum product spacing estimation have been discussed. The simulation study has been presented to know the consistency of the estimator of parameters given by the two methods of estimation. Confidence intervals of the parameters are

Abstract:
This study examined the probability of death using survival data of individuals with diabetes. The main objective of this study was to identify the most appropriate distribution to represent the survival time of patients with diabetes from 50 individuals in the Bengkalis area using 1-parameter probability modeling, such as the Lindley (LL), Sujatha (SJ), Amarendra (AR), Devya (DV), and Shambhu (SB) distributions. The maximum likelihood method was used to estimate the parameter values of the distributions used in this study. In addition, graphical assessment (density-density plots) and numerica
