Abstract:
In this paper we proposed a two-parameter power Amarendra distribution which includes Amarendra distribution as particular case. Its statistical properties including behavior of its probability density function for varying values of parameters, moments, hazard rate function, mean residual life function and stochastic ordering has been discussed. The estimation of the parameters of the distribution has been discussed using maximum likelihood estimation. Applications of the distribution have been investigated using real lifetime datasets from engineering and biomedical sciences.

Abstract Hyperactive monomeric G-proteins such as RAS are dominant “drivers” in cancer. In triple negative breast cancer (TNBC), RAS hyperactivity is due to low levels of the RAS-GTPase activating protein, RASA1, a tumor suppressor. Polyisoprenylated methylated protein methyl esterase (PMPMEase) is overexpressed in various cancers and its specific inhibition causes cancer cell death.
