L' analyse de Los Abel et Fiesta al Noroeste, parus au cours de la première phase de la dictature franquiste, met au jour les modalités de la transposition littéraire du mythe de Cai͏̈n et d'Abel dans ces deux romans d'Ana María Matute. Entre atemporalité mythique et temps historique, le traitement de l'affrontement fratricide, opérant une métaphorisation de la guerre civile espagnole, élabore diverses formes, subversives, de l' " abélité " et de la " cai͏̈nité ". Créant ses propres mythes, cultivant l'irrévérence, l'écriture matutienne exprime sa dissidence au travers d'un " dire oblique " qui introduit le burlesque dans l'ordre mythico-religieux du franquisme. Elle marque son indépendance en insérant dans l'objectivisme du réalisme social, tendance littéraire en vigueur, la subjectivité énonciative, le lyrisme métaphorique, construisant un réalisme symbolique
The analysis of Los Abel and Fiesta al Noroeste, published during the first part of Franco's dictature, reveals the modalities of the litterary transposition of the myth of Cain and Abel in Ana Maria Matute's both novels. The vision of the fratricide fight as a metaphore of the Spanish civil war between mythic and actual historical times elaborates several forms of the biblical brotherly confrontation. By creating its own myths and developing an increasing sense of irreverence Matute's writing shows its dissidence through a non conformist way of telling which introduces the burlesque dimension in the mythic and religious order of francoism. As an independent woman writer, Matute introduces her narrative subjectivity and her metaphorical lyrism in the strict objectivity of social realism, thus creating her own symbolical transposition of reality

Nella prima parte, vengono esposte brevemente la biografia e le opere dell'autrice, evidenziandone i temi ricorrenti e le influenze letterarie. L'attenzione si focalizza, in seguito, sul testo in lingua originale, che viene analizzato dal punto di vista narratologicoo (trama, tempo, spazio, personaggi e temi) e linguistico (lingua e stile). Le strategie utilizzate durante la traduzione e le scelte traduttive più rilevanti vengono descritte e motivate in un commento finale che si basa sul confronto tra la versione spagnola e quella italiana.

Abstract:
This thesis explores the Spanish authors, Ana María Matute (1926-), Rosa Montero (1952-), and Lucía Etxebarri a (1966-) in the context of the socio-political background of the Franco Regime, the transition to democracy and the contemporary period in Spain. Its primary focus is on their perception of the label ‘women’s writer’ and their ‘public personaʼ: that is, the public perception of these three writers that is produced by the reception of their work, their status and interaction with the wider public in interviews, and, increasingly, via the internet. The question of as the existence, or not, of ‘women's writing’ has been a subject of academic debate for decades, and it could be argued that my focus on women only in this thesis is retrogressive. Two of the three writers I have chosen to focus on have also already inspired a number of academic studies. However, as the small number of women writers included the Royal Academy demonstrates, I would argue that as all publish their work in a cultural environment that is still dominated by men, the question of ‘women’s writing’ remains a important topic of debate. My own contribution to this debate is indebted to Henseler's (2003) study of Spanish women writers and the publishing industry. In her ground-breaking work, Henseler claims that Spanish Generation X writers have the potential to subvert the literary system by embracing the increasing commercialism of the literary market to promote their works. This is the claim that I take this as my point of departure for a more in-depth analysis of the hitherto understudied relationship between the gender of these three writers and the rapidly changing publishing industry in which they work. However, my own reading of Matute, Montero, and especially Etxebarria’s public appearances, via Joe Moran’s (2000) study of the growing importance of the ‘star- author’, suggests that, far from offering a vehicle for subversion, the fact that contemporary authors have to negotiate public appearances and the photo shoot is just another symptom of an increasingly commercialised and ‘virtual’, or web-based literary market-place. Finally, my research also carries out a close analysis of their representation of the changing Spanish society over the thirty years in which each of these highly successful women writers has published their major work. Since these are women who are particularly representative of three different generations, I have chosen to examine the way the ‘motherʼ - as the metaphorical representative and as a ‘ghostly reminder’ of the previous generation - is represented in their work.

Die vorliegende Arbeit liefert einen Beitrag zur Erforschung der institutionalisierten Zensur von literarischen Texten im Franquismus anhand der Untersuchung von Werken Ana María Matutes. Als repressives Instrument diente die Zensur der Kontrolle, dem Schutz vor ‚kritischen‘ Inhalten sowie der Propagierung, Durchsetzung und Konsolidierung des franquistischen Dogmas. Zensiert wurden ‚bedrohliche‘ Werke aufgrund ihres kommunikativen Gehalts, aber auch wegen der sie charakterisierenden materiellen Fixierung, konnte die ‚gefürchtete‘ Aussage ihre Wirkung doch an vielen Orten noch lange nach dem Moment ihrer Entstehung entfalten. Die originale unzensierte Textfassung vieler Werke ist deswegen für den Leser bis heute oft unzugänglich. Das gilt auch für das Œuvre Matutes, einer der bedeutendsten spanischen Autorinnen der zweiten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Anhand der erhaltenen Zensurakten zu vier Romanen – „Los Abel“, „Luciérnagas“/„En esta tierra“, „Los hijos muertos“ und „La trampa“ – wird zunächst deren unterschiedliches ‚Schicksal‘ zwischen staatlicher Zensur und forcierter Selbstzensur rekonstruiert. Die daraus gewonnenen Erkenntnisse dienen als Ausgangsbasis für die literaturwissenschaftliche Analyse der individuellen Auswirkungen dieser Eingriffe auf inhaltlicher, struktureller, figürlicher und formal-stilistischer Ebene sowie zur Feststellung des Grads an ‚Co-Autorenschaft‘ der Zensoren, die die Texte im Hinblick auf ihre Konformität mit den etablierten moralischen, politischen und religiösen Normen rezipierten. Darüber hinaus werden Funktionsweise, Irrtümer und Grenzen der literarischen Kontrollinstanz anhand von vier weiteren Werken dargestellt, zu denen „Fiesta al Noroeste“, „Pequeño teatro“, „Los niños tontos“ und „Los soldados lloran de noche“ zählen. Auf diese Art und Weise kann ein umfassender Einblick in die Arbeits- und Funktionsweise der franquistischen Zensurbehörde innerhalb des machtstrukturellen Kontextes des Franco-Regimes gegeben werden.
This research paper contributes to the study of institutionalized censorship of literary texts under Francoism by examining the works of Ana María Matute. As a repressive instrument, censorship served to control, protect against 'critical' content and propagate, enforce and consolidate Francoist dogma. 'Threatening' works were censored because of their communicative content, but also because of the material fixation that characterized them, since the 'feared' statement could continue to have its effect long after the moment of its creation and in many places. The original uncensored text version of many works is therefore often inaccessible to readers even today. This also applies to the oeuvre of Matute, one of the most important Spanish authors of the second half of the 20th century. Using the surviving censorship files for four novels – “Los Abel”, “Luciérnagas”/“En esta tierra”, “Los hijos muertos” and “La trampa” - we first reconstruct their different 'fates' between state censorship and forced self-censorship. The insights gained from this serve as a starting point for the literary analysis of the individual effects of these interventions on the level of content, structure, characters and formal style, as well as for determining the degree of 'co-authorship' of the censors, who only received the texts with regard to their conformity with established moral, political and religious norms. In addition, the functioning, errors and limits of the literary control authority are presented on the basis of four other works, which include “Fiesta al Noroeste”, “Pequeño teatro”, “Los niños tontos” and “Los soldados lloran de noche”. In this way, a comprehensive insight can be given into the working and functioning of the censorship authority within the power structure context of the Franco regime.

Abstract:
En este estudio comparamos dos novelas españolas del género fantástico – Aranmanoth de Ana María Matute y La Emperatriz de los etéreos de Laura Gallego García. Ambas obras tienen tramas parecidas pero están dirigidas a dos grupos diferentes de lectores – jóvenes y adultos. Aplicamos el método comparativo, es decir, identificamos y analizamos las similitudes y las diferencias en cuanto a los elementos fantásticos presentes en ambas novelas con el propósito de analizar las consecuencias en la literatura para estos dos grupos de lectores. Asimismo nos interesan las razones de las similitudes y las diferencias, las cuales buscamos sobre todo, en los antecedentes de las autoras, los diferentes grupos de lectores y la gran influencia de los cuentos de hadas en este género fantástico.   Los elementos fantásticos que analizamos se encuentran en las categorías del motivo, el entorno y los personajes. Algunos de los ejemplos más conocidos de estas categorías son el viaje de aventura, la presencia de la magia y el mundo de imaginación pero asimismo se presentan elementos menos esperados como la importancia de los cuentos y las apariencias de los personajes. Dado que el lenguaje es un elemento diferenciador muy evidente cuando se compara la literatura juvenil con la de adultos, lo excluimos de la investigación.   Concluimos que existe una concordancia clara entre muchos elementos fantásticos en las dos novelas. A pesar de esto, las historias no dan la impresión de ser iguales. En la novela para adultos, por ejemplo, el elemento mágico es más complejo debido en parte a la gran cantidad de símbolos utilizados lo cual hace más difícil su comprensión. Además las autoras tienen objetivos diferentes con respecto a lo fantástico y este hecho afecta en gran medida la narración de las historias. Por consiguiente, los jóvenes posiblemente no entiendan toda la magnitud del elemento mágico intrincado en el libro para adultos y los adultos por su parte encuentren los elementos mágicos un poco simples en el libro juvenil. Sin embargo, es probable que los dos grupos distintos de lectores, puedan disfrutar la lectura de ambas novelas siempre y cuando tengan interés por el género.

Abstract:
Renowned Spanish author, Ana Mari­a Matute, lived through the violent and uncertain years of the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939) and the Franco dictatorship (1939-1975) that followed. Her writing is a reflection of the dysfunctional society that was left in the wake of decades of social upheaval and it serves as a greater metaphor for the national identity crisis Spain experienced in the 20th Century. The intent of this study is to demonstrate how trauma and memory influence individual and national identity formation in selected short stories by Matute. Little study has been done on the role of trauma and memory in this type of narrative despite the frequent presence of trauma in Spanish literature. Further, insufficient academic attention has been given to Matute's short fiction relative to her novels.The characters in Matute's short fiction are dominated by violent and antisocial behavior that results from living in severely fragmented environments where both physical and mental cruelty and the absence of the nuclear family are commonplace. Matute's characters that suffer from traumatic events frequently fail to recover their former identity and remain in posttraumatic states, inhibiting healthy personal development and involvement with others in society. The memory of traumatic events dominates their persona and the characters are unable to distinguish the past from the present, causing a crisis of identity. In addition, Matute's characters can rarely rely on the community at large or family for support; this further propels them into isolation and negatively impacts their sense of self. Although Matute's literature is fictional, one can infer the toll of the Civil War and the dictatorship on the Spanish nation and its identity.

Recognized with the prestigious Cervantes Prize awarded by the Ministry of Culture of Spain, the author Ana María Matute is considered one of the most important writers in contemporary Spanish literature. She also was awared the Planeta Prize, the National Literature Prize, the Lazarrillo Prize, the Critics'' Prize, the National Prize for Children''s and Young People''s Literature, the Spanish National Literature Prize and the Nadal Prize, etcetera. The author, in addition, was a member of the Royal Spanish Academy. The theme of most of the works and stories, apart from the lost childhood and the absence of the mother, consists essentially in the incarnation of the influence of the Spanish Civil War and, at the same time, the concern for the poor and the social condemnation. This present work aims at an approach to the literary work El tiempo, namely, analyze the stories through the influence of war as the main theme in the work, which can decipher the panorama of the great era. In the stories, it is perceived that the impact of the war is of great significance. This thesis tries to justify that the correspondence of the Spanish Civil War, as a fundamental nucleus, with the goal of verifying the viability of the Reflection Theory proposed by the Hungarian philosopher Georg Lukács, to the work in which it is characterized by Utopía, hostilidad e ironía as can be inferred from the stories. That is to say, the evolution and the aftermath of the Spanish Civil War is effectively the source of the stories. With the aim of searching the spanish social reality, through the Lukácsian doctrine, the main subject comes from the stories. In this way, the essence under the stories, through Lukás''s thought, will be revealed very clearly between the letters. Therefore, from the analysis of the stories, based on the Reflection Theory by Georg Lukács, the study that reflects that time and spanish society is proposed.

The main purpose of this project is to understand how a brand can differentiate itself in a mature market, having as key drivers the Brand Experience and Brand Communication Management. In this case, these conceptual models will be applied to Garnier’s deodorant brand – Narta. Narta is a ten years old brand in Portugal of deodorants, sold in the mass-market circuit and with a flat performance in the last years. "What people really desire are not products but satisfying experiences" (Abbot, 1955). This quote highlights the increasing importance of experiencing a brand and how it can lead to a powerful and unique differentiation strategy. Regarding Brand Experience dimension, the constructs of parity and similarity will be analyzed and, in order to provide a strong differentiation, the Isomorphic Change Model will help us to guide the management of external and internal pressures that pushes into similarity and parity. At last, a brief look at the Herzberg’s motivational theory will be performed in order to fully understand the positive impact of a brand differentiation in the consumers’ satisfaction/dissatisfaction dichotomy. Communicating such difference will make a brand valuable and considered when the purchase act occurs. Matching the importance of the consumer journey with an Integrated Marketing Communication plan, Narta will be able to communicate its new positioning and enhance its performance. This study will not only take in consideration market insights from Nielsen but also shopper and consumer insights in both quantitative and qualitative ways from independent agencies. These studies will help to establish a proper conclusion about the brand’s perception and the brand’s competitiveness when comparing with other deodorants brands in Portugal. Hence, this project aims to diagnose the reason beyond the flat performance of Narta and implement a new positioning, expressed with the proper Marketing Communication Plan. Matching the theory with the reality of daily business will lead to a positive impact on Narta’s performance in the deodorant market, helping the brand to reach its fair position in awareness and image fields while leveraging its sales in this competitive and mature but huge market.
O principal objetivo deste projeto é perceber como uma marca se consegue diferenciar num mercado maduro, tendo como principais vetores a Gestão da Experiência e da Comunicação da Marca. Neste caso, iremos aplicar os modelos conceptuais serão aplicados à marca de desodorizantes Narta, de Garnier. Narta é uma marca presente há dez anos em Portugal no segmento de desodorizantes, comercializada no circuito dos Produtos de Grande Consumo, mas com uma performance estável nos últimos anos. "O que as pessoas realmente desejam não são produtos, mas experiências que as satisfaçam" (Abbot, 1955). Esta citação sublinha a importância crescente da Experiência de Marca e como ela pode conduzir a uma estratégia de diferenciação. Considerando a Experiência de Marca, os conceitos de paridade e semelhança serão analisados e, de modo a tornar possível a diferenciação, o Modelo da Mudança Isomórfica irá permitir gerir as pressões internas e externas que conduzem à paridade e/ou à semelhança. Por último, realizaremos uma breve análise da teoria motivacional de Herzberg para perceber o impacto positivo da diferenciação da marca na dicotomia satisfação/dessatisfação dos consumidores. Comunicar tal diferença irá tornar a marca mais valiosa e considerada aquando do ato de compra. Combinando a importância do caminho do consumidor em direção à compra com um Plano de Comunicação Integrado, Narta será então capaz de comunicar o seu novo posicionamento e, por consequente, melhorar a sua performance. Este estudo terá em consideração não só dados de mercado providenciados pela Nielsen mas também dados de comprador e consumidor, quantitativos e qualitativos, providenciados por agências independentes. Estes estudos irão ajudar a inferir acerca da perceção e competitividade da marca, em comparação com as restantes marcas de desodorizantes em Portugal. Em jeito de conclusão, propomo-nos a diagnosticar as razões que estão por detrás da performance estável da marca Narta e implementar um novo posicionamento, comunicado com um plano de Comunicação Integrado próprio. Combinando a teoria com a realidade diária do negócio, o projeto irá criar um impacto positivo no desempenho de Narta permitindo que atinja a sua justa posição em termos de awareness e imagem e ao mesmo tempo incrementar as suas vendas neste competitivo, maduro, mas relevante mercado.

Abstract:
This thesis is studying the destination image of an emerging tourist destination – Sofia, Bulgaria. The city’s number of foreign tourists has increased with 18 per cent in 2017. As destination image has been proven to be an important factor influencing significantly both pre-visit and post-visit intentions, the city is in pressing need to create a strong image in tourists’ minds. Based on previous literature, a conceptual model investigating the relationships between the different components of destination image, tourism satisfaction, intention to recommend, and post-visit intentions towards Bulgarian products was proposed and tested. Destination image was studied with three components – cognitive, affective, and unique. The latter has been often overlooked in previous studies and there is not much clarity about its conceptualization and measurement. This study provides more information about the concept but it also proposes a new method of measuring it through text-mining of user-generated blog posts. A questionnaire was distributed to 314 foreign visitors of Sofia. The data analysis methods included descriptive statistics, principal component analysis, and multiple linear regressions. The results reveal that the unique image has a significant influence on all constructs, however, it is the affective which has the strongest impact. Moreover, the traditional affective image has the strongest influence on overall image and tourism satisfaction, which in turns has the strongest impact on traditional word-of-mouth. Cognitive image has influence on all constructs except on electronic word-of-mouth. Finally, post-visit intentions towards Bulgarian products are influenced by all variables, with the exception of tourism satisfaction.
Esta tese tem como objetivo estudar a imagem de um destino turístico emergente - Sofia, Bulgária. Dado que o número de turistas estrangeiros na cidade aumentou 18% em 2017 e sendo a imagem de um destino considerada um fator importante na influência das intenções de pré-visita e pós-visita, Sofia necessita de criar uma imagem forte na mente dos turistas. Um modelo conceptual, que investiga as relações entre as diferentes componentes da imagem, a satisfação do turista, a intenção de recomendar e as intenções pós-visita face aos produtos búlgaros, foi proposto e testado. A imagem do destino foi estudada com três componentes - cognitiva, afetiva e única. Esta última tem sido muitas vezes ignorada na literatura e não há muita clareza sobre a sua conceptualização e medição. Este tese fornece mais informações sobre este construto, mas também propõe um método para a sua medição através da extração de textos de posts gerados por utilizadores de blogs. Aplicou-se um questionário a 314 turistas de Sofia. Os métodos de análise centraram-se em análises de componentes principais e regressões lineares múltiplas. Os resultados revelam que a imagem única influencia todos os construtos, no entanto, é a afetiva que tem o impacto mais forte. Além disso, a imagem afetiva tradicional tem a maior influência na imagem geral e na satisfação, o que, por sua vez, tem o impacto mais forte na WOM. A imagem cognitiva influencia todos os construtos, exceto eWOM. Finalmente, as intenções pós-visita aos produtos búlgaros são influenciadas por todas as variáveis, com exceção da satisfação.

UA : Дипломна робота – 74 стор., 54 джерела. Об’єкт дослідження: твори малої прози. Мета роботи: виявлення мовних закономірностей, що складають основу малої прози А. М. Матуте як цілісної системи, яка відображає своєрідність ідіостилю письменниці. Теоретико-методологічні засади: дослідженням стилістичних особливостей малої прози займалися такі вітчизняні та зарубіжні вчені як В. В. Виноградов, М. М. Гіршман, В. А. Кухаренко, Л. І. Тімофєєв, Н. Л. Лейдерман, Р. Т. Белл, M. García-Viñó, J. C. Curutchet. Отримані результати : у рамках роботи були виділені жанрові особливості малої прози та розглянуті аспекти інтерпретації поняття «ідіостиль». Було встановлено, що однією з першочергових характеристик ідіостилю Ани Марії Матуте виступає концепція дитинства, яка висвітлена за допомогою мотивних опозицій. Виконуючи стилеутворюючу функцію, опозиційні відносини активно проявляються як у прямій формі художнього психологізму, так і за допомогою невербальних засобів. Аналіз розповідей показав, що структурно-композиційні компоненти творів виділяються на декількох структурних рівнях, а саме, сюжетна композиція оповідань, структурна побудова текстів і заголовок. Була також встановлена роль наратора як стилеутворюючого центру розповідей та одного з елементів унікального наративного світу. Найбільш репрезентативною в плані дослідження лінгво -поетичних особливостей збірки є виділення лексико-семантичних полів, а також, використання стилістичних прийомів, серед яких виокремлені порівняння та персоніфікація.
IS : El objeto del estudio en este trabajo es la narración corta. El objetivo consiste en identificar las peculiaridades lingüísticas que individualizan la narración corta de A.M. Matute. La base teórica y metodológica : los principios fundamentales de la teoría de la estilística, desarrollados en lingüística (V.V. Vinogradov, M.M. Girshman, V.A. Kujarenko, L.I. Timofeev, N.L. Leyderman, M. García-Viñó, J.C. Curutchet). La primera parte de la tesina se dedica al estudio de la narración corta como un género literario de breve extensión, ambientes cortos y pocos personajes. A continuación, se hace un repaso crítico de la terminología utilizada para denominar el estilo individual del autor y se analizan los criterios esenciales de su caracterización. Se ha hecho especial hincapié en los datos biográficos de A. M. Matute que han dejado huella en sus obras. En segundo lugar, se han revisado los textos de la narración corta de A. M. Matute y en ellos se han podido hallar algunas de las señas particulares de una manera personal de expresar su visión del mundo. Se analiza el mundo narrativo cerrado de la autora y se postula que la parte de este mundo se forja por la convivencia de la mirada inocente de los niños con la desencantadora visión de los adultos. Además, prestamos atención a las funciones del narrador y la manera de influir en diferentes aspectos de la obra, la descripción de los personajes, la subjetividad y la expresividad. La tesina se centra, también, en el examen de los campos léxico-semánticos y nominaciones coloristas, realizando el predominio de las unidades léxicas dotadas de la connotación negativa. Además, se investigan los recursos estilísticos , entre los cuales se destacan la comparación y la personificación.

Las galaxias, grupos y cúmulos, representan los mayores sistemas ligados de materia, y por ello proveen información invaluable sobre el surgimiento, formación y evolución de estructuras en el universo. Es también frecuente referirse a estos sistemas como halos de materia, o simplemente halos. En esta tesis se analiza la dinámica de estos objetos, en un amplio rango de masas y escalas. Como es sabido, la estructura en gran escala del universo puede ser descripta, en primera aproximación, como un campo gaussiano en densidad completamente caracterizado por su espectro de potencias. Dicho espectro se aproxima a una ley de potencias, en un amplio rango de escalas. Los campos en densidad que siguen esta ley presentan ciertas características fractales, tales como la autosimilitud de estructuras a diferentes escalas. Luego podemos esperar, si bien no autosimilitud estricta, cierto grado de uniformidad en la fenomenología y teoría de los halos de materia, en un amplio rango de escalas y masas. Por lo cual es posible incluir objetos astronómicos de diferentes tamaños y masas, como galaxias, grupos de galaxias y grandes cúmulos, en un análisis cualitativo unificado.
