Abstract:
This thesis seeks to explicate, and develop an appropriate method for the elucidation of, the antecedents to the theology of William Blake in the writings of the seventeenth-century divine, Peter Sterry (1613-1672). While the radical religious scene of the English Revolution has long been recognised as offering important antecedents to Blake's thought, Sterry is a figure who has largely been overlooked. The exception to this is an essay, published in 1929, in which Vivian de Sola Pinto asserted the existence of 'startling affinities' between their ideas. Pinto's study was, however, limited by its failure to consider, firstly, the implications of its findings for our general understanding of the antecedents to Blake's thought in the seventeenth century and, secondly, the insight Sterry's writings may be able to offer into Blake's theological vision. These are the very questions at the heart of this dissertation. By addressing them, it seeks to shed new light on the nature of Blake's theology and its anticipations in earlier English thought. Given the lack of evidence that Blake read Sterry, and the limited effectiveness of the 'genealogical' method when it comes to Blake, it pioneers a bespoke 'analogical' method for the exploration of these issues. It proposes that Sterry is actually closer to the intellectual milieu of Commonwealth radicalism than one might expect and that his writings function effectively as a lens through which it is possible to discern how Blake consistently uses 'dualistic' language and imagery in an ethical and epistemological sense. The first finding suggests that the established view of the radical religious environment in Blake studies needs to be extended; the second challenges the widespread perception that Blake's thought is ultimately dualistic in an ontological sense, thus contributing to the elucidation of a perennial problem for Blake scholarship. Together, they underline Sterry's importance as a neglected theological precursor to the thought of William Blake.

Ce travail propose de lire un moment de l’histoire littéraire française à travers le prisme de l’animal, et plus particulièrement de ses représentations anthropomorphes. À partir de la littérature et de la pensée du xixe siècle, il s’agit de complexifier une définition restrictive de la notion d’anthropomorphisme en réfléchissant au statut de l’animal dans l’imaginaire romantique. L’anthropomorphisme est traditionnellement considéré comme une perception du monde naïve et spontanée et cette tendance à douer les choses et les êtres d’émotions, d’intentions ou de réactions supposées propres aux hommes repose sur un raisonnement analogique qui est à l’origine de genres littéraires aussi universels que la fable ou d’autres types d’apologues, qui héritent de ce préjugé de simplicité : l’anthropomorphisme serait ce mode de représentation non réaliste, divertissant voire comique, qui n’instruit qu’au prix d’une distorsion de la réalité. Au xixe siècle émerge une nouvelle conception de l’animal, en rupture avec celle de l’âge classique. L’histoire naturelle et la pensée romantique découvrent des parentés profondes entre l’homme et l’animal, qui donnent à l’anthropomorphisme un fondement épistémologique et philosophique, mais aussi affectif et politique, puisque l’idée d’une continuité entre les vivants est l’un des piliers de l’argumentation républicaine en faveur de la protection, puis du droit des animaux, depuis la période révolutionnaire. À partir d’un corpus littéraire, philosophique et scientifique, et d’une attention à l’histoire des animaux, de leur statut et de leurs traitements, ce travail voudrait dresser un panorama des paradigmes analogiques par lesquels les hommes ont pensé leurs liens aux animaux dans la première moitié du xixe siècle. Cette période apparaîtra ainsi comme un moment important de la reconfiguration du symbolisme animal, qui invente une forme d’allégorie réaliste, conciliant souci de l’animal et confiance en l’analogie
This work attempts to read a moment of French literary history through the lens of animals, and more specifically anthropomorphic representations of them. From the 19th literature and thought, it will put forward a less restrictive definition of the notion of anthropomorphism by considering the status of animals in the romantic imaginary. Anthropomorphism is traditionally perceived as a naïve and spontaneous perception of the world. This tendency to endow things and beings with emotions, intentions or reactions supposedly inherent to humans is based on an analogical thinking that underlies literary genres as universal as fables or other kinds of apologues, that are also seen as simple, as if anthropomorphism was only this non-realistic, entertaining and even comical, mode of representation, that educates only thanks to a distortion of reality. During the 19th century, a new conception of animals emerges, breaking with the classical era. Natural history and romantic philosophy discover deep similarities between men and animals, that provide anthropomorphism with an epistemological and philosophical basis, but also affective and political ones, since the idea of a continuity between the being is one of the pillars of republican thinking on animal protection and animal rights since the Revolution. Looking at literary, philosophical and scientific texts, but also at the history of animals, at their status and treatments, this work would like to provide an overview of analogical paradigms through which men have conceived their relationships with animals over the first half of the 19th century. This period will therefore appear as an important moment of the reconfiguration of animal symbolism, inventing a type of realistic allegory, combining the concern for animals and a faith in analogical thinking

Abstract:
I denna studie tar vi reda på hur motivation kommer till uttryck när elever skriver berättande text samt hur olika skrivverktyg påverkar elevers sätt att arbeta med berättande text. Syftet med undersökningen är också att observera läraren i klassrummet och se om läraren har någon koppling till elevernas motivation. Undersökningen genomförs i två olika kommuner i två olika årskurs 4 med totalt 24 elever. Metoderna vi använder oss av är observation med observationsschema samt frågeformulär där eleverna har möjlighet att svara hur de tänker angående analogt och digitalt skrivande. Varje elev skrev två olika berättande texter med hjälp av sagokort som är ett hjälpmedel som kan användas i skrivprocessen. Sagokorten föreställer karaktärer och platser. Resultatet visade att eleverna i större utsträckning föredrog att skriva digitalt jämfört med analogt. Det visade sig också att de digitala texterna blev längre, då eleverna snabbare kom igång med sitt skrivande och då skrivverktyget inte var ett hinder. Lärarens roll var också viktig i kombination med skrivverktyget för elevernas motivation att skriva en berättande text.

Abstract:
Syftet med studien är att undersöka elevernas skrivutveckling i årskurs ett när digitalt och analogt skrivande används, utifrån lärares uppfattningar och erfarenheter. Studien baseras på en kvalitativ metod där fem semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförs med fem verksamma lärare som arbetar eller har arbetat i årskurs ett. Resultatet av undersökningen visar att lärarna har en positiv syn på digitala verktyg och digitalt skrivande. Dessvärre är tillgången till digitala verktyg fortfarande ett hinder i skolorna som gör att lärarna inte kan utnyttja digitaliseringen så mycket som önskat. Lärarna poängterar att det är lika viktigt att behålla det analoga skrivandet och inte låta det försvinna. I årskurs ett anser lärarna att det är viktigt att skriva analogt vilket oftast blir av sig själv med tanke på tillgången som är bristande, för att i högre åldrar inkludera mer digitalt skrivande. I intervjuerna får lärarna besvara frågor om det arbetssätt de använder, vilket material de använder i undervisningen och även frågor som handlar om deras utbildning.

Studiens syfte är att jämföra hur elevers narrativa texter i årskurs 6 skiljer sig åt beroende på om de skrivs med hjälp av analoga skrivverktyg eller digitala skrivverktyg med ordbehandlingsprogram. Studien omfattar åtta elevtexter som analyserats utifrån aspekterna stavning, särskrivning samt felanvändning av versaler och gemener. En teoretisk utgångspunkt som studien utgått från är det sociokulturella perspektivets tankesätt om medierande redskap, där dessa redskap i vår studie är penna och tangentbord. Den andra teoretiska utgångspunkten är kognitivismen med fokus på kognitiva och sensomotoriska processers betydelse för elevers textskrivande. Resultatet visade att eleverna hade betydligt fler fel i sina analoga texter jämfört med de digitala gällande stavfel och felanvändning av versaler och gemener men däremot utmärkte sig resultatet för särskrivning eftersom inga skillnader blev framträdande oavsett vilket skrivverktyg som användes. Som förväntat presterade eleverna bättre i sina digitala texter där mycket går att koppla till det ordbehandlingsprogram som eleverna fick hjälp av. En annan viktig iakttagelse är att de analoga texterna innehöll oroväckande mycket fel vilket kan innebära att analoga texter skrivs allt mer sällan och att elever därför går miste om viktiga förmågor kopplat till de kognitiva och sensomotoriska processerna. Med andra ord visar resultatet att valet av medierande redskap har betydelse för elevernas skrivande.

À la fin du XVIIe siècle, la dissolution du pacte allégorique semblait avoir à tout jamais disjoint la fable et le conte, la première prenant en charge seule un but didactique et le second se définissant comme un récit pur, sans intention de transmettre un quelconque message. Paradoxalement, de la fin du XVIIe siècle jusqu'aux années 1775, un nombre important de contes affichent, dès leurs seuils (titres, épigraphes, frontispices, préfaces), une fonction cognitive : on assiste à l'émergence d'une nouvelle catégorie du conte, qui se réconcilie avec les savoirs. Cette thèse vise à montrer que la portée philosophique et morale de ce sous-genre réside moins dans le message transmis que dans le mode de déchiffrement qu'il induit et dans la singularité de l'expérience qu'il fait vivre au lecteur. Les contes à visée morale et philosophique ne sont pas des illustrations d'une thèse préalable, ils déclenchent la réflexion du lecteur grâce à un dispositif narratif particulier, qui repose sur un pacte de lecture non plus allégorique, mais analogique : le lecteur est amené à faire des liens entre ce qui a priori est sans rapport, à prendre une posture critique à l'égard de tous les discours (notamment religieux, politiques, pseudo-scientifiques et même fictionnels), et à s'interroger sur lui-même, en somme à être philosophe, au sens où l'entendait le XVIIIe siècle. Après avoir repéré les constantes structurelles et thématiques de ces textes, aussi divers soient-ils, nous étudions l'entremêlement des discours philosophiques et moraux et de la fiction, dans les contes de Fénelon, Montesquieu, Saint-Hyacinthe, Crébillon, Diderot, Rousseau, Voltaire et Marmontel.

ABSTRACT And concrete diction Carl Jonas Love Almqvist’s Drottningens juvelsmycke (The Queen's Tiara; 1834) is, along with Amorina, the work primarily associated with the ”poetic fugue” – a concept the author develops in ”Om enheten av epism och dramatism; en aning om den poetiska fugan” (”On the unity of epism and dramatism; a notion of the poetic fugue”; 1821); an essay often considered vague and theoretical by researchers in the field. The meaning of the poetic fugue has been regarded unclear, but mainly considered as some kind of synthesis of epic and dramatic writing. This essay argues that that is not the case, and that this one-dimensional approach both limits the interpretations of the essay and the poetic fugue as a whole. From a multidisciplinary perspective, with myself and my own reader as a part of the fugue itself, the aim of this essay is to highlight a very important overseen aspect of the poetic fugue, and Almqvist’s writing in general – the connections to mathematics, the analogies between abstract and concrete levels, and how these are deeply intertwined. The results in this essay are derived from a close reading technique based on mathematical problem solving called the ideotic method (den ideotiska metoden), and analyzed with Douglas Hofstadter's theory of Strange loops in Gödel, Escher, Bach – an eternal golden braid (1979). This analysis shows that this analogy is not just about the composition of a poetic piece of art, a synthesis of epic and dramatic writing, or the relation between music and text. Instead the results do point to an alternative interdisciplinary interpretation, where the relations between parts and units, realities and fictions, readers and texts, make the poetic fugue more of an analogy for the universe as a whole – a living and breathing ”animal coeleste” in contrast to the Newtonian ”mechanical coeleste”. An analogy which, thanks to its mathematical construction and way of looking at time as non-linear, is connected to both Einstein’s theory of relativity and quantum theory – the science of the very big and the very small, parts and units, of everything, including ourselves.

Denna undersökning har genomförts genom en kvalitativ metod med det sociokulturella perspektivet som teoretisk ansats. Syftet med studien är att bidra till ökad kunskap om lärares erfarenheter av att arbeta med skrivande, analogt såväl som digitalt, för att utveckla elevers läsning i ämnet svenska i grundskolans årskurs F-3. Resultatet visar att de lärare som deltagit i studien har många olika erfarenheter när det kommer till användandet av analoga och digitala verktyg i läsundervisningen. Majoriteten av de lärare som besvarat enkäten är dock eniga i att det bästa är att kombinera de båda verktygen för att individanpassa undervisningen och ge alla elever bästa förutsättningar att ta sig vidare i sin läsutveckling.

Abstract:
Syftet med studien är att öka kunskapen om lärares didaktiska arbete i skolämnet svenska med fokus på analogt och digitalt skrivande. Studien som är av kvalitativt slag bygger på tio semistrukturerade intervjuer med svensklärare på mellanstadiet som arbetar på fyra olika skolor inom samma kommun, där två av skolorna arbetar enligt modellen STL (skriva sig till lärande) och två av skolorna inte har någon uttalad modell kopplad till undervisningen, i syfte att undersöka om det fanns några skillnader hos dessa lärare. Som teoretisk ansats används ramverket TPACK i syfte att beskriva hur lärarna använder digitala verktyg i sin skrivundervisning och teori om kognitiva skrivprocesser används i syfte att belysa hur elevers skrivande förändras beroende på vilket skrivverktyg som används. Resultatet i studien visar bland annat att lärarna som arbetar enligt STL har fått mer kompetensutveckling kopplat till digitala verktyg och digitalt skrivande samt att de har en mer samstämmig syn på hur de digitala verktygen ska användas i undervisningen för att gynna eleverna mest möjligt, jämfört med de lärare som inte arbetar efter någon uttalad modell.

The figure of the monster haunts the mankind since the dawn of the world. However, apparently the man still did not realize that these monsters are a reflection of the fears, deformities and deviations of character living inside of it. The monsters are part of the Western tradition and this paper aims at analyzing the historical development of a profile of monsters entity, through an analogy between the Gothic novel Frankenstein, by Mary Shelley and the film A pele que habito, by Pedro Almodóvar.
A figura do monstro assombra a humanidade desde os primórdios do mundo. Todavia, aparentemente, o homem ainda não percebeu que estes monstros são um reflexo dos medos, deformidades e desvios de caráter que vivem dentro dele. Os monstros fazem parte da tradição ocidental e o principal objetivo deste trabalho é analisar historicamente a construção do perfil da entidade monstro, por meio de uma analogia entre o romance gótico Frankenstein, de Mary Shelley e o filme A pele que habito, de Pedro Almodóvar.

The twentieth-century project of American rhetorician Kenneth Burke, grounded in a magic-based theory of language, reveals a path to the origins of what I am going to call occult invention. The occult, which I define as a symbol set of natural terms derived from supernatural terms, employs a method of heuresis based on a metaphor-like process I call analogic extension. Traditional invention fell from use shortly after the Liberal Arts reforms of Peter Ramus, around 1550. Occult invention emerged nearly simultaneously, when Early Modern British authors began using occult symbols as tropes in what I refer to as the Occult Mode. I use six of these authors--George Chapman, William Shakespeare, John Donne, Abraham Cowley, John Dryden, and Jonathan Swift--as examples of how occult invention arises. In appropriating occult symbolism, authors in the Occult Mode began using the invention methods of the occult arts of magic, alchemy, astrology, and cabala to derive new meanings, transform language, develop characters and plots, and reorient social perspectives. As we learn in tracking Burke's project, occult invention combines the principles of Aristotle's rhetoric and metaphysics with the techniques and principles of the occult arts. Occult invention fell from use around the end of the eighteenth century, but its rhetorical influence reemerged through the work of Burke. In this study I seek to contextualize and explicate some of the literary sources and rhetorical implications of occult invention as an emergent field for further research.

Denna studie undersöker antalet av den multimodala resursen som kan kategoriseras som fotografi som finns representerat i fyra stycken läromedel för kursen Svenska 1 på gymnasiet. Undersökningsmaterialet avgränsas till de arbetsområden som behandlar de fiktivt berättande genrerna lyrik, epik och dramatik i läromedlen. Med ett urval av tre stycken fotografier från varje läromedel analyseras också samspelet mellan den multimodala resursen och den tillhörande texten. Dessutom undersöker studien om det råder några likheter eller skillnader för fotografierna gällande deras kommunikationssyfte och potential som meningsskapande. Undersökningen tar avstamp i den socialsemiotiska teorin på multimodalitet och genom både en kvantitativ och kvalitativ metodansats besvaras frågeställningarna. Studien visar att antalet fotografier som används som multimodal resurs är jämt i tre av fyra undersökta läromedel. Ett av läromedlen använder en mindre mängd fotografier som multimodal resurs. Undersökningen visar också att det råder ett samspel mellan fotografiet och den tillhörande texten i de flesta av exemplen med ett fåtal undantag. Studien uppmärksammar dessutom likheter och skillnader mellan fotografiernas kommunikationssyften och potentialer som meningsskapande.

Syftet med denna studie är att bidra med insikter om och hur digitala verktyg kan stödja elevernas skrivande av berättande texter samt om och hur digitala verktyg påverkar elevernas motivation. Det är totalt 53 elever från årskurs 3 som deltar i studien varav varje elev har skrivit två berättande texter vardera, en med digitalt verktyg och en med papper och penna. Texterna analyserades utefter följande parametrar: struktur för en berättande text, menings-byggnad med stor och liten bokstav samt interpunktion, antal rättstavade form- och innehållsord och antal skrivna ord. Utöver det studeras även elevernas motivation i förhållande till de olika skrivverktygen. I studien utgår vi från det sociokulturella perspektivet som grundteori medan vi använder begrepp rörande berättande texters struktur och språkstruktur för analys av elevtexterna. Resultatet visar att skillnader kan urskiljas mellan de texter som är skrivna digitalt och de som är skrivna analogt. Vårt undersökningsmaterial visar på flera sätt att eleverna i större utsträckning utvecklade sina digitalt skrivna texter i relation till analysparametrarna jämfört med de analogt skrivna texterna. Resultatet visar även att majoriteten av eleverna är mer motiverade att skriva med digitalt verktyg än med papper och penna. Orsaken bakom de skillnader som framgår i studien är dock något som kan diskuteras. Studien och dess resultat är endast en indikation på hur det undersökta kan se ut och kan därmed användas som utgångspunkt för vidare forskning.

O tema desta Dissertação de Mestrado é a análise dos conceitos de analogia e assurreição (objetos formais) na obra Soledades (objeto material) de Luis de Góngora, bem como suas implicações filosóficas e formais. Pretendi fazer uma análise do poema, tendo em vista perseguir a seguinte hipótese: a desmesura e a desproporção que as Soledades apresentam não são fruto de um mero capricho estilístico. Elas nascem de uma intervenção do furor poético, entendido como furor divino. Góngora teve acesso a essas concepções mediante o influxo de ideias herméticas e neoplatônicas na Península Ibérica. Tais influxos são responsáveis por uma amplificação especialmente aguda da doutrina da analogia. O desdobramento máximo dessa ênfase no princípio da analogia é propriamente a assurreição, tal como definida por Claude-Gilbert Dubois. A partir desses elementos, esta Dissertação de Mestrado pretendeu proceder a uma análise de alguns motivos, cenas e trechos do poema narrativo Soledades, de Luis de Góngora y Argote, mostrando como ele elabora a doutrina da analogia de proporcionalidade e em que momento essa analogia aguda produz a assurreição, ou seja, o corte transversal na hierarquia dos corpos institucionais, movimento este em geral entendido em termos teológicos e políticos como heresia. Por outro lado, há a importante relação entre hermetismo, neoplatonismo e literatura na Renascença, bem como a maneira pela qual a doutrina do furor poético se infiltrou nas artes e na poesia espanholas por via italiana nos séculos XVI e XVII. Concentrei-me no conceito de assurreição e na análise do deslocamento metafísico-teológico das analogias de proporcionalidade presentes nas Soledades, cotejando-as com a distribuição dos lugares naturais de cada elemento do cosmos, fixada sobretudo por Santo Tomás de Aquino, a maior autoridade da teologia católica na Península Ibérica do século XVII
The theme of this Master Thesis is the analysis of the concepts of analogy and assurreição (formal objects) in the work Soledades (material object) of Luis de Góngora, as well as formal and philosophical implications. Wanted to do an analysis of the poem in order to pursue the following hypothesis: the excesses and the disproportion that Soledades have are not the result of a stylistic whim. They are born of an intervention poetic furor, understood as divine wrath. Góngora had access to these conceptions by the influx of Hermetic and Neoplatonic ideas in Iberia. Such inflows are responsible for a particularly acute amplification of the doctrine of analogy. The splitting up of this emphasis on the principle of analogy is properly assurreição as defined by Claude-Gilbert Dubois. From these elements, this Dissertation intended to carry out an analysis of some reasons, scenes and snippets of narrative poem Soledades, Luis de Góngora y Argote, showing how he prepares the doctrine of proportionality and analogy in that moment that analogy acute assurreição produces, ie the cross section in the hierarchy of institutional bodies, this movement generally understood in theological and political terms as heresy. On the other hand, there is the important relationship between Hermeticism, Neoplatonism and literature in the Renaissance, as well as the manner in which the doctrine of poetic fury seeped in arts and poetry by Italian Spanish in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries. I focused on the concept of assurreição and analysis of the shifting metaphysical and theological analogies of proportionality present in Soledades, comparing them with the distribution of natural places for each element of the cosmos, basically fixed by St. Thomas Aquinas, the greatest authority of Catholic theology in seventeenth-century Iberian Peninsula

Syftet med studien är att belysa lärares uppfattningar om hur digitala verktyg kan bidra till motivation hos elever i den tidiga skrivutvecklingen i årskurs 1. Studiens resultat är baserat på en enkätundersökning med 92 deltagande lärare samt en systematisk litteraturstudie med tidigare forskning utifrån studiens utvalda kategorier. Enkätundersökningen består av både kvalitativa och kvantitativa frågor. Studien utgår från det sociokulturella perspektivet med inriktning mot begreppet mediering där en analysprocess används för att analysera studiens resultat. Studien har även sin utgångspunkt i motivationsteorin som fokuserar på hur individen blir motiverad och av vad. I resultatet jämförs enkätsvaren med den systematiska litteraturstudien för att se eventuella likheter och skillnader. Studiens resultat visar att digitala verktyg ofta används i skrivundervisningen men att tillgången till digitala resurser varierar i skolorna vilket kan vara ett hinder för många i undervisningen. Resultatet visar även att 78 av 92 deltagande lärare anser att digitala verktyg motiverar eleverna till att skriva. I studien beskrivs digitala verktyg i form av Ipads och datorer vilket är de vanligast förekommande verktygen i klassrummet.

The starting point of my work will be a selection of films about Dracula.In this thesis, I would like to address the evolution in the representations of Dracula, from physical appearance to changes in the character, as well as the character development within the story.I want to look into this subject from a broad scope: Not only from the cinematographic context, but also from the cultural, historical and dramaturgical context. I'm interested in the evolution of the archetype of immortality in different cultural manifestations, from body embalming through sculpture, painting, photography to film. Furthermore, the thesis will study the reassessment of its symbolism, the phenomena of film remaking and the meaning behind the necessity for repetition and reinterpretation of the myth.This work should also ascertain when the reality becomes myth and why.My sources of information will not be only the selected films, but specialized literature by authors such as M. Eliade, B. Fořt and E.Fromm.

La thèse a comme corpus Le temps retrouvé, de Marcel Proust, et se propose d’aborder la subjectivité dans son articulation avec l’espace-temps et la mémoire, au travers des représentations du corps et de la sensorialité. Trois questions, identifiées au texte proustien, en constituent les prémices: (a) la notion d’identité confrontée aux images multiples et successives du moi; (b) l’importance du corps et de la sensorialité dans l’interaction entre le moi et le monde; et (c) la représentation et l’expression du moi, qui par l’intermédiaire du récit de la totalité des expériences vécues, recherche la construction d’une unité du sens. Relativement à ces questions, nous postulons que – sur le fondement des directions théoriques et méthodologiques du modèle sémiotique analogue-digitale développé par D. del Pino – que l’importance avec laquelle la subjectivité et le corps ont été réintégrés dans le discours de la majorité des sciences humaines; l’impossibilité de concevoir, après la révolution induite par les théories de la relativité et de la mécanique quantique, le temps comme une entité isolée de l’espace; parallèlement, le statut de liminarité, tant de la mémoire que de la subjectivité, proposent des voies spécifiques de lecture, d’analyse et d’interprétation de l’oeuvre. A partir de ces présupposés, la conscience du corps, l’image du moi et la signification du sujet sont analysés à la lumière de la phénoménologie et de la psychanalyse; le rôle du corps et de la sensorialité dans les opérations complexes d’appréhension et de la représention de soi et du monde; le concept d’espace-temps, ainsi que les notions heidegerriènes d’«être-aumonde » et de «temporalité originaire»; le récit du moi et la construction identitaire. Par l’analyse, au travers du discours, des aspects relatifs à l’instance narrative et, au niveau diégétique, de la continuité du moi, fondée entre l’espace-temps et la mémoire, on cherche à démontrer le caractère spatiotemporel des représentations avec lesquelles le Narrateur-Protagoniste du Le temps retrouvé relate la singularité de ses propres expériences preuve que son récit est la construction d’une unité de la conscience de soi, dans laquelle est impliquée la nature analogique de la relation moi-monde.
La tesi ha come corpus Le temps retrouvé, di Marcel Proust, e si propone di presentare la soggettività nella sua articolazione con lo spazio-tempo e la memoria, attraverso le figurazioni del corpo e della sensorialità. Si parte da tre questioni identificate nel testo proustiano: (a) la nozione di identità a fronte delle multiple e successive immagini dell’io; (b) la rilevanza del corpo e della sensorialità nell’interazione tra l’io e il mondo; e (c) la rappresentazione e l’espressione dell’io che cerca, mediante il racconto della totalità delle esperienze vissute, la costruzione dell’unità del senso. Considerando queste questioni, si intende – basandosi sulle proposte teoriche e metodologiche del modello semiotico analogico-digitale sviluppato da D. del Pino – che l’importanza con cui la soggettività ed il corpo vengono reintegrati nel discorso della maggior parte delle scienze umane, l’impossibilità di concepire il tempo come un’entità isolata dello spazio dopo la rivoluzione provocata dalle teorie della relatività e della meccanica quantistica e, parallelamente, lo stato della liminarità, sia della memoria che della soggettività, rendono possibile un’ottica specifica di lettura, analisi ed interpretazione dell’opera. Abstract:
Age-related differences in the strategies (analogic vs. phonic) children use to spell new words were examined. Thirty-eight third-graders and 36 sixth-graders re-spelled nonsense syllables (pseudowords) in as many ways as possible. Analogic vs. phonic strategies were determined through children's reports. Half were then instructed on how to use an analogic strategy on this re-spelling task. The children then re-spelled a second set of pseudowords. Plausibility (accuracy) of re-spellings was also examined. Both age groups increased analogic strategy use after training (p =.016). No developmental difference was found in use of the analogic strategy. The older children generated more plausible spellings than the younger ones (p $<$.001), and children who had received training generated more than those who had not (p =.0003). Although most of the plausible spellings were produced via phonic strategies, children who received analogy training used the analogic strategy on more of their plausible spellings than did controls (p =.001). Findings suggest that children can and do use analogy effectively in spelling new words

Ce mémoire portera sur un aspect négligé de la querelle analogie-anomalie, la position des soi-disant anomalistes. On s'appliquera en effet à confronter le portrait de l'anomaliste présenté par Varron dans son De Lingua Latina, qui passe souvent pour être Cratès de Mallos, à ce que nous connaissons du grammairien à travers les scholies homériques. En un premier temps seront résumés et analysés les livres 8 à 10 du De Lingua Latina, seul témoignage positif au sujet de la querelle. Au deuxième chapitre seront examinés puis rejetées les sources grecques que la critique moderne a jugées perninentes à la reconstruction de la querelle. Une attention particulière sera accordée à l'école empiriste, à laquelle on a voulu associer la supposée école anomaliste. L'attaque de la grammaire par Sextus Empiricus (Adversus Mathematicos I) sera aussi abordée en détail et ce traité antigrammatical sera mis en parallèle avec le livre 8 du De Lingua Latina. Au troisième chapitre la querelle sera enfin remise dans son contexte original, celui des éditions alexandrines et pergaméennes des auteurs classiques, en particulier Homère. Après une historique du développement de la diorthose (correction des manuscrits d'Homère) de Zénodote à Aristarque, un survol des leçons qui sont attribuées à Cratès montrera le désaccord entre les deux protagonistes de la querelle sur la pratique de l'analogie dans l'édition d'un nouveau texte de la poésie homérique. L'apparition d'anomalies grammaticales dans les leçons de Cratès s'explique par la théorie littéraire euphoniste dont il était partisan.
In this thesis a neglected aspect of the analogist-anomalist controversy will be addressed, that is, the position of the so-called anomalists. Namely, we will compare the anomalist sketched by Varro in his De Lingua Latina, who is often taken to be Crates of Mallos, to what we know of this grammarian through the Homeric scholia. First, books 8-10 of the De Lingua Latina, the only positive evidence about the quarrel, will be summarized and analyzed. In the second chapter we will examine and reject the Greek sources which some modern scholars have thought to be useful for the reconstruction of the controversy. Special attention will be paid to the empirical school, to which some have tried to associate the alleged anomalist school. Sextus Empiricus' attack on grammar (Adversus Mathematicos I) will also be addressed in detail. In the third chapter, the controversy will finally be contextualized in its original context, that of the Alexandrian and Pergamene editions of classical authors, especially Homer. After sketching the development of diorthosis (the «correction» of Homer's manuscripts) from Zenodotus to Aristarchus, a survey of the readings attributed to Crates will show the disagreement between the two opponents of the quarrel about the practice of analogy in the editing of a new text of the Iliad and the Odyssey. The appearance of grammatical anomalies in the readings of Crates will be explained by the literary theory of euphony, of which he was a proponent.

From Analogue to Image Retrieval: Concepts of Archival Art in Daniel Blaufuks, seeks to explore a question first triggered by the viewing of Daniel Blaufuks’s Constellation series in his exhibition-project, All the Memory of the World, part one (2014): might digital databases and image retrieval systems be viewed as developments of archival processes and thinking? Has the touted rupture between analogue and digital occurred, or does archival art live in them both? With a career that spans several decades, Blaufuks has been deeply engaged with questions surrounding the Holocaust, exile, memory and postmemory. Photography, film and archival material have been the tools chosen for his excavations; nonetheless, it is impossible to overlook the influence of literature in the artist’s work. Having begun with the appropriation of physical archival material, such as photographic albums, polaroids or slides, Blaufuks has also employed digital images and image-retrieval systems such as Google Image. In the view to proceed with an analysis on the crucial argument of this thesis, I have divided it into to three sections. The first, Daniel Blaufuks: The ‘Material’ Archive, as the name indicates, focuses on considerations on the so-called material archive, meaning the analogue archive. Daniel Blaufuks: Writing with Images, the second section, is devoted to two thematic components of the artist’s oeuvre: memory and literature. Here I equally offer a comparative analysis between Blaufuks and the works of writers Georges Perec and W. G. Sebald. In Daniel Blaufuks: Traversing the Archive, the final section, I return to the theoretical frameworks surrounding the archive, yet one founded on 0s and 1s rather than paper and ink. In writing From Analogue to Image Retrieval: Concepts of Archival Art in Daniel Blaufuks, I strive to illuminate the continuities from analogue to digital archives, and analogue to digital archival art practices. Blaufuks’s ease and breadth in the incorporation of a variety of media into his projects stands as an ideal case study for the exploration of the questions I put forward in this thesis.
From Analogue to Image Retrieval: Concepts of Archival Art in Daniel Blaufuks, explora uma questão desencadeada pela série Constelações de Daniel Blaufuks no seu projeto-exposição, Toda a Memória do Mundo, parte um (2014): poderão bases de dados e sistemas de recuperação de imagens ser vistos como extensões de processos e de concepções do arquivo? Terá a ruptura entre analógico e digital ocorrido, ou será que a arte arquivística é transversal a ambos? Com uma carreira que se estende por várias décadas, Blaufuks tem desenvolvido projectos relacionados com questões em torno do Holocausto, exílio, memória e pós memória. Fotografia, imagem em movimento e material de arquivo são as ferramentas escolhidas pelo artista para as suas escavações; no entanto, é impossível ignorar a influência da literatura na sua obra. Tendo começado com a apropriação de material de arquivo, como álbuns fotográficos, polaroids ou slides, Blaufuks emprega também imagens digitais e motores de busca de imagens como o Google Image nos seus projectos mais recentes. A fim de prosseguir com uma análise da questão central desta tese, a mesma foi dividida em três secções. A primeira, Daniel Blaufuks: The ‘Material’ Archive, tem como foco considerações sobre o arquivo analógico. Já Daniel Blaufuks: Writing with Images, a segunda secção, é dedicada a duas componentes temáticas da obra do artista: memória e literatura. Aqui, procedo igualmente a uma análise comparativa entre Blaufuks e as obras dos escritores Georges Perec e W. G. Sebald. Em Daniel Blaufuks: Traversing the Archive, a secção final, regresso às estruturas teóricas associadas ao arquivo, olhando no entanto para um arquivo construído sobre 0s e 1s ao invés de papel e tinta. Com From Analogue to Image Retrieval: Concepts of Archival Art in Daniel Blaufuks, procuro iluminar continuidades entre arquivos analógicos e digitais, bem como estabelecer paralelos entre o uso de sistemas analógicos e digitais em práticas de arte de arquivo. A facilidade com que Blaufuks integra uma variedade de formatos e média no seu trabalho faz com que o artista seja o estudo de caso ideal para a exploração das questões que apresento nesta tese.

A área da avaliação da validade de sintomas tem assumido uma importância acrescida no domínio da avaliação psicológica. Em contextos forenses, a evidência dos ganhos secundários alcançáveis com a simulação ou exagero de sintomas psicopatológicos e a prevalência deste tipo de comportamentos por parte dos avaliados, constitui um problema relevante. Os Testes de Validade de Sintomas (TVS) têm como objetivo detetar a presença de comportamentos de simulação ou exagero de sintomas permitindo, aos profissionais de saúde metal, realizar interpretações mais fidedignas dos resultados obtidos através de uma avaliação psicológica, de forma a refletir o funcionamento psicológico real do sujeito.Neste âmbito, releva-se a importância das investigações na área, para que os clínicos consigam recorrer à utilização dos TVS com confiança nos seus resultados. Uma das mais comuns metodologias de investigação na simulação de sintomas é o design de simulação análogo, no qual são formados grupos de controlo e de simulação instruída, para estudar a identificação e controlo dos instrumentos ao comportamento referido. No entanto, esta metodologia encontra-se muito associada a críticas relativas à sua fraca validade externa, devido às diferenças existentes entre as condições experimentais e as condições da vida real, nas quais esses comportamentos podem estar presentes. Neste sentido, acresce a importância de serem respeitados certos padrões de construção metodológica nas investigações realizadas, de forma a que as conclusões retiradas sejam generalizadas com confiança. Assim, na presente dissertação, é realizada uma revisão dos estudos existentes com recurso ao design de simulação análogo, com destaque para os contextos forenses (criminal e médico-legal). Considerando o número reduzido de investigações encontradas nestes contextos, são, adicionalmente, apresentados estudos em contextos comunitários. As conclusões retiradas indicam que são, ainda, cometidos diversos erros associados ao desenvolvimento das instruções de simulação, o que coloca em risco a fiabilidade com que são interpretados os comportamentos de simulação reproduzidos pelos “simuladores experimentais”. São feitas recomendações de natureza metodológica orientadas para assegurar um maior grau de representatividade e generalização dos resultados obtidos neste design de simulação análogo para os contextos reais.
Symptom validity assessment is an area becoming increasingly important in the field of psychological assessment. In forensic contexts, the presence of evident secondary gains achievable with malingering or symptom overreporting on the part of the evaluated, and the prevalence of this kind of performance, constitutes a relevant problem. Symptom Validity Tests (SVT) aim to detect the presence of malingered symptomatology, allowing mental health professionals to produce more reliable interpretations of the results obtained through a psychological assessment, in order to reflect the subject’s real psychological functioning.Therefore, the attainment of investigations in the area is highlighted, to help clinicians to resort to the use SVT with confidence in their results. One of the most common investigation methodologies to evaluate the identification and control of malingering by the SVT, is the analogue simulation design, according to which participants are allocated to control or simulation conditions. Nevertheless, this methodology is closely associated with criticisms regarding its weak external validity, due to the differences between the experimental and real-life conditions. Thus, investigators should respect certain methodological standards, so that the conclusions drawn from the investigations are generalized with confidence.In the present dissertation, a review of the existing studies using analogue simulation design is carried out. Emphasis is placed on forensic (criminal and medico-legal) contexts, with addition of community contexts, due to the reduced number of investigations in the first ones. The conclusions drawn indicate several errors associated with the development of simulation instructions, which lays risk in the reliability with which the simulation behaviours reproduced by experimental simulators are interpreted. Methodological recommendations oriented to ensure a higher degree of representativeness and generalization of the results obtained in this analog simulation design are made.

Abstract:
This diploma thesis deals with the genre of intercultural children's literature and the literature for young adults on the example of the analysis of current German works. The used method is a combination of structural analysis of compositional, language and thematic component of the works, content analysis and the theory of reader-response criticism. Based on the analysis of four works, the genre of intercultural literature is defined in the relation with the themes of home, homeland and cultural identity. Home is defined not only as a physical space to live but also in the spiritual sense of the word represented by the family relationships, which mean safety and security to the figures. Homeland is perceived as an extended paralell to home. It is a space which is close to the figures and they can easily understand the relations here. Home and homeland both influence the concept of identity, environment being the most important aspect of it. The figures are in conflict of their roles being assigned to them by their environment and the way they define themselves. If the figures have to choose between their home and homeland, they choose their home in the spiritual sense - their family. If the family fails to fulfil its role, they search for the comfort in their homeland.

Abstract:
This thesis publicly displays the veracity of witchcraft and superstitious fables, which, many people believe to be irrational in nature. In this analysis, semiotics has been paraded in various versions from chapter to chapter-in order to illustrate the miscellaneous interpretations. The backbone of the investigation focuses on the philosophy and psychology of evil, a theoretical belief that is laid down by practical paradigms at the edge of each chapter. The point of departure of this investigation emanates from the Shakespearean literary work, Macbeth, which is popularly known for its inclusion of the witches in its illustration of the Scottish kingship. Therefore this thesis has adopted the practices of the witches and from there came out with what is commonly practiced by the Vatsonga people. Scotland, England, Germany and France of the 15th and 16th centuries were the countries best known as the most uncouthed centres for witchcraft and superstitions. Therefore leading stories from these European countries have made this project feasible. The study has leaked many of the unfounded stories about witchcraft and superstitions that were thought of as extraordinarily great but made real in this work. It has gone as far as windswept the kingship rites, coronation, the powers of the divine bones upon the anointed king, ritual ceremonies, causes of prosperity and failure, tales about stars, ghosts, reptiles, zombies and those hideous deeds that are not socially acceptable such as digging up of children's graves, convulsions, calling for rain, punishment meted out for a witch, prevention of adultery, changing oneself to a crocodile, rat, snake and many more stories.

(in English): The diploma thesis opens a new perspective on Jan Werich - famous Czech writer, playwright and actor. Its goal is to describe part played by books in formation of character, life and work of this eminent personality of Czech culture and social impact of his work. An important part of this work is the reconstruction of contents of Jan Werich's personal library. The thesis is based on analysis of Werich's literary work, analysis of collection of personal documents in Literary archive of The Museum of Czech Literature, study of documents in the archive of Theatre ABC and Prague City Archives. It is also based on testimonies of some close Werich's friends and on reader's survey "The books of Jan Werich". First chapter is concerned with Jan Werich's personal library. It describes the search for destiny of this library, on its probable current situation and on various sources for the reconstruction of its contents. It also contains information on Werich's work with a book, mostly on lending and borrowing books and on property marking of documents. The main part of first chapter is the reconstruction of contents of Jan Werich's personal library; its bibliogprahy forms an appendix to this work.
