Telecommunication service utilisation (TSU) focuses on how customers make use of telecommunication services and can provide valuable information for decision making for improved customer service delivery. When a telecommunication service provider consults with customers, large amounts of static documentation on TSU data are compiled. Abstract:
We developed a computational framework implemented as an R package for generation, visualization and functional and differential analysis of epigenome maps. Methods are provided for integrating and comparing data from different conditions or biological backgrounds, accounting and adjusting for systematic biases in order to provide an efficient and statistically robust base for differential analysis. We also provide methods for general data assessment and quality control, such as functions to study chromatin domain conservation between epigenomic backgrounds, to detect gross technical outliers

Conventional airborne laser scanner systems output the three-dimensional coordinates of the surface location hit by the laser pulse. Data storage capacity and processing speeds available today has made it possible to digitally sample and store the entire reflected waveform, instead of only extracting the coordinates. Research has shown that return waveforms can give even more detailed insights into the vertical structure of surface objects, surface slope, roughness and reflectivity than the conventional systems. One of the most important advantages with registering the waveforms is that it

Abstract:

Communities have been a hot topic in complex network research the last years. Several algorithms for detecting communities have been developed, and in this thesis we use the sequential clique percolation algorithm to detect communities in a large social network. Our network consists of 5.3 million mobile phone users, with mutual communication data aggregated over 18 weeks.

In this thesis we do a visual study of the communities, and we clearly see the nested community structure when we do clique percolation for dierent clique sizes. When we threshold the edge weights we see that the st
