Analytic tendencies in modern Polish and RussianModern Polish and Russian are characterized by some features which demonstrate an increasing level of analitism. In this research, analitism is understood in a traditional way as a morphological and syntactic phenomenon. The fact that the synthetic structure of a language may, in some conditions, turn into an analytical one, as happened in the case of Bulgarian and Macedonian, has been intriguing linguists ever since, and has m

"Reported is the synthesis of a series of seven studies on work and health, conducted collaboratively by researchers in applied psychology and occupational medicine. This qualitative meta-study develops a framework, in which reviewed studies are structured, aggregated, integrated, and interpreted in a theory-guided iterative process of themed analysis. Building on empirical results, the subsequent interpretive integration seeks to demonstrate, how overarching, pervasive, and in psychological research typically underemphasized tendencies of “subjectification” manifest in exemplary work contexts

The prediction method of the experimental stress wave at the welded joints of the body under actual operations was developed, and the strength evaluation flow based on the method was proposed. We conducted running tests using a dump truck prototype, the EH3500ACII, as an experimental approach. The high accelerations in longitudinal, vertical, and lateral directions were measured for a sudden stop, bump override and sharp turn test, respectively. The tendencies of the stress waveforms at the welded joints in each running test are in good agreement with those of the acceleration waveforms. The d

There has been a substantial level of effort over the past several decades to understand the role of the human controller/operator in process control industry accidents. This work received a substantial impetus from the Three Mile Island nuclear reactor accident in March 1979, which led to an increased focus on the role of the operator as a decision-maker within the process control system. In response to this focus, industry guidelines were developed to address human factors issues in control room design and plant maintainability, among other issues. During the same period that industry guidel
