Abstract:
Aggressive behavior often occurs in children, especially in early childhood. Many factors of a child having an aggressive attitude, environmental factors or a person who can be imitated or emulated and not given a correct understanding of how to behave should make the child have that attitude. Abstract:
Ananda Seva Mission (Blissful Service Mission) is an international Hindu tantric organization that resulted from a schism within Ananda Marga (Path of Bliss), a million-member, international socio-spiritual organization that teaches a type of Hindu tantra yoga. Ananda Marga’s founder and guru is Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar (1921–1990). The ostensible cause of Ananda Seva Mission’s formation was the purported ability of one of its co-founders to channel the spirit of Sarkar and the subsequent acceptance of this claim by some Ananda Margiis. However, Ananda Seva’s rapid establishment internationally should be partially attributed to its reformist agenda addressing some former Margiis’ dissatisfaction with what has been described as Ananda Marga’s control by a monastic order dominated by male renunciates. Ananda Seva created a more egalitarian organization based on Ananda Marga’s ideology, which gives married individuals a greater decision-making role and increases social opportunities available to women.

Ananda Marga is now an international movement that claims over a million adherents in more than one hundred countries. Ananda Margiis are perceived by some as terrorists, while much of their social service work, positive environmental philosophy, and effective system of tantric spiritual practices are overlooked. It would be more accurate to call Ananda Margiis revolutionary socio-spiritual utopians rather than terrorists. There are several allegations against them concerning the murder of apostates. This article will concentrate on the well-founded doctrinal basis for Ananda Marga's association with the use of force and examine its moral arguments justifying it.

Abstract:
Governance and planning for aligning business strategies with strategies in managing Information systems (SI) is the main key in winning business competition in each organization. Ananda Purwokerto General Hospital as a business organization engaged in health cannot be separated from this, but the problem of governance and the lack of alignment between the current business strategy and the SI strategy make the Ananda General Hospital Purwokerto less in terms of service issues. For this reason, an evaluation of the existing SI governance is needed at Ananda Purwokerto General Hospital. COBIT 5 can be used to evaluate SI governance, because in COBIT 5 there are 5 domains consisting of 2 categories, namely the category of governance domain and management domain, for problems experienced by Ananda Purwokerto General Hospital can use the EDM and APO domains on COBIT 5. The results expected are in the form of measuring the level of governance implementation of SIR Ananda Purwokerto General Hospital in the EDM and APO domains, so that the best recommendations can be given based on the COBIT 5 framework.

Abstract:
Ananda Devi [1957 - ], a French-language author and poet from Mauritius, adds depth to the lyricism already inherent in her writing by drawing upon that country's multicultural heritage, which includes African, Hindu, and French, and its Creole language. Le Long Désir (2003) defies genre, being neither strictly poetry nor prose, and presents more a collection of prose poems than a structured story with a tangible plot. The poetic aspect of her text, accomplished through this Creole as well as experimentation with grammatical structures and the display of the text on the page, inclines me as a translator to prioritize the lyricism of her text over its content, though cer-tainly I have endeavored to bring both into my English translation of selected sections of the book. Its unifying theme of the struggle of women with violence, anguish and self-definition is brought to the fore by running motifs of animalistic behavior, putrefaction, and darkness, which are accompanied by equally vivid instances of fragility and beauty, signaling the plurality of the situation of women. The challenges of translating the Creole, of preserving her imagery's fresh-ness as well as the content's poignancy, and other myriad deliberations make the labor of produc-ing The Long Desire, the English translation, that much more rewarding; for it is well worth bringing a glimpse of life as a Mauritienne to an English-speaking audience, if not for the noble purpose of increasing our awareness of the world, then at least to taste the enchanting complexity of the text itself.

Abstract:
The novels of Anada Devi and the Leonora Miano are full of "voiceless", another way of talking about the many invisible in contemporary societies. physical or mental disabilities, immigrants, ex colonized exiles, people in social and economic insecurity, migrants, street children, children of war, are the silent faces of the XXI century. Abstract:
The three writers of our thesis corpus are very often associated by the critics, and their fiction writing considered from the point of view of their origin – the three women are Indo-Mauritian – and of their predilection for representing the subordinate black woman. Indeed the research areas of this thesis – that embraces the whole of the three works of fiction – tackle the essential matter of the status of the oppressed woman in a patriarcal context, itself anchored into the insular Indo-Mauritian community. However these inescapable enlightening tools fit in a more systematic analysis of the poetics in their novels in order for these tools not to be defined by categories both external to the writing project and restrictive, but appreciated on an aesthetic level that would analyse their literary qualities more than the originality of their origin and their « French language character ». The words of the subject, which is sometimes looked down upon, – the genre of the novel always being suspicious, all the more if written by contemporary women from overseas –, should reveal the wealth and originality of each of our women writers. What is their story-telling like ? How could we define their style ? How do they deal with their literary legacy ? What of their link with reality ? How do they fit in the double literary field of their origin and their writing language : the Mauritian field on the one hand, the French on the other ? These research directions have been explored by carrying out both the contextualization and the analysis of the novels of the three writers, linking socio-historical and internal, more strictly literary, analysis of the texts. First of all, the corpus lies within the framework of the History of Mauritius, being the framework of the great majority of the novels. It enables to understand the choice of the written language as well as the presence of multilingualism in the works. It explains the development and the central position of French culture that allowed the creation of a Mauritian literary field, mainly in French, to which our three writers belong. Insularity is also an essential element as regards the problematic of the feminine characters as well as the literary representation of the island. Indeed these writers must position themselves vis-a-vis its exotic representation, and the detropicalization which has been insisted upon is not their only answer. This analytical north/south axis is enriched by a south/south axis, through the appreciation of the relationship between Mauritius and India since the Indo-Mauritian community has partly influenced the Mauritian landscape. Our writers oppose this rooting in an imported, compulsory tradition, which creates an island within the island. This refusal of communitarianism goes hand in hand with the defense of hybridity carried by the feminine voices. It lies both within the relationship between the characters and the poetic of the novels through the mix of genres, the voices, and a rich intertextuality. Thus the place of the feminine in our corpus does not amount to the representation of the oppressed southern colored woman. It questions in a more complex way the Mauritian society and further, the post-colonial world to which north and south belong

Batabyal, Somnath. "News production practices in Indian television : an ethnography of Star News and Star Ananda." Thesis, SOAS, University of London, 2009. http://eprints.soas.ac.uk/28730/.

Full text
Abstract:
This thesis is the result of ethnographic research carried out in television newsrooms in two Indian cities; Kolkata (previously Calcutta) and Mumbai (previously Bombay). The research was situated in Star Ananda in Kolkata and in Star News in the city of Mumbai, both channels part of the Rupert Murdoch owned Star group. The fieldwork was conducted through 2006 and the early part of 2007. The central research question this thesis tries to answer is: Doordarshan, the state run television channel, enforced a hegemonic, unitary notion of India since its inception. Has the proliferation of private news channels in India in every regional language given rise to a pluarility in how the nation is articulated in Indian television channels? Methodologically, this thesis is an ethnographic study. It uses participant observation and depth interview techniques as research methods. With over 90 recorded interviews with senior journalists and media managers, this thesis will provide rich empirical material and in depth case studies. It sets out to test the "orthodoxies" of media theory that has been influenced by ethnographic studies conducted mostly in the West. This work makes three overarching claims. Firstly, the assumed traditional divide between corporate and editorial no longer holds in Indian television. Each also does the job of the other and a distinction between them is purely rhetorical. Secondly, journalists imagine themselves as the audience and produce content they think they and their families will like. Given that these professionals mostly come from wealthy backgrounds, across television channels in India a singular narrative in content and a hegemonic understanding of an affluent "nation" is achieved. Connected with this is my third claim: news channels and advertisers targeting affluent audiences promote a notion of a prosperous "nation". Though catering to different audience groups - Hindi and Bengali speakers - by targeting the affluent Star News and Star Ananda produce a similar, unvarying content that promotes an idea of a unitary "India.".

Thesis, Paris 4, 2017. http://www.theses.fr/2017PA040208.

Full text
Abstract:
The Caribbean and Indian Ocean literatures of the last few decades has brought to light, through its poetic journey, the inherent ambivalence of the circumscription of island geographical reality, which allows access to the island consciousness. Insularity appears as the metaphor of a chronic pain caused by the torn between geographical and memory issues. The island, the place from which the imaginary emerges, is established as a common breeding ground for the texts of Patrick Chamoiseau, Ananda Devi and V. S. Naipaul who, through their poetic process, show the conflict of anchoring and escape, of confinement and openness. Thus in a diachronic approach, the aim is to grasp the inscription of this founding element of poetry and its praxis in order to hear the overtake initiated by these poetics of Mondialité, a key concept of Edouard Glissant's poetic philosophy. Glissant’s work echoes with Naipaul’s writing, as they are contemporaries, while Chamoiseau and Devi have inherited of Glissant’s poetic and philosophical thought. Then, the poetics of the Relation constitutes the exegetical arsenal that allows access to the authors'propositions of contemporaneity. The description of the malemort, the creating process of a memorial masterpiece, the poetic praxis of the monstrosity which release the body (physical, social, and literature), are the « unpredictable » generated. Creation thus tends to free itself from categorizations and assignments, because it is an echo of the movement of the world

Meur, Marie-Caroline. Paris 4, 2009. http://www.theses.fr/2009PA040110.

Full text
Abstract:
Monstrousness in Devi’s university and literary work denounces the illusion of the Primordial Link on which the Mauritian communities rely. This link is based on a repeating fixity, defends a so-called purity of descent and deeply fears any kind of change and merging. Devi criticises the Mauritian society which considers mixing as a social pollution and monstrousness. This violent society, having reached a point of no-return, must shift from a pattern promoting an isolated, identical self to a model of creolisation. Devi replaces the obsolete paradigm of a pure and endogamic identity by another kind of Primordial Link that unites every living being. Devi’s urge to write stems from the duty to warn against the on-coming wrench of humanness, to weave a linking work that can repair, at least on an imaginary level, our torn relationships. The Primordial Link is thus redefined, both theoretically and aesthetically. Devi refuses a morbid social system and a dangerous ideology; she rejects the sterile image of the double to pursue a dynamic hybridity. The fertile life-dust she imagines reveals the Commonness that binds all living creatures. Identity can no longer be understood as an identical, static concept, as a chain that imprisons an individual in an immutable group and in the myth of an idealised past. Identity is described by Devi as an exchange, a mixing stream that seems to define her very own literary creation. This new poetics tries to achieve dissemination and hybridisation. As a writer engaged in the society, Devi praises the quest for a diffusion and a new layout of the particles, a new configuration of the human body, in a quest for a tolerant, inventive identity

Abstract:
This thesis reviews the status of Indian women and the start of various changes under French rule in India, in light of the diary of Ananda Ranga Pillai, Dubâsh for the French East India Company, between 1736 and 1761. Through his daily chronicles in this decisive period of colonization, being both an observer and an actor, the diarist displays his constant concern for women, far from the romantic considerations. The study of the place and the role of the Indian women is made possible in the fields of politics through the lens of war, highlighting their involvement in the socio-economic sphere and its impact in their private life, by shedding a more internal light on global colonial society during this first half of the 18th century

Abstract:
Leadfree solders have been used as interconnects in electronic packaging, due to its environmental friendly chemical property. However, those materials may experience high strain rates when subjected to shock and vibration. Consequently, failure will occur to electronics in those situations. Therefore, knowing the material properties of lead-free solders are extremely important, but research on mechanical behaviors of those solder alloys at high strain rates are scarce. Anand’s viscoplastic constitutive model has been widely used to describe the inelastic deformation behavior of solders in electronic components under thermo-mechanical deformation. However, Anand’s model constants for the transient dynamic strain rates are scarce. In this paper, the nine material parameters to fit the Anand viscoplastic model at high strain rates have been presented. In order to develop the constants for this model, uniaxial tensile tests at several strain rates and temperatures have been completed. A constant strain rate impact hammer which enables attaining strain rates around 1 to 100 per sec has been employed to implement tensile tests and a small thermal chamber is applied to control testing temperature. High speed cameras operating at 70,000 fps have been used to capture images of specimen and then digital image correlation method is used to calculate tensile strain. Uniaxial stress-strain curves have been plotted over a wide range of strain rates (ε̇ = 10, 35, 50, 75 /sec) and temperatures (T = 25, 50, 75, 100, 125°C). Anand viscoplasticity constants have been calculated by nonlinear fitting procedures. In addition, the accuracy of the extracted Anand constants has been evaluated by comparing the model prediction and experimental data.

Abstract:
The major focus of this work was the determination of the nine constants required for Anand’s viscoplastic constitutive model for a lead-free solder alloy, 95.5Sn3.8Ag0.7Cu and to compare them with those for SnPb. The test specimen was a cast dog bone shape based on ASTM E 8M-01, with a diameter of 4mm and a gauge length of 20mm. A series of tensile experiments were carried out: constant displacement tests ranging from 6.5 × 10−5/s to 1.0 × 10−3/s at temperatures of 20°C, 75°C, and 125°C; constant load tests at a range of loads from 10MPa to 65MPa, also at temperatures of 20°C, 75°C, and 125°C. A series of non-linear fitting processes was used to determine the model constants. Comparisons were then made with experimental measurements of the stress-plastic strain curves from constant displacement rate tests: it was found that the model matched the experimental data at low strain rates but did not capture the strain hardening effect, especially at high strain rates. A finite element model of the test was also constructed using ANSYS software. This software includes the Anand model as an option for its range of viscoplastic elements, requiring that the nine constants be input. In this case, an 8-noded axisymmetric element (VISCO108) was used to model the test specimen under constant displacement rate loading. The model was then used to predict the stress-plastic strain curve and this was compared to both the experimental measurements and the fitted Anand model. Reasonable agreement was found between the Anand model and the FE predictions at small strain rates. Finally, a BGA device was simulated under accelerated temperature cycling conditions using ANSYS with the fitted Anand for the SnAgCu solder joints. A Morrow-type fatigue life model was applied using empirical constants from two published sources and good agreement was found between experiment and predicted fatigue life.

Abstract:
Portable products such as smartphones and tablets stay in the powered on condition for a majority of their operational life during which time the device internals are maintained at higher than ambient temperature. Thus, it would be expected for interconnects in portable products to be at a temperature high than room temperature when subjected to accidental drop or shock. Furthermore, electronics in missile-applications may be subjected to high strain rates after prolonged period of storage often at high temperature. Electronics systems including interconnects may experience high strain rates in the neighborhood of 1–100 per sec during operation at high temperature. However, the material properties of SAC305 leadfree solders at high strain rates and high operating temperatures are scarce after long-term storage. Furthermore, the solder interconnects in simulation of product drop are often modeled using elastic-plastic properties or linear elastic properties, neither of which accommodate the effect of operating temperature on the solder interconnect deformation at high operating temperature. SAC305 solders have been shown to demonstrate the significant degradation of mechanical properties including the tensile strength and the elastic modulus after exposure to high temperature storage for moderate periods of time. Previously, Anand’s viscoplastic constitutive model has been widely used to describe the inelastic deformation behavior of solders in electronic components under thermo-mechanical deformation.
