Abstract:
This article gives a brief overview of the results of research on the monuments of the Sopolli culture in northern Bactria, as well as the origin, shape, size, functions, stages of development, geography of distribution, geography of other cultures. comparisons with the findings of the eneolithic and Bronze Ages and comments on their periodic dates. It has also been scientifically substantiated that double-fire fire-worshiping furnaces in the eneolithic period continued as a tradition in later periods, i.e. in the Bronze Age, and that these furnaces were observed not in centralized temples but in family houses.

Abstract:
Every society has told stories about ancient times, but contemporary ancient history was the product of two main developments. The first was the invention of writing, which made scholarly study of the past possible, and the second was the explosion of knowledge about the world from the eighteenth century onward. Europeans responded to this explosion by inventing two main versions of antiquity: the first, an evolutionary model, was global and went back to the origins of humanity; and the second, a classical model, treated Greece and Rome as turning points in world history. These two views of antiquity have competed for two hundred and fifty years, but in the twenty-first century, the evidence and methods available to ancient historians are changing faster than at any other time since the debate began. We should therefore expect the balance between the two theories to shift dramatically. We close by considering some possible areas of engagement.

Abstract:
Chinese mythology is rich in characters invented by the boundless fantasy of the human race, there are more than a thousand of them. Mythological works are directly related to literature, therefore legends and fairy tales, where these characters appear, influenced the literature of China, and sometimes even intersect with its history. At the beginning of our era, interest in China was focused on all the unusual and strange phenomena and things that could arise as a reaction to the "dry" practice of the followers of Confucianism. Remnants of myths, folk legends and beliefs began to appear on paper. Even the titles of books of that time testify to the authors' interest in a strange and incomprehensible phenomenon: "A beautiful and amazing description", "Beautiful fairy tales", "A unique and amazing story." Some of these books were created to imitate the ancient "Book of Mountains and Seas", which is the main source of information for researchers of ancient Chinese mythology. These remarkable collections of historical records have provided researchers with a wealth of material. They also greatly influenced the development of Chinese stories, which received plots and motives from these collections. Many centuries later, in the 16th century, Xu Zhong-Lin wrote the epic novel "Ascension of the Spirits" based on myths, in which he developed the ancient imaginations of the ancients. Zhou Yu, who lived in the 17th century, tried to combine myths into epics, calling them "Legends of the creation of the world".

Abstract:
Four volumes in this review constitute important contributions to the study of ancient documents and their employment in antiquity, as well as their value for modern historical research. Paola Ceccarelli has written a monumental study of letter-writing and the use of writing for long-distance communication in Ancient Greece; Karen Radner has edited a volume on state correspondence in ancient empires; Christopher Eyre's book concerns documents in Pharaonic Egypt; and Peter Liddel and Polly Low have edited a brilliant collection on the uses of inscriptions in Greek and Latin literature. The first three volumes have major consequences for the study of the workings of ancient state systems, while those by Ceccarelli, Eyre, and Liddel and Low open new avenues into the study of the interrelationship between written documents and literature.
