Abstract:
E-marketing communications offer a great way to establish and enhance connections with customers. In this digital realm, there are various key strategies to consider. One of them is delivering relevant and captivating content that truly resonates with the target audience. Another strategy involves encouraging internet users to engage with the content by leaving comments, sharing their own content, or even participating in interactive games provided by the company. The main objective of this study is to gain a deeper understanding of the knowledge, characteristics, and impact of owned media on digital marketing. To conduct this research, the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Review and Meta Analysis related to owned media were utilized. Data was collected from multiple journal sites indexed in Scopus over a span of six years. The findings of this study reveal that having a large social media following does not necessarily translate to increased sales. In fact, owned social media platforms tend to be more effective for brands with a smaller number of followers. Additionally, while it may be tempting to adopt a one-size-fits-all global social media strategy, it is crucial to take into account the cultural context of each country. In countries with a high power distance, a more nuanced approach is required for owned social media to be truly effective. This research contributes to a better understanding of the functions of social media and provides valuable insights for developing effective marketing strategies.

This article aims to provide a systematic review of the literature on the current state of research on highly diverse and collaborative and internationalization of small and medium enterprises (SMEs). We analyze the processes that affect the internationalization of SMEs. Additionally, highlighting the limitations of the literature, especially in terms of theoretical fragmentation; existing theories are deployed and illustrated but are rarely extended in a way that significantly informs subsequent work. With this, we highlight the need for a more rigorous and empirically informed exploration of contextual effects that considers the consequences of development in global economic ecosystems. From the results of a review of several literatures, it shows that there is an internationalization theory that tries to analyze, process, and produce results. Because in the era of globalization, small and medium companies see internationalization activities as a great opportunity to progress and develop.

Abstract:
This study presents a systematic literature review (SLR) focusing on the interplay between Good Corporate Governance (GCG), Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), and their impact on financial performance and firm value. The primary objective is to examine how GCG and CSR practices influence company outcomes, particularly in the context of long-term sustainability and competitive advantage. The research methodology involves the collection and analysis of articles from national and international journals using keywords related to corporate management, financial performance, and CSR. The findings demonstrate a positive correlation between GCG, CSR, and firm value, with financial performance acting as a moderating factor. Companies that adopt robust governance and social responsibility practices tend to exhibit stronger financial outcomes and higher firm value. However, the study also identifies gaps in existing literature, particularly in the consistency of measurement techniques and the need for more research in developing countries. This research provides valuable insights for business practitioners and scholars, emphasizing the importance of integrating ethical practices with corporate management to enhance competitiveness and sustainable growth.

Abstract:
Every day, a new publication on information systems highlights about Cloud of Things (CoT) vulnerabilities; in most of these publications, vulnerability is quoted as the most substantial barrier for CoT realization. However, formulating a justifiable appraisement of the actual vulnerability impact on CoT is difficult because in many of these publications, the term security “vulnerability” is stated incorrectly as a threat or the publication does not discuss CoT-specific vulnerabilities. To achieve a well-founded understanding of CoT vulnerabilities, this literature review identifies the major vulnerabilities and their security controls and to identify any gaps for future research. A systematic literature review (SLR) approach using 58 articles is considered for this review. Based on this review, a taxonomy is created to classify the existing CoT vulnerabilities and security controls. This literature review identifies and discusses similarities and differences among various vulnerability issues and solutions. Most reviews previously performed were limited to the threats to the application interface and virtualization level, whereas this SLR thesis expand to the vulnerabilities in connectivity and things level of CoT. This study emphasize the importance of a clear definition of cloud of things vulnerabilities and to facilitate better understanding and assessment of CoT vulnerabilities to build more secure systems.

Abstract:
The use of Internet-of-Things (IoT) makes it possible to inter-connect Information Technology (IT) and Operational Technology (OT) into a completely new system. This convergence is often known as Industrial IoT (IIoT). IIoT brings a lot of benefits to industrial assets, such as improved efficiency and productivity, reduced cost, and depletion of human error. However, the high inter-connectivity opens new possibilities for cyber incidents. These incidents can cause major damage like halting of production on the manufacturing line, or catastrophic havoc to companies, communities, and countries causing power outages, floods, and fuel shortages. Such incidents are important to be predicted, stopped, or alleviated at no cost. Moreover, these incidents are a great motive for researchers and practitioners to investigate known security problems and find potential moderation strategies. In this thesis work, we try to identify what types of IIoT systems have been investigated in the literature. We seek out to find if software-related issues can yield security problems. Also, we make an effort to perceive what are the proposed methods to mitigate the security threats. We employ the systematic literature review (SLR) methodology to collect this information. The results are gathered from papers published in the last five years and they show an increased interest in research in this domain. We find out software vulnerabilities are a concern for IIoT systems, mainly firmware vulnerabilities and buffer overflows, and there are a lot of likely attacks that can cause damage, mostly injection and DDoS attacks. There are a lot of different solutions which offer the possibility to stop the identified problems and we summarize them. Furthermore, the research gap considering the update process in these systems and devices, as well as a problem with the unsupervised software supply chain is identified.

Abstract:
Context: The Internet has become a vital channel for disseminating and accessing scientific literature for both the academic and industrial research needs. Nowadays, everyone has wide access to scientific literature repositories, which comprise of both “white” and “Grey” literature. The “Grey” literature, as opposed to “white” literature, is non-peer reviewed scientific information that is not available using commercial information sources such as IEEE or ACM. A large number of software engineering researchers are undertaking systematic literature reviews (SLRs) to investigate empirical evidence in software engineering. The key reason to include grey literature during information synthesis is to minimize the risk of any bias in the publication. Using the state of the art non-commercial databases that index information, the researchers can make the rigorous process of searching empirical studies in SLRs easier. This study explains the evidence of Grey literature while performing synthesis in Systematic Literature Reviews. Objectives: The goals of this thesis work are, 1. To identify the extent of usage of Grey Literature in synthesis during systematic literature reviews. 2. To investigate if non-commercial information sources primarily Google Scholar are sufficient for retrieving primary studies for SLRs. Methods: The work consists of a systematic literature review of SLRs and is a tertiary study and meta-analysis. The systematic literature review was conducted on 138 SLRs’ published through 2003 until 2012 (June). The article sources used are IEEEXplore, ACM Digital Library, Springer-Link and Science Direct. Results: For each of the selected article sources such as ACM, IEEEXplore, Springer-link and Science Direct, we have presented results, which describe the extent of the usage of Grey literature. The qualitative results discuss various strategies for systematic evaluation of the Grey literature during systematic literature review. The quantitative results comprise of charts and tables, showing the extent of Grey literature usage. The results from analysis of Google Scholar database describe the total number of primary studies that we are able to find using only Google Scholar database. Conclusion: From the analysis of 138 Systematic Literature Reviews (SLRs’), we conclude that the evidence of Grey literature in SLRs is around 9%. The percentage of Grey literature sources used in information synthesis sections of SLRs is around 93.2%. We were able to retrieve around 96 % of primary studies using Google Scholar database. We conclude that Google Scholar can be a choice for retrieving published studies however; it lacks detailed search options to target wider pool of articles. We also conclude that Grey literature is widely available in this age of information. We have provided guidelines in the form of strategies for systematic evaluation of Grey literature.
Affan Yasin : Skype id (affan.yasin) Ijlal Hasnain: Skype id (bluesols)

The deployment of warehousing facilities is seen as a source of increased level of service and reducing costs along the supply chain. This master thesis aims to analyze the state of the art regarding the design of warehouses using the methodology of systematic literature review. The period of publication raised ranges from 1999 until 2011 and Science Direct was the electronic database explored. To guide the review a conceptual model was developed considering the decisions that are beyond the scope of the design of warehouses, which was called a framework. Abstract:
E soprattutto, come possiamo misurarlo?

Abstract:
Systematic review examining Third Wave Interventions for adults with epilepsy. Following review of 4 databases and gray literature by 2 independent reviewers, 4 RCT papers were selected for review based on inclusion criteria. All 4 studies reported positive effects of third wave therapy based interventions with medium to large effect sizes; intervention groups had better outcomes than control or comparator groups. Only 2 studies conducted longitudinal data collection. Research: Cross sectional survey using the Common Sense Model of Illness Representations (CSM) as a framework, 65 patients adjustment to hand injury will be examined in terms of the role of their illness beliefs and coping styles. Adjustment will be considered from a complete perspective including quality of life and functional ability as well as mood and trauma symptoms. The CSM was found to significantly predict adjustment to hand injuries with the regression models explaining between 30.4 - 67.1% variance. All 5 models indicated the strong predictive influence of illness beliefs as well as a number of specific coping styles. Illness beliefs play a strong predictive role in anticipating how an individual will adjust to their hand injury. More optimistic beliefs and adaptive coping styles are associated with improved adjustment; the significant role of psychological variables in both predicting and optimising adjustment is discussed, including the role of possible psychological interventions.

Abstract:
The literature review will focus on the relevance of the research, review of scientific papers, and mapping of publications. Understanding the relevant knowledge requires exploration, statistical, content and evaluation analyses which help the researcher to identify future research directions and problematical areas. Systematic literature review (SLR) is a scientific research approach that focuses specifically on relevant professional knowledge and their lessons to establish the research objectives. The design of electromobility and logistics in finished product distribution necessitates the formulation of a novel, more rigorous, and methodologically robust systematic literature review to delineate the scope of professional research, design, and education.

Abstract:
This article presents a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on using Unplugged Computing in Basic Education, analyzing 12 selected studies. The methodology utilized follows the procedures outlined by Bárbara Kitchenham (2004) in her article "Procedures for Performing Systematic Reviews," which includes specific steps for conducting a thorough review. The research focused on studies related to Brazil and consulted articles from Google Scholar, IEEE Xplore, ACM Digital Library, and the proceedings of the Simpósio Brasileiro de Informática na Educação (SBIE). The study addressed three main questions: (1) how Unplugged Computing can serve as a teaching strategy, (2) what activities are feasible in this context, and (3) how research has been evaluated. The results indicate that Unplugged Computing can effectively introduce computer science concepts in Basic Education, identifying several models of activities and highlighting the need for further discussions and research in the area.

Abstract:
Performance Testing is essential to ensure the quality and scalability of Web applications. A well-defined process may guide Performance Testing Engineer in conducting this task. We intended to enlighten some major inputs related to web performance testing. For this, we have formulated and executed a given protocol, according to the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) protocol in Software Engineering. So, 37 papers were selected/analyzed and we have extracted their most relevant contribution in order to answer our research questions. This analysis enabled us discovering preeminent performance testing profiles/roles, approaches, artifacts, methods, stages or phases and activity flows that have been reported in the literature. We believe that, despite those several studies that mapping performance test context, there are a few remarks in which a clarification might be needed, once there is no well-established process that comprises the whole activities mapped as well as established a relation with other studies. Therefore, this study intends to provide relevant input that one may establish a novel web performance testing process.

Full text
Abstract:
This review article summarizes the current state of knowledge on daylighting and electric lighting of cattle facilities for sustainable cattle buildings. The literature review covers a total of 54 publications with the aim to determine the extent of current research, identify research gaps, and formulate the most pressing areas for future research. The review process is a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) followed by synthesis and analysis of the findings. The article includes multidisciplinary researches performed in animal and agricultural science, sustainability, architecture, and building science context. The results suggest that daylighting and electric lighting can impact by ensuring improved animal welfare, worker wellbeing, production, and energy efficiency. However, there are still gaps in the research, particularly due to the lack of research taking into consideration both the animal and building science perspective simultaneously. Finally, this review provides insights into the potential benefits and limitations of lighting interventions, while identifying important areas for future research.

Full text
Abstract:
Background. The explosive growth in the number of original biomedical research publications and subsequent systematic reviews has driven the increase in the number of software tools created to automate many of the processes involved in the conduct of systematic reviews, particularly search strategy design and execution. However, this growth in software tools has not been accompanied by a systematic approach for providing expert review of these tools and their utility in supporting search strategy development. Objectives. Our goal was to provide practical guidance and information about automation tools for literature searching by conducting a descriptive comparative analysis of the free search strategy tools listed on the Systematic Review Toolbox1,2 (SR Toolbox) website. We plan to make our analysis freely available through web-based distribution. Methods. Our search expert panel is composed of five biomedical librarians currently active in the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) Effective Health Care Program Evidence-based Practice Centers (EPC). After screening, members of our expert panel dual reviewed included tools based on these criteria with any assessment disagreements resolved via consensus. Further, we categorized each tool by search-process step; tools could be applicable to more than one step. Results. Search strategy tools were identified from the SR Toolbox website. Of the 102 total tools listed on their search software webpage (initial search September 2021 N=78; update search February 2023 N=24 new tools), we determined 21 to be search strategy development tools and eligible for review. Based on our expert review, we found the preponderance of the 21 chosen tools are designed for the initial strategy development steps (i.e., scoping, keyword/phrase, and subject term discovery), though there are tools in most steps, except for strategy logic evaluation. From our review score sheets, we created a table of tools, arranged them by search process step, and rated their performance across our key criteria. Conclusion. We created what we believe is a quick and intuitive guide for expert searchers that organizes the tools by search strategy development phase, evaluates key features, and provides advice on how to use the tool effectively.

Supplementing Systematic Review Findings With Healthcare System Data: Pilot Projects From the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality Evidence-based Practice Center Program. Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), 2025. https://doi.org/10.23970/ahrqepcwhitepapersupplementing.

Full text
Abstract:
Objectives. The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), through the Evidence-based Practice Center (EPC) Program, aims to provide health system decision makers with the highest-quality evidence to inform clinical decisions. However, limitations in the literature may lead to inconclusive findings in EPC systematic reviews (SRs). The EPC Program conducted pilot projects to understand the feasibility, benefits, and challenges of utilizing health system data to augment SR findings to support confidence in healthcare decision making based on real-world experiences. Study Design and Setting. Three contractors (each an EPC located at a different health system) selected a recently completed systematic review conducted by their center and identified an evidence gap that electronic health record (EHR) data might address. All pilot project topics addressed clinical questions: infantile epilepsy, migraine, and hip fracture, respectively. EPCs also tracked additional resources needed to conduct supplemental analyses. The workgroup met monthly from 2022 to 2023 to discuss challenges and lessons learned from the pilot projects. Results. Two supplemental data analyses filled an evidence gap identified in the systematic reviews (raised certainty of evidence, improved applicability), and the third filled a health system knowledge gap. Project challenges fell under three themes: regulatory and logistical issues, data collection and analysis, and interpretation and presentation of findings. Limited ability to capture key clinical variables given inconsistent or missing data within the EHR was a major limitation. Conducting supplemental data analysis alongside an SR added considerable time and resources to the review process (estimated total hours to complete pilot projects ranged from 283 to 595 across EPCs), and the increased effort and resources added limited incremental value. Conclusion. Supplementing existing systematic reviews with analyses of EHR data is feasible, but resource intensive, and requires specialized skillsets throughout the process. While using EHR data for research has immense potential to generate real-world evidence and fill knowledge gaps, these data may not yet be ready for routine use alongside systematic reviews.

Full text
Abstract:
This report is a critical and systematic review of the literature on professional education accreditation models, associated methods, and the effectiveness and impact of each model. The review was conducted to inform a review and update of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) standards of accreditation for veterinary degrees. The purpose of the study was to rapidly appraise the evidence for the effectiveness, impact, and feasibility of different accreditation approaches, in order to inform best practices for the accreditation of professional education programs. The study focused on accreditation for programs which produce practice-ready graduates, including for veterinary programs. The authors searched several databases for articles published from 2000 to 2020, using search terms identified during a scoping phase, and applied a rapid review methodology in line with contextual, time, and resource requirements. The full-text review included 32 articles, from which a clear transition in the literature was seen from input- and process-based models (pre- and early 2000s) to outcomes-based models (in the 2000s and early 2010s). Continuous quality improvement and targeted models (including risk-based and thematic) represent more recent approaches in accreditation practice. However the review identified limited empirical evidence for the relative effectiveness of different accreditation approaches in professional education, although evidence for the more recent accreditation approaches is emerging.
