The generalization of the Anderson-Darling (AD) test under neutrosophic statistics is presented in this paper. We present the designing and operating procedure of neutrosophic Anderson-Darling when the quality of interest follows the neutrosophic normal distribution. The application of the proposed test is given using data from the renewable energy field. From the analysis of the data, it is concluded that the proposed test is effective and information to be applied when the data is recorded from the complex system in the renewable energy field.

Background: Suicide clusters at Cornell University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) prompted popular and expert speculation of suicide contagion. However, some clustering is to be expected in any random process. Aim: This work tested whether suicide clusters at these two universities differed significantly from those expected under a homogeneous Poisson process, in which suicides occur randomly and independently of one another. Method: Suicide dates were collected for MIT and Cornell for 1990–2012. The Anderson-Darling statistic was used to test the goodness-of-fit of the in

Abstract A clutter distribution identification method based on the AD (Anderson-Darling) goodness-of-fit test is proposed for the environmental perception and clutter distribution identification of ground radar positions, given the current demand for environment perception by position adaptive technology. The method determines which distribution the clutter obeys by comparing the critical value of the corresponding distribution with the AD statistic. The AD test method is improved by proposing a cell averaging method and a critical value unitisation method to address the problem that the AD pa

The most widely used sensing technique for detecting energy is due to its ease of use and lack of need for signal information beforehand. Traditional methods often employ a two-threshold strategy in low signal-to-noise ratio scenarios, which can lead to temporary detection outcomes when the signal's energy is between the low and high threshold values. This subsequently results in inadequate detection accuracy, characterized by a reduced probability of detection, which ultimately results in an extended duration of the spectrum sensing. The one-sample Anderson-Darling test is a powerful tool for testing the hypothesis that a sample corresponds to a theoretical distribution. The purpose of this paper is to develop effectual methods to approximate the integral distribution functions of the Anderson-Darling test statistics. This paper focused on censored data from the normal distribution. The purpose of this paper was to answer whether we can test if data comes from a censored normal distribution. This by using normality tests and tests designed for censored data and investigate if we got correct size of these tests. This chapter summarizes its use not only for calculating confidence intervals for estimated parameters and functions of parameters, but also to obtain log-likelihood-based confidence regions from which confidence bands for cumulative distribution and regression functions can be obtained. All such BS calculations are very easy to implement. Details are also given for calculating critical values of EDF statistics used in goodness-of-fit

The simultaneous values of tension and bending are of primary interest when checking the structural integrity of dynamic risers and umbilicals. Considering extreme checks, it is generally sufficient to check the simultaneous values along the convex hull of the extreme contour. A method for obtaining a boundary polygon that approximates the statistical extreme convex hull from time series data is described. The procedure for obtaining the extreme values from the most suitable extreme value distribution as determined by the Anderson-Darling Goodness-of-Fit test is outlined.
