Abstract:

In Pb-As and Pb-Sb sulfosalts, columns of large coordination prisms of Pb combine with intervening slabs of As- or/and Sb coordination polyhedra. The LEP of these elements dictate the configurations resembling SnS (especially for As) or inflated PbS (especially for Sb). The size misfit of cation polyhedra forces the short As-S and Sb-S bonds to form crankshaft chains. In the homologues with thicker slabs, parallel crankshaft chains and incorporation of Pb in the slabs compensate for the misfit. In the low homologues, N = 3 for sartorite series and N = 4 for andorites, the misfit becomes critical and requires special arrangements. In sartorite (~PbAs2S4), two subsets of parallel short crankshaft chains in a slab are (approximately) mirror-related via two contacts. One contact has a missing S atom with valence compensation by Tl; the other one differs between the two structurally analyzed varieties, sartorite (9a) [1] and sartorite (11a) [new], which are type structures for two homologous subseries: (13a; 9a;5a) and (15a;11a;7a;3a). Structures of andorites VI and IV(~PbAgSb3S6) [2,3], and arsenquatrandorite [new] allow to construct a predictive scheme of zig-zag crankshaft chain arrangement. The 4c superstructure of andorite (IV) contains simple zig-zag sequences of As3S7 chains; in 6c andorite (VI) parallel and perpendicular chains alternate. Andorite (VI) unites, in one slab, two different stackings of perpendicular chains which are present, as separate 3c intervals, in two adjacent slabs in andorite (IV). An additional 1c interval gives the 4c structure. Further varieties, such as 10c roshchinite, are derived from these unit sequences. The fourfold varieties either have slight surplus of Pb or As replaces a part of Sb (arsenquatrandorite).

Abstract:

AbstractThe current state of the lillianite homologous series is presented, with its two branches − the lillianite branch of the predominantly Pb-Bi-Ag sulfosalts and the andorite branch of predominantly Pb-Sb-Ag sulfosalts. Both the natural and synthetic members are discussed, especially from the structural and compositional point of view and the related, chemically distinct and structurally more complicated members of the series are described. A number of new published, or hitherto unpublished observations is given, together with fairly exhaustive tables of data. Relationships between the complex structures of different ‘andorite’ species and principal structural features of ‘oversubstituted’ As-Sb and Bi-Sb species are discussed. Contrary to many studies of this subject, synthetic phases form an integral part of the paper. It is concluded that research in this long-known homologous series still supplies new interesting phases, especially in the fields of synthetic products and in its andorite branch.

Abstract:

Selenium-rich Au–Ag mineralization has been discovered in the Kremnica ore district, central Slovakia. The mineralization is hosted by a single quartz–dolomite vein hosted by Neogene propyllitized andesites of the Kremnica stratovolcano. Ore mineralogy and crystal chemistry of individual ore minerals have been studied here. The early base-metal ore mineralization composed of pyrite, sphalerite, and chalcopyrite lacks selenium, whereas the superimposed Au–Ag paragenesis is Se-enriched. The Au–Ag alloys, uytenbogaardtite, minerals of the galena–clausthalite series, acanthite–naumannite series, diaphorite, miargyrite, pyrargyrite–proustite, polybasite group, minerals of the tetrahedrite group and andorite branch (andorite IV, andorite VI, Ag-excess fizélyite), freieslebenite, and rare Pb–Sb sulphosalts (scaiinite, robinsonite, plagionite) have been identified here. Besides selenides, the most Se-enriched phases are miargyrite, proustite–pyrargyrite, and polybasite–pearceite, whose Se contents are among the highest reported worldwide. In addition, one new phase has been found, corresponding to a Se-analogue of pearceite containing 2.08–3.54 apfu Se. The style of mineralization, paragenetic situation, and chemical trends observed in individual minerals are comparable to those of Au–Ag low-sulphidation epithermal Au–Ag mineralizations of the Kremnica and neighboring Štiavnica and Hodruša-Hámre ore districts. However, the pronounced enrichment in selenium is a specific feature of the studied vein only.

Abstract:

Significant selenium enrichment associated with selenides and previously unknown Ag-Pb-Sb, Ag-Sb and Pb-Sb sulfosalts has been discovered in hydrothermal ore veins in the Anthony of Padua mine near Poličany, Kutná Hora ore district, central Bohemia, Czech Republic. The ore mineralogy and crystal chemistry of more than twenty silver minerals are studied here. Selenium mineralization is evidenced by a) the occurrence of selenium minerals, and b) significantly increased selenium contents in sulfosalts. Identified selenium minerals include aguilarite and selenides naumannite and clausthalite. The previously unknown sulfosalts from Kutná Hora are identified: Ag-excess fizélyite, fizélyite, andorite IV, andorite VI, unnamed Ag-poor Ag-Pb-Sb sulfosalts, semseyite, stephanite, polybasite, unnamed Ag-Cu-S mineral phases and uytenbogaardtite. Among the newly identified sulfides is argyrodite; germanium is a new chemical element in geochemistry of Kutná Hora. Three types of ore were recognized in the vein assemblage: the Pb-rich black ore (i) in quartz; the Ag-rich red ore (ii) in kutnohorite-quartz gangue; and the Ag-rich ore (iii) in milky quartz without sulfides. The general succession scheme runs for the Pb-rich black ore (i) as follows: galena – boulangerite (– jamesonite) – owyheeite – fizélyite – Ag-exces fizélyite – andorite IV – andorite VI – freieslebenite – diaphorite – miargyrite – freibergite. For the Ag-rich red ore (ii) and ore (iii) the most prominent pattern is: galena – diaphorite – freibergite – miargyrite – pyragyrite – stephanite – polybasite – acanthite. The parallel succession scheme progresses from Se-poor to Se-rich phases, i.e., galena – members of galena – clausthalite solid solution – clausthalite; miargyrite – Se-rich miargyrite; acanthite – aguilarite – naumannite. A likely source of selenium is in the serpentinized ultrabasic bodies, known in the area of “silver” lodes in the South of the ore district, which may enable to pre-concentrate selenium, released into hydrothermal fluids during tectonic events. The origin of the studied ore mineralization is primarily bound to the youngest stage of mineralization of the whole ore district, corresponding to the Ag-Sb sequence of the ´eb´ ore type of the Freiberg ore district in Saxony (Germany) and shows mineralogical and geochemical similarities to low-sulfidation epithermal-style Ag-Au mineralization.

Abstract:

ABSTRACTA new mineral species, staročeskéite, ideally Ag0.70Pb1.60(Bi1.35Sb1.35)Σ2.70S6, has been found at Kutná Hora ore district, Czech Republic. The mineral occurs in the late-stage Bi-mineralization associated with other lillianite homologues (gustavite, terrywallaceite, vikingite, treasurite, eskimoite and Bi-rich andorite-group minerals) and other bismuth sulfosalts (izoklakeite, cosalite and Bi-rich jamesonite) in quartz gangue. The mineral occurs as lath shaped crystals or anhedral grains up to 80 µm × 70 µm, growing together in aggregates up to 200 µm × 150 µm across. Staročeskéite is steel-grey in colour and has a metallic lustre, the calculated density is 6.185 g/cm3. In reflected light staročeskéite is greyish white; bireflectance and pleochroism are weak with greyish tints. Anisotropy is weak to medium with grey to bluish grey rotation tints. Internal reflections were not observed. The empirical formula based on electron probe microanalyses and calculated on 11 apfu is: (Ag0.68Cu0.01)Σ0.69(Pb1.56Fe0.01Cd0.01)Σ1.58(Bi1.32Sb1.37)Σ2.69(S6.04Se0.01)Σ6.05. The ideal formula is Ag0.70Pb1.60(Bi1.35Sb1.35)Σ2.70S6, which requires Ag 7.22, Pb 31.70, Bi 26.97, Sb 15.72 and S 18.39 wt.%, total 100.00 wt.%. Staročeskéite is a member of the lillianite homologous series with N = 4. Unlike gustavite and terrywallaceite, staročeskéite, similarly to lillianite, is orthorhombic, space group Cmcm, with a = 4.2539(8), b = 13.3094(8), c = 19.625(1) Å, V = 1111.1(2) Å3 and Z = 4. The structure of staročeskéite contains four sulfur sites and three metal sites: one pure Pb site and two mixed sites, M1 (0.52Bi + 0.356Ag + 0.124Sb) and M2 (0.601Sb + 0.259Pb + 0.14Bi). The mineral is characterized by the Bi:Sb ratio 1:1 (Bi/(Bi + Sb) = 0.50) and the Ag+ + Bi3+, Sb3+ ↔ 2 Pb2+ substitution (L%) equal to 70%. Thus the mineral lies between two series of the lillianite structures with N = 4, between the lillianite–gustavite series and the andorite series.

Abstract:

Bi-Pb-Ag-Te oxides, sulfides and sulfosalts are relatively uncommon accessory minerals in the scheelite-bearing skarn of the La Falda Metamorphic Complex (Late Precambrian-Cambrian) of the Los Guindos mining group, Pampa de Olaen, Córdoba province, Argentina. Chemical composition measured with SEM-EDS and electron microprobe, physical and textural features with XRD and ore microscopy of bismuthinite, andorite, gustavite, kettnerite, lillianite and tetradymite are described. It is the first report of gustavite, PbAgBi3S6-P21/c, in Argentina. On the broad scale, scheelite was the major ore mineral of the wolfram mining closed today, but with a summit activity in the Second World War years. The metallogenetic evolution of these calcic skarn starts in the Neoproterozoic with a model of W-Sb-Hg strata-bound deposits related to a contemporaneous submarine volcanism in the Pannotian cycle. Later, the formation of the calcic tungsten skarn is associated with monzogranite plutons and retrograde sulfide assemblages (Zn, Bi, Ag, Pb, Sb, Te, Cu, Sn, Cd, Se), in hydrothermal-metasomatic environments of Paleozoic age, related to the Famatinean and Achalean orogenies in the Gondwanian cycle.

Abstract:

The Silver King mine (also known as Forsyths) operated very intermittently between about 1911 and the late 1940s on Livingstone Creek, near Omeo, in northeastern Victoria. The deposit consists of six thin and discontinuous quartz lodes that are variably mineralised. Assays of up to 410 ounces of silver per ton were obtained but there are only a few recorded production figures. Examination of representative ore samples shows that the main silver-bearing minerals in the primary ore are pyrargyrite, freibergite, andorite and the rare sulphosalt zoubekite, which occur irregularly with pyrite, arsenopyrite, galena and sphalerite. Phase assemblage data indicate that crystallisation occurred over an interval from about 450°C to less than 250°C, with the silver-bearing minerals crystallising at the lowest temperatures. The lodes were formed by the emplacement of hydrothermal solutions into fractures within the Ensay Shear Zone during the Early Devonian Bindian Orogeny. There are similarities in mineralisation and timing of emplacement between the Silver King lodes and the quartz-reef-hosted Glen Wills and Sunnyside goldfields 35‒40 km north of Omeo.

Abstract:

AbstractOscarkempffite, ideally Ag10Pb4(Sb17Bi9)∑=26S48, is a new mineral species found in old material (1929–30) from the Colorada vein, Animas mine, Chocaya Province, Department of Potosi, Bolivia. It is associated with aramayoite, stannite, miargyrite, pyrargyrite and tetrahedrite. Oscarkempffite forms anhedral grains and grain aggregates up to 10 mm across. The mineral is opaque, greyish black with a metallic lustre; it is brittle without any discernible cleavage. In reflected light oscarkempffite is greyish white, pleochroism is distinct, white to dark grey. Internal reflections are absent. In crossed polars, anisotropism is distinct with rotation tints in shades of grey. The reflectance data (%, air) are: 39.9, 42.6 at 470 nm, 38.6, 41.7 at 546 nm, 38.1, 41.2 at 589 nm and 37.3, 40.6 at 650 nm. Mohs hardness is 3–3½, microhardness VHN50 exhibits a range 189–208, with a mean value 200 kg mm–2. The average results of four electron-microprobe analyses in a grain are: Cu 0.24(7), Ag 14.50(8), Pb 11.16(14), Sb 28.72(16), Bi 24.56(17), S 20.87(5), total 100.05(6) wt.%, corresponding to Cu0.24Ag9.92Pb4.00Sb17.36Bi8.64S47.84 (on the basis of Me + S = 88 apfu). The simplified formula, Ag10Pb4Sb17Bi9S48, is in accordance with the results of a crystal-structure determination. The density, 5.8 g cm–3, was calculated using the ideal formula. Oscarkempffite has an orthorhombic cell with a = 13.199(2), b = 19.332(3), c = 8.249(1) Å, V = 2116.3(5) Å3, space group Pnca and Z = 1. The strongest eight lines in the (calculated) powder-diffraction pattern are [d in Å(I)hkl]: 3.66(35)(122), 3.37(70)(132), 3.34(100)(250), 2.982(55)(312), 2.881(86)(322), 2.733(29)(332), 2.073(27)(004) and 2.062(31)(182). Comparison with gustavite, andorite and roshchinite confirms its independence as a mineral species.

Abstract:

<p>Celem artykułu jest ukazanie wielosystemowości szkolnictwa w Andorze oraz związanej z nim immersji językowej. Poczynione obserwacje podczas uczestnictwa w seminarium naukowym w Andorze oraz pozyskanie odpowiedniej literatury umożliwiło zgłębienie oryginalności tamtejszego systemu oświaty, polegającego na wolności wyboru jednego z trzech systemów szkolnictwa: szkoły andorskiej, francuskiej lub hiszpańskiej, a co za tym idzie immersji językowej. Decydując się na wybór szkoły, rodzice i uczniowie kierują się takimi kryteriami jak, odległość szkoły od miejsca zamieszkania, język wykładowy, możliwość kontynuowania nauki za granicą. Różnorodność systemów edukacji wynika z historii księstwa Andory. Pierwsze szkoły założyli Francuzi i Hiszpanie, aby rywalizować o wpływy na danym terenie. Nowatorska szkoła andorska powstała dopiero w 1983 roku, od tego czasu rozwija się najprężniej i ma największą liczbę uczniów. Autorka zadaje pytanie o związek między systemem szkolnictwa i tożsamość narodową Andorczyków oraz możliwość współpracy tych systemów.</p>

Abstract:

These studies are research on the development of research and development (R & D) using the Borg and Gall model. However, this development research takes several stages, namely, problem identification, information gathering, product design, and product testing. The results of the study found that Jokotole figures were legendary figures in the Madura region from Bangkalan, Sampang, Pamekasan, and Sumenep. The legend of Jokotole is found in every legend in the villages of Madura, there are 38 stories that tell the character of Jokotole both in his journey (stop) so as to create his own legend or narrate the battle against his enemies, while in the Bangkalan region there are 12 legends which tell Jokotole namely in the area of talk, keleyen, tip plate, and so forth. In this development research, the Jokotole story was made the main character in its emergence as a learning media based on andorid, because the tendency of the majority of Madurese people to accept Jokotole figures as positive figures starting from Jokotole's birth, journey, chivalry, spirituality, and death. Furthermore, in the development research this took the legend of the villages that gave rise to the character of Jokotole. Andorid media based on learning media applications ranging from stories, places (the area adopted from google map maps, questions, and reading ability tests using the ability formula to read elementary school children, namely junior high school. Jokotole figures in the andorid learning media application created using multimedia unity and design Corel Draw with Story Board Jokotole character journey when visiting the western Madura area until the trip in Bangkalan area, namely in the village of Telang, Socah, Ujung Plate, Bancaran, and Jambu Village.

ABSTRACT In the Escherichia coli phage-plasmid P4, two partially overlapping replicons with bipartite ori sites coexist. The essential components of the oriI replicon are the α andcnr genes and the ori1 and crrsites; the oriII replicon is composed of the α gene, with the internal ori2 site, and the crr region. The P4 α protein has primase and helicase activities and specifically binds type I iterons, present in ori1 and crr. Using a complementation test for plasmid replication, we demonstrated that the two replicons depend on both the primase and helicase activities of the α protein. Moreover, neither replicon requires the host DnaA, DnaG, and Rep functions. The bipartite origins of the two replicons share the crr site and differ forori1 and ori2, respectively. By deletion mapping, we defined the minimal ori1 and ori2regions sufficient for replication. The ori1 site was limited to a 123-bp region, which contains six type I iterons spaced regularly close to the helical periodicity, and a 35-bp AT-rich region. Deletion of one or more type I iterons inactivated oriI. Moreover, insertion of 6 or 10 bp within the ori1 region also abolished replication ability, suggesting that the relative arrangement of the iterons is relevant. The ori2 site was limited to a 36-bp P4 region that does not contain type I iterons. In vitro, the α protein did not bind ori2. Thus, the α protein appears to act differently at the two origins of replication.

Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan dalam mengembangkan perangkat lunak aplikasi "Trilingual Bahasa Indonesia, Gorontalo dan Suwawa", Setelah melalui serangkaian proses pengujian, aplikasi "Jelajah Museum Jogha" dengan hasil: 1) performance efficiency sebesar 1,170 detik dengan predikat "sangat puas", 2) functional suitability sebesar 100%, sesuai dengan standar kualitas dari AQuA, 3) portability sebesar 100% dengan predikat "sangat tinggi", dan 4) usability sebesar 1607 dengan predikat "sangat layak". This article examines the way Vilfredo Pareto addresses the dynamics of social equilibrium and the evolution of economic institutions based on the principle of the rupture of the Machiavellian Moment. In the first part, we analyze why and how Pareto’s categories(residues, derivations, interests, \social heterogeneity, logical actions, andnon-logical1actions)borrow from those of Machiavelli(virtù, fortuna, corruptio, andordine)to define various forms of the Machiavellian Moment. Permasalahannya adalah banyak bengkel-bengkel kecil yang tidak diketahui oleh masyarakat luar yang sedang melewati Kota Tebing Tinggi, karena Kota Tebing Tinggi merupakan Kota transit sehingga membuat pengguna motor tersebut kesulitan dalam mencari informasi bengkel yang berada di Kota Tebing Tinggi. Penelitian ini merupakan solusi untuk menemukan bengkel terdekat di Kota Tebing Tinggi berbasil Aplikasi Android. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Location Based Service dalam menemukan lokasi pengguna berada dan juga menggunakan Formula Haversine dalam hal mencari tau jarak dari lokasi pengguna ke tempat bengkel dalam satuan meter dan kilometer. Kebutuhan produk skripsi yang dikembangkan mencakup data bengkel yang berada di Kota Tebing Tinggi Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk berupa aplikasi. Dari Hasil pengujian formula haversine dari 6 titik lokasi pengguna dapat disimpulkan Berdasarkan perbandingan jarak yang disediakan Google Maps Api dengan hasil perhitungan rumus Haversine, aplikasi pencarian bengkel ini memiliki akurasi yang cukup baik dalam menentukan jarak terdekat.

Religious education is one pillar in human life. This article aims to determine the values of religious education contained in literary works, one of which is a novel. Novels are literary works that attract the readers’ attentions the most because of the plot. Many modern novels containing the values of religious education can be imitated. The RentangKisah by Gita Savitri Devi and Doriyaki by AndoriAndriani are modern novels which contain the values of religious education. These can be seen in the life stories of both. Different family life and social environment make these two novels have different religious education values in their stories. This study is a qualitative descriptive study. The data were collected by taking a note the excerpts of Gita and Dori which contain religious education values. This study aims to determine the values of religious education in the RentangKisah and Doriyaki novels. The results of this study are the values of religious education shown by Gita and Dori.

Abstract The article shows the methodology and calculation procedures based on Lagrange polynomial interpolation which were used to determine standard performance characteristics of the Polish production engine, type ANDORIA 4CTi90-1BE6. They allow to simplify the experimental research by maintaining a minimum number of measurement points and estimating the remaining data in an analytical way. The methods presented are convenient when it comes to the practical side because they eliminate the need for exploration of mathematical equations describing the various curves, which can be cumbersome and time consuming in the case of nonautomated accounts. The results of analysis were applied to actual experimental results, indicating sufficient accuracy of the resulting approximations. As a result, procedures may be used in bench testing of a similar profile, especially with repeated cycles of the experiment, such as optimization of operating parameters of combustion engines.

Perangkat bergerak pada saat ini sudah merajai dunia teknologi dalam berbagai bidang, dalam penggunaannya perangkat bergerak atau mobile phone memiliki bermacam-macam operasi sistem yaitu, Andorid, IOS, Symbian dan beberapa operasi sistem lainnya, dengan memanfaatkan mobile phone sebagai wadah untuk mengembangkan ilmu pengetahuan di bidang teknologi sangat membantu para pengembang ilmu pengetahuan untuk mengembangkan berbagai pemikiran mereka. Dalam penelitian ini penulis melakukan sebuah inovasi di dunia pendidikan dengan memanfaatkan mobile phone dengan sistem operasi android. Metode yang di lakukan adalah melakukan anilsa kebutuhan dunia pendidikan pada saat ini, maka dari itu hasil dari penelitian ini adalah bagaiman sebuah mobile phone dengan sistem operasi android dapat mengolah data nilai siswa, memberikan informasi seputar kemajuan siswa di sekolah. Aplikasi pengolahan nilai berbasis android ini nantinya dapat menampilkan daftar nilai siswa, kegiatan siswa, serta kehadiran siswa di sekolah. Maka para orang tua cukup mengunduh aplikasi ini dan memasang di handphone mereka agar dapat memantau perkembangan anak mereka di sekolah.

Abstract:

PDAM merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam distribusi air bersih bagi masyarakat. Sebagian masyarakat Indonesia telah menjadi pelanggan air PDAM guna memenuhi kebutuhan air untuk aktivitas sehari-hari. Kualitas air menjadi persoalan penting karena berhubungan erat dengan kesehatan. Pada makalah ini dilakukan perancangan sistem monitoring kualitas air PDAM Banyumas berbasis IoT dengan meninjau parameter konduktivitas (EC) dan padatan terlarut (TDS). Hasil data pengukuran dapat diakses melalui aplikasi Andorid pada smartphone. Aplikasi dirancang menggunakan protokol HTTP dan MQTT. Protokol HTTP digunakan pada user interface untuk mengambil data terakhir pengukuran, sedangkan protokol MQTT digunakan untuk update data pengukuran sehingga proses transmisi data lebih cepat. Sistem akan mengirim pemberitahuan melalui Telegram apabila kualitas air berada di bawah baku mutu. Pengujian akurasi pengukuran dilakukan dengan membandingkan perangkat monitoring yang dibuat dengan alat ukur bersertifikat pada sampel air minum kemasan dan air PDAM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kinerja perangkat monitoring kualitas air PDAM yang dirancang sebesar 97,31% serta kualitas air PDAM Banyumas yang didistribusikan sangat stabil dan aman dikonsumsi.
