The paper presents efficiency analysis of the Ionic 2 platform. Two test applications were analysed, one written in the native Android language, Java, and the second written using the Ionic 2 framework. The following criteria were selected for the framework analysis: rendering time of various media types, fluidity, resource consumption and application working while system load.
