Svend Clausen: Are the Annales Bartholiniani based on Danish medievalannals? The article discusses the so-called Annales Bartholiniani, written by the Danish scholarThomas Bartholin (1659‑1690). Analysis of a series of events that are clearly dated incorrectlyin the Annales Bartholiniani and a comparison of the dating of these eventswith the content of Danish medieval annals suggest that the inaccurate dating of suchevents in the Annales Bartholiniani must go back to the Danish medieval annalistictraditions. This proves that a great deal of the content of the Annales Bartholinianimust go back either directly or indirectly to the content of Danish medieval annals. Italso points to the fact that there needs to be more discussion of the Annales Bartholinianiin future studies, as they also contain a great deal of information not availableelsewhere, and the close link between them and the content of Danish medieval annalsmakes it much more likely that Bartholin may have used also some Danish medievalannals now lost in addition to the medieval annals still known to us. In this respect,such an identified close link between the Annales Bartholiniani and the known contentof the Danish medieval annalistic traditions may help significantly in explaining alsosome of the otherwise unknown information present in the Annales Bartholiniani.Discussions of the content for years such as 1087 and 1142, for example, suggest thatspecific details such as these may go back directly or indirectly to a now lost medievalDanish annalistic tradition.

Abstract:
O artigo procura refletir a partir da revolução realizada pelo Annales, em 1929, e o consequente alargamento do conceito de fonte histórica, a importância dos jornais diários para a reconstituição do cotidiano na pesquisa histórica. As relações de proximidade entre as áreas de História e Jornalismo autoriza seus usos possíveis. Para isso, faz-se um breve apanhado da história do movimento Annales, suas ideias, seus principais artífices, e o que representou este movimento para a ciência histórica. O seu antes e depois do Annales. Também se adentra o universo das pesquisas na área da Comunicação Social para extrair as opiniões a respeito desta relação e seus possíveis usos. AbstractThe article seeks to reflect from the revolution carried out by the Annales in 1929, and the consequent extension of the concept of historical source, the importance of the daily newspapers for the reconstitution of daily life in historical research. The relations of proximity between the areas of History and Journalism allows their possible uses. In order to do so, a brief survey of the history of the Annales movement, its ideas, its main architects, and what this movement for historical science represented. Its before and after the Annales. Also, the universe of research in the area of Social Communication goes to extract the opinions about this relation and its possible uses.Keywords: Historical sources, Annales, Journalism, Daily life.

Esta pesquisa tem como objetivo revelar as contribuições historiográficas da primeira geração da Ecole des Annales para compreensão da realidade social, buscando demonstrar qual o sentido da historia para este movimento. Vai, ainda, ao longo do trabalho demonstrar a presença de elementos da primeira geração nas gerações atuais dos Annales. Por ultimo, revelarà a importância e atualidade que o novo campo semântico e a nova narrativa histórica proposta pela primeira geração dos Annales possui para a compreensão da realidade social dos dias de hoje. Procuramos aqui destacar como a narrativa de testemunho e a historia das mentalidades na historiografia são a herança dos Annales (primeira geração), considerando e respeitados todos os diferentes rumos e caminhos tomados pelos posteriores diretores da corrente, mas ressaltando que elementos e noções introduzidas por Febvre e Bloch foram de fundamental importância para a construção de uma narrativa que procura compreender a realidade social, agora, à partir de uma visão mais global – a historia total -, atendo-se não mais somente no fenômeno politico mas, sobretudo, aos sujeitos, todos eles, responsáveis pela sua construção, incluindo em especial as “massas anônimas”. A pesquisa valeu-se da investigação de bibliografias dos historiadores vinculados à corrente historiográfica, bem como de seus interpretes e, por ultimo, de documentos de correspondências referentes à primeira geração. A investigação à partir das correspondências foi possivel através de um estagio doutoral realizado na Ecole des Hautes Etudes en Sciences Sociales

Abstract:
No author from antiquity has had more influence on modern perceptions of the ancient poet, Ennius, than the late-Republican orator, Cicero. Indeed, Cicero helped transform the image of Ennius from that of a poet to an auctor, an authoritative source. Likewise, at the hands of Cicero, Ennius’ Annales was portrayed in a variety of ways, ranging from a work with scientific credibility, to a text actively involved in the transmission of Roman culture. This thesis aims to explore the ways in which Cicero constructed the authority of Ennius and his Annales through a close analysis of the citations in his philosophical works. As a result of this examination I hope to shed light on the different authority-building techniques with which Cicero crafted Ennius into a formidable source of auctoritas, while also considering his motives and the consequent image of Ennius that arises.

This dissertation investigates politics and nationalism in the Annales d'Histoire Économique et Sociale. Firstly, it approaches the background of this review in political terms. In this sense, some historians who worked with politics in their books were selected. It is the cases of Fustel de Coulanges before the french defeat to Prussia in 1870, of Grabriel Monod who approached the progress of historical knowledge and founded the Revue Historique, Ernest Lavisse who conceived the nation as political expression and Charles Seignobos who consideredthe historical knowledge as an instrument of political education. Next, we show the relationship of the review with politics. Before that, we praised the organization of the review, its themes, authors, among other. In its pages, one finds the policy that somehow remained and the big names (political figures). Moreover, we emphasize a nationalism that expands, especially, towards the African continent. Finally, the dissertation intends to know better a little explored topic of the review, besides perceiving changes and stays between the historians mentioned above and the AHES.
A presente dissertação investiga a política e o nacionalismo na revista dos Annales d’Histoire Économique et Sociale. Inicialmente, aborda os antecedentes do referido periódico em termos políticos. Nesse sentido, alguns historiadores que lidaram com a política em suas obras foram selecionados. São os casos de Fustel de Coulanges perante a derrota francesa para a Prússia em 1870, de Grabriel Monod que tratou do progresso do conhecimento histórico e fundou a Revue Historique, Ernest Lavisse que concebeu a nação enquanto expressão política e Charles Seignobos que tomou o conhecimento histórico como um instrumento de educação política. Em seguida, mostramos a relação da revista com a política. Antes disso, enaltecemos a organização dos Annales, seus temas, autores etc. Em suas páginas, encontram-se a política que de alguma maneira permaneceu e os grandes nomes (que por sinal são figuras políticas). Com efeito, destacamos um nacionalismo que se expande, sobretudo, em direção ao continente africano. Por fim, o trabalho pretende conhecer melhor um tema pouco explorado da revista, além de perceber mudanças e permanências entre os historiadores supracitados e os AHES.

Abstract:
Ce travail consiste en une etude generale des annales de mathematiques pures et appliquees du mathematicien joseph-diez gergonne, de sa biographie et du contexte historique, mathematique et epistemologique. Au plan historique, nous avons essentiellement considere les structures mises en place par les differents "regimes", de la revolution a la restauration, au niveau de l'enseignement primaire, de celui du second degre (ecoles centrales, colleges, lycees, universite imperiale), de l'enseignement superieur (universites, grandes ecoles), des academies (academies des sciences et de province). Le travail de gergonne est aborde sur ses deux aspects essentiels: 1ʿ) ses annales ((environ 8000 pages, etalees sur 22 ans de 1810 a 1832; pres de 140 auteurs) dont nous avons effectue une etude statistique agrementee d'un releve complet des tables des matieres et de precisions biographiques sur les multiples correspondants qui en fournirent la substance; 2ʿ) son uvre philosophique, qui s'articule autour de deux grands axes: une theorie de la definition basee, au nom d'un positivisme et d'un nominalisme tournes vers l'avenir, sur un rejet permanent de la metaphysique et des idees de condillac,et un systeme logique original et ambitieux. L'aspect mathematique a ete detaille sur deux questions d'importance: 1ʿ) le statut des nombres negatifs et imaginaires: les vieilles reticences sont balayees, les travaux d'argand et francais sur la representation geometrique des complexes permettent de jeter enfin les ponts necessaires entre l'analyse algebrique ou transcendante, la geometrie et la theorie des nombres, dans le respect d'un principe de permanence sans cesse verifie; 2ʿ) le calcul differentiel qui n'apportera pas dans les annales, malgre l'importance des contributions de servois, ampere, gergonne. . . , les reponses aux questions souvent eludees ( l'infini actuel et l'infini potentiel, la convergence des series,. . . ), marquant les limites d'une generation

On aborde les problemes lies a la systematique et a l'evolution des formes profondes a partir d'un cas extreme d'une espece consideree comme fossile vivant. On propose une systematique qu'on applique aux formes bathyales et abyssales du golfe de gascogne. On recherche dans les annales paleontologiques des formes comparables a celles du milieu profond actuel

The purpose of this paper is to provide an opportunity to explore the Habitat debate within ISUF. We quest that within this concept, as placed by Moudon (1997) in her inaugural paper to Urban Morphology, there is an intrinsic call towards an equilibrium between the various dimensions of urban form and a trans-disciplinary approach to the study of urban form, which deserves further investigation.According to Whitehand (2012) specific constrains affected the full concretization of such trans-disciplinary efforts, namely the further specialization of the disciplinary areas. Moreover, as argued by Marat-Mendes (2016), the focus placed by urban morphology on the physical dimensions of urban form has been significantly higher than on the social or human dimensions of the urban form, thus affecting in turn the above-identified equilibrium. In order to contribute to such debate, this paper presents the results of an ongoing investigation (Marat-Mendes, Cabrita, 2015), which seeks to recuperate the concept of Habitat within urban morphology. To do that, it first identifies the concept of Habitat as it was first defined in a number of seminal works to urban morphology (Demangeon, 1926). Secondly, it exposes how did such concept evolved throughout specific historical, disciplinary and methodological contexts (Deyong, 2011). And thirdly, it reveals the impact that such evolution had on the various problematics and scales of approach by those to which the Habitat issue was central for the study of urban from, including some contemporary contributions from various interdisciplinary areas, which seem to be recuperating that concept, although not explicitly. Abstract:
The Upper Paleolithic in Switzerland is so far only known by the Magdalenian (ca. 18000 12000 BP). Only in seven of the about fifty Magdalenian sites known in Switzerland pieces of portable art were found (Braun, 2019). The most well-known Swiss site where portable art was found is the Kesslerloch. According to Hneisen (1993) Swiss Magdalenian portable art can be divided into two groups: engravings and figurative sculpture. Some of them are decorated either with signs or animal figures. The engravings are mostly on rein-deer antlers, but also on bones, stone and jet. The majority of the engravings are on objects of utility as btons percs, spear points and other tools. In addition to figurative themes such as animals and a possible animal-human representation, there are mainly signs and other ornamental patterns (Bosinski, 1982 Braun, 2019 Hneisen, 1993). The term figurative sculptures is used to describe objects of utility, some of which are sculpted, such as spear thrower ends decorated with horse heads, so-called spindle-shaped sculptures and very stylized female statuettes. Apart from a musk ox head from the Kesslerloch, no other animal sculptures have yet been found in Switzerland. The figurative sculptures are less frequent than the engravings (Bosinski, 1982 Braun, 2019 Hneisen, 1993). Numerous works of portable art in Switzerland are similar to works of portable art of Southwest France and of the French Pyrenees, as f.i. the sculptured spearthrowers (Bandi, Delporte, 1984 Bosinski, 1982 Braun, 2019 Garrod, 1955 Leesch et al., 2019 Stodiek, 1993). A háború visszatérése Európába paradigmaváltást idézett elő a német külpolitikában. Az egy évvel ezelőtt hivatalba lépett „jelzőlámpa-koalíció” a külpolitikai prioritások újradefiniálására kényszerült. Több évtizedes tabuk dőltek meg, a tartózkodás hagyományával szakítva Németország fegyvereket szállít Ukrajnának a hadviseléshez, a NATO-előírásnak eleget téve növeli a védelmi kiadásait és nagyarányú Bundeswehr-korszerűsítésbe kezd. A német keleti politika kudarcot vallott, a gazdasági érdekeken alapuló, Oroszország iránti pragmatikus politika súlyos függéshez vezetett, amelynek feloldása azonnali feladatként jelentkezett, a szövetségesek bizalmának helyreállítása, az európai és a transzatlanti szolidaritás erősítése érdekében is. Annalena Baerbock zöldpárti külügyminiszter a hivatalba lépésekor értékalapú külpolitikát hirdetett meg, az ukrajnai háború kitörése óta ez a moralizáló külpolitika került előtérbe, amelynek középpontjában az egyetemes értékek védelme áll. A dolgozat azt vizsgálja, hogy ez az értékalapú német külpolitika mennyiben újszerű, hogyan viszonyul az érdekekhez, és általában eddig milyen eredményeit láthatjuk.

Background: The tens of thousands of academic journal websites that are on the Internet today often do not have a clear organizational structure for their website. If most of them are convenient enough for readers (if the journal is open access), then many have problems informing authors about the conditions, the process of submitting and reviewing the manuscript. The Editorial Offices empirically populate the journal's website with content that can change dramatically (both in terms of website design and content) as the journal develops. Aim of Study: To develop a website model for an academic journal that takes into account the basic requirements for the preparation, publication, and archiving of high quality scientific manuscripts. Material and Methods: The academic journal website model is based on a structural-functional approach. The website content consists of text and integrated applications. This model takes into account the basic requirements for the preparation, publication, and archiving of high-quality open access scientific manuscripts, as well as the indexing of journal articles by leading indexing agencies. Results: The academic journal website model is structured with the following menu and submenu elements: 1. HOME: 1.1. Journal information; 1.2. From the editorial office; 1.3. Databases, Indexing; 2.
