This thesis is concerned with the synthesis and characterisation of new ansa bridged bis-η-cyclopentadienyl derivatives of niobium. Chapter 1 provides an introduction to the area of early transition metal bent metallocene derivatives and charts the development of ansa bridged metallocenes. A family of new group 3 and lanthanides allyl ansa-metallocene complexes has been synthesized and characterized by NMR and X-ray diffraction. The performances of these discrete single-component catalysts for styrene homo- and copolymerization have been studied. The bridged cyclopentadienyl-fluorenyl complexes exhibited a good control and high stereoselectivity for the production of syndiotactic polystyrene, while bridged bis(indenyl) complexes produced highly isotactic polystyrene. OMNeT++ is a discrete-event simulator commonly used to build various network simulations. It can be extended by INET framework that supplies models of protocols and devices from TCP/IP environment. This paper explores current capabilities of INET to model IPv6, particularly routing. Implemented extension includes modules of dual-stack router and dual-stack host that support XML-based configuration of IPv6 addressing and static routing. We also introduce an OSPFv3 module that implements most of auxiliary features and is ready for future development of the routing protocol core.

Multicast traffic is common in today's networks. We need to simulate multicast architecture to be familiarized with its functionality in all situations. This thesis describes modelling and simulation of multicast routing using OMNeT++ tool. The text introduces protocol PIM and its particular modes (DM, SM, SSM, and BiDir) with emphasis on PIM-DM. The thesis focuses especially on design and implementation of OMNeT++ extension by multicast routing protocol PIM-DM. Correctness of implementation is verified by comparison of simulation and real network on example.

<p>The aim of this thesis was to examine how newspaper journalism represented the celebrity Anna Anka. Which roles and qualities did the media ascribe Anna Anka and in what way did the media frame her as a woman.</p><p>We examined texts and photographs from two Swedish newspapers, Aftonbladet and Dagens Nyheter, 16 texts were analysed. The method we used were discourse analysis with focus on relations, identities and representation.</p><p>The result showed that Anna Anka was represented in an essentially equal way in both newspapers.
