Abstract:
I artikeln undersöks pedagogiska, språkliga och kulturella aspekter av studie-handledning på modersmålet för att uppmärksamma frågor om likvärdighet och social rättvisa i grundskolan. Den teoretiska utgångspunkten tas i Bhabhas begrepp tredje rummet samt i en dynamisk syn på flerspråkighet genom begreppet transspråkande. Artikeln bygger på intervjuer med studiehandledare, och observationer från studiehandledningstillfällen. Studiens resultat presenteras i följande avsnitt: 1) Studie-handledningens pedagogiska praktiker, 2) Användning av multimodala resurser och 3)Studiehandledningens kulturella ramar. Därmed synliggörs komplexiteten i depedagogiska, språkliga och kulturella praktiker som studiehandledningen innebär.Enligt våra slutsatser kan studiehandledning inte ses som enbart stöd genom elevensmodersmål eller starkaste språk, utan bör snarare betraktas som en transspråkandepraktik som utmanar språkliga och kulturella gränser. Detta stärker förståelsen avstudiehandledningens mellanförskap, som inte bara innebär ett mellanrum mellan tvåkulturer, två språk, två livsåskådningar och två kunskapssyner, utan en komplex ochdynamisk mångfald. Dessa transformerande praktiker synliggör studiehandledarnasupplevda brist på aktörskap, som medför att eleverna går miste om kunskap medpotential att vidga perspektiv och gynna deras kunskapsutveckling och kritiskatänkande. För att uppnå likvärdighet och social rättvisa i skolan framstår nöd-vändigheten i att stärka studiehandledares position genom förtydligande av uppdragetsamt ett mer strukturerat samarbete med klass- och ämneslärare.

Abstract:
<p>The aim of this thesis is to examine how secondary teachers in the subject of history are using the textbook in their teaching. Four questions are being dealt with in this thesis. What importance is being placed on the use of history textbooks by the secondary teachers? What priorities do the secondary teachers have? How do they deal with student interests? And what is the importance of the secondary teachers’ work experience? </p><p>I have interviewed four secondary teachers with different work experience to complete this thesis. A Dictaphone has been used in all the interviews. </p><p>Research has shown that textbooks now have a central role in teaching and the lack of alternative materials and reduction of teaching hours has made it difficult to replace. </p><p>The main conclusions of the thesis are that the history textbook has a dual role depending on the teacher you ask, and that the history book is used differently by the teachers. The priorities vary depending on the students that are currently enrolled and their interests are. Teachers with less work experience have a rather negative attitude to the textbook and believe that it can be rigid, while teachers with more experience see it as a tool for engaging the weaker students. However, the history textbook is required, and even the teachers who are not using the history textbook can all confirm that: because even a teacher who is not using it has the history textbook for the students to have something to refer to if needed.</p>

Abstract:
This thesis treats of the usage of online voting advice applications, VAA, by Swedish students at the Linnaeus university. Four questions are investigated: 1) to what extent do the students use VAA? 2) do they follow the results? 3) are there any differences between groups? and finally 4) how do they reflect upon the VAA? The thesis is based on a theory of electoral democracy where the elections and the voters are the focal point. The voters’ volatility is also theorised and put in connection with VAA. A survey is used to answer questions 1–3 and semi-structured interviews to answer question 4. The main findings are that a remarkable part of the Linnaeus students, 62 %, use VAA and the applications are mainly used by the young. A substantial part also seems to follow the results presented by the application, above all the students that took the VAA seriously. 14 % of the students based their vote exclusively on VAA results. The students find positive and negative aspects to the use of VAA. They can be used for fun or be developing for the users. They should however only be used as a complement; the students point out that more information is needed to base the vote on. By informing the voters, the Linnaeus students think that VAA can mobilise voters and change their preferences.

A big part of Sweden's carbon dioxide is emitted by the construction business. Skanska is one of the biggest construction contractors in the world with an ambitious sustainability agenda. The purpose of this thesis is to evaluate how Skanska Väg och Anläggning, region Mellansverige, distrikt Uppsala uses Skanska’s own tools to reduce their climate impact from a project. The two tools that were carefully studied were Skanska’s color palette and a module to calculate the carbon emissions from a project. Data were collected through literature and interviews among Skanska employees. Collected data was analyzed by the author of the thesis and is presented in the last part of the report. Employees interviewed were positive towards the use of the tools. But the way the tools presented their information could be improved. Mainly by simplifying the information so it effortless could be applied by personnel running the construction.

This essay deals with the use of archival excavations documents among archeologists, with the focus on the Swedish excavation in Labraunda, Turkey. The purpose with this study was to facili- tate the work at archival institutions with excavation documents, and to create more knowledge about the use of archival excavation documents. This study can also help the archival institutions to preserve and mediate this type of documentation. In addition, this study also adds more knowledge about what type of archival documentation the users prefer to use. Method that have been used are interviews, which six persons that have or are working with documentation from Labraunda. In addition with, document studies are used as a complement, where publications, based on archival document from Labraunda, written by the interviewed individuals have been studied. Con- cluding of this study is that the archeologists using archived excavation documentation needs to process the documents before any contemporary analysis can be made. Moreover, it seems that it is a patchwork between using their own and others documentation, to fill in the information gaps or find similarities. Furthermore, some of the most used document types is, according to this study, photographs and drawings of ceramics.

For a long period of time there have been discussions about the need to modernize, to keep up with the changes in our society. The schools as a result have to keep up and adapt in order for the education to be up-to-date. This includes the technological developments. Many steps have been taken and mighty sums have been invested in order to keep up the pace – but are there any consequences from these kinds of investments? In this report I’m going to take a closer look on a recent addition to this phenomenon that were installed by means of a top-down approach and study the teachers and how they have adapted and view the change in their environment – namely the newly installed interactive writing-boards. The questions I will study include how the teachers express their view about the installation of the interactive writing-boards. If there are different kinds, groups, of opinions and if so, what causes such differences? My objective is to exemplify through an empirical study how teachers relate to the technology. This includes the pros and cons of the technology’s presence in the classroom. Through my results I have been able to conclude that there are indeed different categories of users. I have identified the User, the Positive None-user and the Critic. The main difference that separates the User from the None-user is the level of education in regards of handling the mechanical boards. The main benefit of the board is the variation it gives the lessons and the higher degree of material that can be shared to the class. The down-side, according to my results – other than the risk for technical problems that by many is seen as to add an element of insecurity to the planed lessons – is the severe lack of education the teachers have been given on the area.

Sammanfattning Titel: Företags användning av årsbudget Nivå: C-uppsats i ämnet företagsekonomi Utgivningsår: 2013-03 Författare: Hoa Dang, Peter Karlsson Handledare: Arne Fagerström Syfte: Tidigare forskare har riktat kritik mot användningen av årsbudget i företag, de anser att årsbudget kan göra ett företag stelt och svårt att anpassa sig till omvärldsförändringar. Därför är syftet med den här studien att förstå hur företag använder årsbudget och om företag kompletterar sin årsbudget för att förbättra företagets planering. Uppsatsens forskningsfråga är vilka fördelar och nackdelar som finns med årsbudget. Metod: Metoden vid utformningen av denna studie var att intervjua fyra fall, vilket gav data till empirin. Fyra olika företag ansågs tillräckligt för att få en bättre förståelse hur användningen av årsbudgeten påverkas beroende på vilka omständigheter som föreligger i företaget. Data från intervjuerna transkriberades och sedan analyserades likheter och olikheter i företagens hantering av årsbudget samt företagens värderingar kring årsbudget. Resultat och slutsats: Empirin visade att tre av de fyra fallen använder årsbudget och fyra av fallen använder verktyg för att komplettera sin årsbudget. Studien bidrar med förståelse till hur årsbudgeten kan uppfattas beroende på ett företags situation, något att uppmärksamma är att ett av de fyra fallen helt har frångått årsbudget för sin planering. Förslag till fortsattforskning: Uppsatsen omfattar fyra fall som befinner sig i olika situationer, en fortsatt forskning skulle kunna tänkas inkludera en större undersökning med hjälp av enkäter där flera företag kan undersökas. En sådan enkätundersökning kan även fokusera på en faktor som påverkar företags val av planering som till exempel bransch eller storlek på företag. Uppsatsens bidrag: Studien bidrar till att skapa kreativitet hos företag genom att väcka nya tankar och värderingar till budgetarbete utifrån hur företagen i studien ser på årsbudget.

Bakgrund: Alla organisationer använder sig mer eller mindre av prestationsmätning i någon form. Utan det är det svårt att veta hur det går. Prestationsmätning är utformat på olika sätt beroende på företagets storlek, kontroll och mål. Företag har olika anledningar till att mäta prestation, allt från stöd till implementering av strategi till att motivera anställda. Således är det viktigt att utforma ett prestationsmätningssystem med nyckelmått som passar den egna verksamheten och dess syfte. Syfte: Syftet med uppsatsen är att beskriva och förklara vilka prestationsmått som väljs samt hur de används i tillverkande företag. Metodval: Arbetet består av en fallstudie av en enhet i ett multinationellt företag inom pappersindustrin. En kvalitativ forskningsmetod har använts där empiri har samlats in genom intervjuer med en respondent från tre nivåer i företaget samt dokument. Slutsatser: Det är viktigt att organisationen anpassar prestationsmätningssystemet efter verksamhetens syfte och mål och att måtten avspeglar dessa. Vi har kunnat urskilja att fallföretaget använder nyckelmått med olika egenskaper och tidsram. Nedbrytning av mål är viktig för att ha prestationsmål inom alla delar av verksamheten samt att måtten avspeglar dessa. Två huvudområden för användning av prestationsmätning har kunnat urskiljas. Det första är att vara ett stöd för implementeringen av strategi. Det andra är att förbättra hela verksamheten, från arbetsmiljö till stopp i maskinerna.

<p><p>Internet is used today as a traditional medium for information exchange and social interaction. One of these is virtual meeting places where people meet and exchange information, socialize and exchange knowledge with each other. The group has chosen to examine the factors affecting the use of web forums, one of the virtual meeting places that exist on the Internet today. And look at how people use the web forum today in the current situation and how to design a web forum.</p><p>A survey was conducted to find out how people look at web forums today, 80 people participated, and they got to talk about what they think about different web forums regarding how and why the use these them. Guidelines on how a web forum should be designed were also developed. An interview was also carried out to a specific audience to see if there were special needs and interests that they had, so that we could take that into account in the development of the guidelines that are to be used in the design for this web forum. The group carried out a user tests on a mockup designed to investigate how people would respond and use the web forums of different age groups.</p><p>The results showed that many users of web forums today are different between users, depending on gender and age. The use of various web forums depends on that they have different needs and interests. This dose so the layout of the web forum must be directed so as to be adapted for any specific audience. Mainly people used web forums as an information source where you can find answers and ask questions to others. Two factors must be fulfilled for a page to be able to grow, and that is trust and credibility. This can be fulfilled by its members if they can create an identity for them self in the virtual meeting place. It is also important for lurkers on a virtual meeting place that they show commitment, support and encourage members to be active participant. Abstract:
Kovenanter ett amerikanskt fenomen som successivt har spridit sig över världen. I Sverige börjades olika typ av kovenanter användas under 1960-talet som kreditvillkor vid företagsfinansiering. Men även om kovenanter blivit ett vanligt verktyg inom den svenska kreditverksamheten sedan 1960-talet, finns det fortfarande bristande kunskaper om dess praktiska användande.  Denna studies syfte är att utforska hur bankers användning av kovenanter i låneavtal påverkas av företagsspecifika, relationsspecifika, lånespecifika och andra faktorer. Studien är inriktad till att studera svenska bankernas användning av kovenanter vid företagskreditgivning och kommer därför inte att behandla privat och offentlig sektor.   Studiens ansats är abduktiv, som möjliggör en växling mellan teori och empiri. För att öka förståelsen kring kovenanters användning har semistrukturerade intervjuer genomförts. Urvalet är begränsat till sex stycken av Sveriges största banker. Insamlad empiri har därefter tolkats utifrån agency theory of covenants, som härstammar från agent och principal teori. Därefter avslutas studien med en presentation av slutsatser, samhällsmässigt kunskapsbidrag, etiska bidrag, egna reflektioner och begränsningar samt förslag på vidare forskning.   Studiens resultat påvisar att kovenanter har en viktig funktion som kontroll och riskhanterings mekanism i låneavtal, men det ersätter inte behovet av realsäkerheter. Dessutom tyder resultatet på att användningen av kovenanter främst påverkas av låntagarens storlek, förmåga att lämna säkerheter, lånelöptid och storlek, samt lånets användningsändamål.<br>Covenants are an Americans phenomenon that has been successfully spread around the world. Different types of covenants are regularly used in Sweden and has been used in corporate loan contracts since 1960. Despite that covenants has been a commonly used tool in the Swedish loan contracts since the 1960s there is still a lack of knowledge about covenants practical use. The purpose of this study is to research the use of covenants in loan agreements from banks point of view, and explain how different factors such as borrower characteristic, loans characteristic, bank-borrower relationships and other factors can affect banks’ practice of using of covenants. The research question in this study is how different factors such as borrower characteristic, loans characteristic, bank-borrower relationships and other factors can affect Swedish banks’ practice in using of covenants. The study is aimed to research the Swedish banks' use of covenants in corporate debt, therefore the private and public sectors financiering are not considered. The survey has an abductive approach that provides ability to move back and forth from theory to empirical data. In order to explore the phenomena of covenants closely the semi-structured interviews are used for collecting data. Participants from the six largest banks in Sweden were selected to participate in the research. Collected data has been interpreted based on agency theory of covenants, which originates from the agent-principal theory. Finally the conclusion of the study is presented as well as socially knowledge contribution and suggestions for the further research. The results collected from the survey shows that the covenants have an important function as control and risk management mechanism in the loan agreement, but it does not replace the need for real security. The survey also shows that the use of covenants is mainly affected by the borrower's size, ability to provide collateral, loan duration and size, and the loan's purpose.

Abstract:
I artikeln beskrivs och analyseras olika former av dekorerade och mönstrade textilier som förekom i den hälsingska inredningskulturen. Syftet är att undersöka hur hantverkarna har skapat estetisk variation genom användning av kulörer och mönster. De textilier som ingår i studien finns i både offentliga och privata samlingar. Samlingarna domineras av broderade inredningstextilier, även spetsar och vävnader förekommer. Även materialet om Hälsingland i Lilli Zickermans inventering Sveriges folkliga textilkonst diskuteras och analyseras.

Abstract:
I artikeln redogörs för forskningsprojektets konstteknologiska och materialtekniska analysresultat. Utgångspunkten har varit att studera signerade och säkert attribuerade verk av kända målare och målargrupper. Analyserna har utförts för att kartlägga målarnas användning av råmaterial och tillverkningstekniker vid målning av väggytor, tak och möbler. Resultaten är värdefulla för säkrare attribuering och för tolkningen av målares sociokulturella sammanhang. I artikeln beskrivs de pigment, färgämnen och bindemedel som identifierats i studien och i vilken mån de använts av respektive målare.

Abstract:
Hälsinglands inredningskultur uppvisar en särpräglad färgrikedom. I denna artikel redogörs för pigmentens och färgämnenas ursprung och beredning. Speciellt fokus ligger på två växtfärgämnen, vejde och krapp som kan användas i såväl måleri- som textilhantverk. I sista delen av artikeln redogörs för hur handeln med färger och målarmaterial bedrevs i Hälsingland under 1700- och 1800-talen.
