Peng, Sha, Ming Zhou, Feiyan Liu, et al. "Flame-retardant polyvinyl alcohol membrane with high transparency based on a reactive phosphorus-containing compound." Royal Society Open Science 4, no. 8 (2017): 170512. http://dx.doi.org/10.1098/rsos.170512.

Full text
Abstract:
Flame-retardant polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) membranes with high transparency and flexibility were prepared by mixing an aqueous solution of a phosphorus-containing acrylic acid (AOPA) with PVA. The reaction between AOPA and PVA, the transparency, the crystallinity and the flexibility of the membrane were investigated with Fourier transform infrared spectrometry (FTIR), UV–vis light transmittance, X-ray diffraction and tensile tests, respectively. The limited oxygen index (LOI) and vertical flame (UL 94 VTM), microscale combustion calorimetry, thermogravimetric analysis (TGA) and TGA-FTIR were employed to evaluate the flame retardancy as well as to reveal the corresponding mechanisms. Results showed that PVA containing 30 wt% of AOPA can reach the UL 94 VTM V0 rating with an LOI of 27.3% and retain 95% of the original transparency of pure PVA. Adding AOPA reduces crystallinity of PVA, while the flexibility is increased. AOPA depresses the thermal degradation of PVA and promotes char formation during combustion. The proposed decomposition mechanism indicates that AOPA acts mainly in the condensed phase.

Abstract:
Rawa Aopa is a large swamp in South-East Sulawesi, Indonesia — the only major peat-swamp in this mainly mountainous island. Its vegetation and fauna are still quite poorly known. The existing information is summarized here. With the creation of new villages as part of Indonesia's transmigration programme, the human population in this area has increased very rapidly. Pressure on natural resources — especially soils and forests — is increasing, and primary forests are dwindling rapidly. This in turn increases the threats to Rawa Aopa, as erosion in its catchment area inevitably leads to a rapid silting up of the swamp. The swamp has a potential as a source of food (fish and sago) and income (rattan and other products), and it might to some degree become a tourist attraction. From a scientific point of view, the gaps in the knowledge about water-regime, vegetation, and fauna, ought to be remedied. In order to attain sustainable utilization of this area, a thorough plan ought to be made for the whole catchment of Rawa Aopa. The most important measure to take is the protection of the forests covering the hills and the surroundings of the swamp. Also important very widely is the protection of soils. Furthermore, it is recommended to include the northern part of the swamp in the already-existing Rawa Aopa—Watumohai National Park.

Abstract:
Title: Policy on Sustainable Use of Mangrove Forest Using Interpretative Structural Modeling Techniques in Rawa Aopa National Park, Southeast SulawesiThe conversion of mangrove forests due to anthropogenic factors is increasing in the “Rawa Aopa National Park (RANP)” area. Studies of diversity and economic valuation have been widely carried out. Still, research on institutional policies has never been carried out to anticipate changes in mangrove forest areas. This study aims to analyze the elements uses of mangrove forest, the role of agencies in the RANP management, and institutional models. Research carried out from June to December 2021, which used the Interpretive Structural Modeling (ISM) analysis. The results show three institutions involved in management of the RANP Center consist of the Forestry Service and the Environment Service of Southeast Sulawesi Province. The three institutions have the most influence and are key factors in formulating government policies in terms of managing the sustainability of mangrove forests in RANP. The critical elements in developing the RANP management model are the enforcement of the law, support between stakeholders, and efforts to protect RANP mangrove forests for the sustainability of flora and fauna. Some of sub-elements are the main drivers and affect the sub-elements at the next level. However, the management institutions of mangrove forest have low performance due to the absence of particular institutions responsible for RANP management. Therefore, it is necessary to have a formal institutional presence formed based on a memorandum of understanding of the three institutions that can accommodate the interests of stakeholders and responsible for the management of mangrove forests..

Abstract:
Purpose: The extent of palmitate uptake by hepatocytes is dependent upon the surface charge of the extracellular binding protein. Specifically, hepatocyte uptake is greater when palmitate is bound to cationic binding proteins than when it is bound to anionic proteins. To further understand the role of protein surface charge on the uptake process of protein-bound ligands, we examined the rate of transfer of fluorescent anthroyloxy palmitic acid (AOPA) in the presence of anionic and cationic extracellular proteins to model membranes containing different surface charged groups. Method: AOPA transfer rate in the presence of bovine serum albumin (ALB; isoelectric point pI = 4.8-5.0) or modified ALB (ALBe; pI = 7.0-7.5) to negative, positive and neutral lipid vesicles was investigated using a fluorescence resonance energy transfer assay. Results: The rate of AOPA transfer from both proteins was decreased when ionic strength was increased; directly dependent on the concentration of acceptor lipid vesicles; and was affected by both the lipid membrane surface charge and protein-bound concentration. Conclusion: The data support the notion that AOPA transfer from binding proteins to lipid membranes occurred through two concomitant processes, aqueous diffusion of the unbound ligand (diffusion-mediated process) and a collisional interaction between the protein-ligand complex and acceptor membrane. The contribution of diffusional mediated transfer to the overall uptake process was determined to be 3 to 4 times less than the contribution of a collisional interaction. This study strengthened the hypothesis that charged amino acid residues on proteins are important for effective collisional interaction between protein-ligand complexes and cell membranes through which more free ligand could be supplied for the uptake process.

Abstract:
The use of habitat by fish is closely related to efforts to find the best conditions for the survival of these fish. This study aims to analyze the habitat preferences of Striped snakehead in Rawa Aopa waters, Southeast Sulawesi. This research was conducted from November 2018 to February 2019 in the waters of Swamp Aopa Southeast Sulawesi. Fish collection using traps. The constancy and fidelity index determined the preference of striped snakehead for habitat type. A total of 1024 striped snakehead fish were caught during the study with a length range of 200,0-420,0 mm and 69,0-596,0 g weight. Striped snakehead measuring 200-367 mm were consistent in occupying habitats with a slightly dense to dense water plant density, while sizes 368-388 and 389-430 mm were consistent in habitats with sparse water plant density. The preference level of striped snakehead fish size 389-430 mm to habitats with rare aquatic plants is very high (Fij = 6). Therefore, the size can be used as an indicator of habitats with the rare aquatic plant category. The preference for 200-367 mm striped snakehead fish in dense aquatic plant habitats indicates that these habitats are foraging, growing, and protective zones.

Abstract:
Vertebral, anal, cardiac, tracheo-esophageal fistula, renal and limb (VACTERL) association is defined as a condition including at least three of the above-mentioned anomalies in the same infant. Several cardiac defects that have been reported as a part of the VACTERL association are ventricular and atrial septal defects, hypoplastic left heart syndrome, transposition of the great arteries and tetralogy of Fallot. Anomalous origin of pulmonary artery (AOPA) from the ascending aorta is an unusual and critical cardiovascular anomaly, which frequently involves the right pulmonary artery (RPA). A male neonate was delivered by normal spontaneous vaginal delivery at 39 weeks and 3 days gestation, weighting 2660 gm. He was diagnosed with VACTERL association with five abnormalities: vertebral abnormalities, anal atresia, cardiovascular anomaly (right pulmonary artery originating from ascending aorta), tracheo-esophageal fistula and renal anomalies. AOPA origination from ascending aorta as part of the VACTERL association in a neonate is a rare congenital cardiovascular malformation. Here we present a rare case of RPA originating from the ascending aorta seen with VACTERL association in a neonate.

Abstract:
Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park (105.194 ha) in Southeast Sulawesi is one of the important conservation areas in Wallacea. This study aimed to measure the diversity of herpetofauna, relative abundance and community similarity in four different habitats. Survey were conducted in January-April 2018 using Visual Encounter Survey (VES) based on time and transects in savanna, riparian, lowland forest, and mangrove. Forty-two species from 17 families were found consisting of 10 species of amphibians and 32 species of reptiles, in which 9 species are endemic i.e. Papurana celebensis and Draco beccarii. The highest diversity (H’) and evenness (E) indexes was found in lowland forest (H’ = 2.497, E = 0.555). The most abundant amphibian was Limnonectes modestus with 85 individuals (23.8%), while the most abundant reptile was Crocodylus porosus with 24 individuals (6.7%). The similarity of communities between the four habitats was low (<0.5), indicating that most species are specialists on particular habitats. Although diversity was relatively low in Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park, high endemism warrants ongoing efforts to conserve amphibians and reptiles in this national park. Key words: herpetofauna diversity, Indonesia, lowland forest, national park, Sulawesi

In this paper, we study the Antenna Orientation (AO) and Antenna Orientation and Power Assignment (AOPA) problems, two important issues in DWSNs. In the AO problem, given a set [Formula: see text] of sensors equipped with directional antennas with beam-width [Formula: see text], the objective is to determine an orientation of the antennas and a minimum transmission range [Formula: see text] such that the induced symmetric communication graph is connected. We prove that the AO problem is NP-hard. We then extend our proof technique and show that the AOPA problem for DWSNs equipped with [Formula: see text] directional antennas is also NP-hard where we have to determine an orientation of the antennas as well as a power assignment [Formula: see text] to the nodes such that the resulting symmetric communication graph is connected, and (2) [Formula: see text] is minimized ([Formula: see text] is the distance-power gradient, [Formula: see text]). We propose an [Formula: see text] heuristic algorithm and demonstrate by simulation that our method is better than the Ice-cream method.

Abstract:
Rawa Aopa is a permanent swamp ecosystem that serves as one of the suitable habitats for amboina box turtles (Cuora amboinensis). Some of the area is part of a national park (Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park) and is designated as a traditional zone for fishing activities, where local fishermen sometimes reported accidental catch C. amboinensis in their fishing gear. The aims of this study were to record the existence of C. amboinensis bycatch, size and age structure of bycatch, characteristic of fishing activity, and to discuss the conservation implication of bycatch. The number of bycatch was recorded by direct observation of 7 selected fishermen in 14 days. The C. amboinensis caught accidentally were measured and weighed. A total of 38 individuals of C. amboinensis were accidentally caught by fishermen during the study, having a size ranged of 7.4 to 18.5 cm (juveniles, young adults, and old adults; no hatchling), and weighed 248 to 996 g. Based on sex, there was no significant difference between morphological size of male and female, although bycatch for females (59%) tend to be slightly higher than males (41%). Most of fishermen lives in Pewutaa Village and used bubu traps to catch fishes. C. amboinensis are the most common bycatch compared to other species. In order to minimize the impact of bycatch of the C. amboinensis by fishermen, we need to ensure that the turtle that accidentally trapped in the fishermen’s fishing gear would be released unharmedly to their habitat.

Abstract:
The HukaEa indigenous people are the Moronene people who are scattered in the Poleang and Rumbia mainland areas or which are currently included in the expansion of the Bombana Regency. The community itself is a group of people with a total of 110 families with a total of 453 people who are struggling to defend their claim to their customary territory, covering an area of 26,000 Ha. Nowadays, the problem faced by the community is their territory which is right inside the Rawa Aopa National Park. This then became a barrier to the community in carrying out their activities, so that territorial claims were filed. In The Ministry Regulation No. 52 of 2014, it is explained that indigenous peoples must be identified through 5 elements, namely, history, territories, customary law, assets or customary objects, and customary government institutions or systems. In this case, there is a lack of written history related to the community and no one has written a history of how the HukaEa indigenous people were originally from. However, the discovered manuscript that was typed by the HukaEa community in 1974 slowly saved the HukaEa indigenous people in the process of claiming their territory and existence. In the text, entitled PU'UNO RONGA TEKALE ANO TO MORONENE, it is clear how the history of the early birth of the Moronene community in general and the formation of a group of HukaEa Indigenous Peoples who live in the area which is currently the area of the Rawa Aopa National Park, as well as the history of customary government and also his royal lineage. This rewritten manuscript has now become one of the strong grips and foundations for the HukaEa indigenous people in claiming their existence as indigenous peoples who are recognized and protected by the government

AbstractRelational program derivation is the technique of stepwise refining a relational specification to a program by algebraic rules. The program thus obtained is correct by construction. Meanwhile, dependent type theory is rich enough to express various correctness properties to be verified by the type checker. We have developed a library, AoPA (Algebra of Programming in Agda), to encode relational derivations in the dependently typed programming language Agda. A program is coupled with an algebraic derivation whose correctness is guaranteed by the type system. Two non-trivial examples are presented: an optimisation problem and a derivation of quicksort in which well-founded recursion is used to model terminating hylomorphisms in a language with inductive types.

Prefabricated ICEROSS (Icelandic Roll On Silicone Socket) sockets have been in use in Iceland since early 1986. Use of custom-made silicone sockets began several years earlier, and a paper devoted to the subject was presented at the 1984 AOPA Assembly by the author of this article. The ICEROSS system is primarily used for suspension. At the same time the author believes it considerably improves the weight-bearing capability of the prosthesis and the interface between prosthesis and user. After being turned inside out and rolled over the stump, the silicone sleeve forces skin in a distal direction, stabilising soft tissue and minimising pistoning. Both prosthetist and user may experience some problems initially, although most can be overcome by careful socket design and skin care.

Abstract:
We compared the sequence of a 101-kb-long bacterial artificial chromosome (BAC) clone (B21H13) from Brassica oleracea with its homologous region in Arabidopsis thaliana. This clone contains a gene family involved in the synthesis of aliphatic glucosinolates. The A. thaliana homologs for this gene family are located on chromosome IV and correspond to three 2-oxoglutarate-dependent dioxygenase (AOP) genes. We found that B21H13 harbors 23 genes, whereas the equivalent region in Arabidopsis contains 37 genes. All 23 common genes have the same order and orientation in both Brassica and Arabidopsis. The 16 missing genes in the broccoli BAC clone were arranged in two major blocks of 5 and 7 contiguous genes, two singletons, and a twosome. The 118 exons comprising these 23 genes have high conservation between the two species. The arrangement of the AOP gene family in A. thaliana is as follows: AOP3 (GS-OHP) – AOP2 (GS-ALK) – pseudogene – AOP1. In contrast, in B. oleracea (broccoli and collard), two of the genes are duplicated and the third, AOP3, is missing. The remaining genes are arranged as follows: Bo-AOP2.1 (BoGSL-ALKa) – pseudogene – AOP2.2 (BoGSL-ALKb) – AOP1.1 – AOP1.2. When the survey was expanded to other Brassica accessions, we found variation in copy number and sequence for the Brassica AOP2 homologs. This study confirms that extensive rearrangements have taken place during the evolution of the Brassicacea at both gene and chromosomal levels.Key words: Brassica oleracea, B. rapa, comparative genomics, glucosinolates.

Abstract The development of high way that crosses wildlife habitat will inevitably cause wildlife casualties. The purpose of this study was to identify wildlife road mortality in Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park, Southeast Sulawesi (mostly consisted of savanna). Road kill data was collected by driving along the 22.4 km highway in February and March 2020 (n=28). Traffic volumes were recorded by taking traffic samples in 5 different times of the day, an hour duration each (totaling 70 h). There were 37 species being killed (totaling 529 individuals, of which 49.3% happened along km 0-10), consisted of 19 bird species, 3 small mammal species, 10 reptile species, and 5 amphibian species. Based on taxa, the highest number of road mortality was amphibians (dominated by Ingerophrynus biporcatus), followed by birds (mostly Lonchura malacca), mammals (dominated by Rattus argentiventer), and reptiles (dominated by Varanus salvator). Among mammals, no big mammal (booted macaque Macaca ochreata, wild boar Sus scrofa) was killed. Landscape transformation clearly has impacted wildlife in the study area. To reduce the occurrence of road kills, it is recommended to create corridors for wildlife crossings, limiting vehicle speed in the hot spots locations, create speed bumps, as well as adding more signage and road signs along the highway.

Abstract Crayfish as an introduced species is now the primary catch of fishermen in the marsh ecosystems of Rawa Aopa-Watumohai National Park. Despite its significant economic impact on the area, caution is advised due to this species’ high ability to infiltrate a new ecosystem as a competitor, predator, pathogen, or parasite carrier. However, preliminary research is necessary to determine its basic biological elements, such as growth patterns and condition factors, as there is currently no information available for the ecosystem. A simple random sampling technique was used with 24 traps at 3 sites to catch the 810 total crayfish. The analysis results showed that the carapace length range was 19.5-99.4 mm predominantly by middle-size crayfish (44.4-60.9 mm). Based on the length-weight relationship by sex and month, the growth pattern was found negatively allometric (b:1.59-2.31) with strong correlations between length and weight (>0.9) indicating that the crayfish was thin. The result of the condition factor analysis by sex and month also showed that the crayfish was not plump (K:1.01–1.07). The crayfish’s body in the national park was shorter, thin, underweight, or generally unhealthy compared to crayfish from other areas of Indonesia. These results suggested that the population was likely suppressed by natural or human-related factors, necessitating a further study of the species’ other biological aspects.

Abstract Rawa Aopa National Park has experienced a severe wildfire. These fires are affected by several factors, including topography, meteorology, vegetation, and source of fire. This study uses a Machine Learning approach based on re-sampling methods (e.g. crossvalidation, bootstrap, and random subsampling) to evaluate, and improve the performance of twelve basic Machine Learning algorithms: Generalized Linear Model, Support Vector Machine, Random Forest, Boosted Regression Trees, Classification And Regression Tree, Multivariate Adaptive Regression Splines, Mixture Discriminate Analysis, Flexible Discriminant Analysis, Maximum Entropy, Maximum Likelihood, Radial Basis Function, and Multi-Layer Perceptron, analyze the causes of wildfires, and the correlation between variables. The model is evaluated by Area Under Curve, Correlation, True Skill Statistics, and Deviance. The evaluation results show that Bt-RF has a good performance in predicting wildfire susceptibility in TNRAW with AUC=0.98, COR=0.96, TSS=0.97, and Deviance=0.15. An area of 644.88 km2 or the equivalent of 59.82% of the area is a wildfire susceptibility area with the concentration of fires occurring in the savanna ecosystem which is around 245.12 km2 or the equivalent of 88.95% of the jungle zone. Among the 17 parameters that cause fires, this area is strongly influenced by Maximum Temperature, Land Use Land Cover, and Distance from Road. Abstract:
As part of the life support system, the mangrove ecosystem in the Rawa Aopa Watumohai National Park (TNRAW) has an ecological function as a spawning ground for fish in the waters, a filter for sea water intrusion into the mainland, and an absorber of heavy metals that are harmful to life, habitat for wildlife. migratory bird shelters; as well as barrier to coastal abrasion, hurricane winds and tsunamis. Aim of this study were to determine the critical level of mangroves using the terrestrial method (field survey) and to formulate the factors causing the criticality of mangroves in TNRAW. This research uses vegetation and descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicate that there are four families and eight species of mangroves in the research location. The four families are Meliaceae, Rhizophoraceae, Avicenniaceae and Combretacea with the dominating family was Rhizophoracea. Mangroves species found were Xylocarpus granatum K., Bruguiera gymnorrhiza L., Rhizophora mucronata Bl., Rhizophora apiculata L., Ceriops decandra, Ceriops tagal, Avicennia alba and Lumnitzera racemosa. The highest and lowest mangrove species diversity indexes in TNRAW were the seedling and tree strata, respectively with values 1,733 and 1,570. For the critical level of mangrove land measured at the four research stations, it shows that the mangrove ecosystem at the four research station is in a damaged condition. Causal factors of mangrove land critical in TNRAW were economic factors, education and skills, and weak of supervision of the authorities.

The results showed several problems encountered in villages included in the TNRAW area, including encroachment and illegal logging, land sale and purchase, land certification, settlements within the area, plantations within the area, rice fields in the area, construction of facilities and infrastructure by the government, recognition of village administration in the area, allocation of village funds and waterlogging and overfishing. Community stakeholder actors have a negative influence or role in the TNRAW area. The role of the Southeast Sulawesi Provincial Public Works Office, Universities, Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), and the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (KLHK) as stakeholder actors is positive for both the community and TNRAW. Recommendations for problem resolution directives include: 1) increasing community participation through continuous empowerment and assistance so that adverse roles of TNRAW can be minimized, 2) increasing the role of stakeholders to coordinate with TNRAW, especially concerning land legality and community agricultural activities within the TNRAW Area, 3) solving various problems in TNRAW through mutually beneficial mechanisms between the community and TNRAW, The solutions offered must, of course, be following applicable laws and regulations.

"Amyloid β Binds to Albumin-Associated Lrp-Like Plasma O-Glycoproteins: Albumin Prevents Inhibition of Binding by LDL". Abstract:
<P>Background: Albumin was reported to engage nearly 95% of plasma Amyloid &#946; (A&#946;) and to reverse A&#946; fibril formation in brain. </P><P> Objective: Since O-glycosylated LRP family of receptors capture A&#946; in brain we compared Aβ binding to electrophoretically purified albumin and to O-glycoproteins AOP1 and AOP2 that adhere noncovalently to plasma albumin. </P><P> Methods: Strength of A&#946;-protein interaction was measured as fluorescence increase in Fluorescentlabeled A&#946; (F-A&#946;) resulting from conformational changes. Alternatively, differential segregation of free and protein-bound A&#946; in Density Gradient Ultracentrifugation (DGUC) was also examined. </P><P> Results: Fluorescence enhancement in F-A&#946; was significantly greater by AOP1 and AOP2 than by known A&#946; reactants &#945; -synuclein and &#946; -cyclodextrin, but nil by albumin. In DGUC A&#946; migrated with the O-glycoproteins but not with albumin. Free O-glycoproteins unlike their albumin-bound forms were blocked by LDL from capturing F-A&#946;. Associated albumin did not affect A&#946; binding of O-glycoproteins. De-O-glycosylation of AOP1/AOP2 enhanced their A&#946; binding showing that peptide sequences at O-glycosylated regions were recognized by A&#946;. Unlike albumin, AOP1 and AOP2 were immunologically cross-reactive with LRP. Albumin sample used earlier to report albumin-A&#946; interaction contained two O-glycoproteins cross-reactive with human LRP and equal in size to human AOP1 or AOP2. </P><P> Conclusion: Unlike albumin, albumin-bound O-glycoproteins, immunologically cross-reactive with LRP, bind plasma A&#946;. These O-glycoproteins are potential anti-amyloidogenic therapeutics if they inhibit A&#946; aggregation as other A&#946; reactants do. Circulating immune complexes of albuminbound O-glycoproteins with O-glycoprotein-specific natural antibodies can bind further to LRP-like membrane proteins and are possible O-glycoprotein transporters to tissues.</P>

Abstract:
The structure of aminooligopeptidase (AOP), an intestinal brush-border digestive hydrolase, is abnormal in human diabetes and in the congenitally diabetic BioBreed Wistar (BBd) rat. Its assembly in the BBd rat was examined. After normal initial synthesis and assembly of immature AOP precursor (AOPi) with high-mannose N-linked chains in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER), processing of N-linked glycans in Golgi yielded a smaller than normal mature AOP precursor (AOPm) with persistence of some high-mannose N-linked chains. Deglycosylation analyses suggested that the mass difference could be attributed to a lower mass of N-linked with unaltered O-linked glycans in AOPm of the diabetic rat. Intrajejunal pulse-chase experiments revealed that the conversion of AOPi to AOPm occurred at 30 min of chase in normal rats but at 60–90 min in diabetic rats, reflecting delay in ER-to-Golgi transport or a slower processing of high-mannose chains. Once maximal transport to Golgi was achieved, the residence time in Golgi was shortened in diabetes. This altered processing of the precursor accounted for the altered structure of AOP in diabetes.

Abstract:
Introduction:Left Main Compression Syndrome (LMCS) represents an entity described as the extrinsic compression of the left main coronary artery (LMCA) by a dilated pulmonary artery (PA) trunk. We examined the presence of LMCS in patients with pulmonary hypertension (PH) using dual-source computed tomography (DSCT), as a non-invasive diagnostic tool. Methods:The following parameters were measured: PA trunk diameter (PAD), the distance between PAD and LMCA (LMPA) and the distance between PA and aorta (AoPA). These measurements were related with demographic, echocardiographic, hemodynamic and clinical parameters. Angiography was performed in two patients with LMCS suspected by cardiac computed tomographic angiography. Patients without PH but with angina were examined as controls, using DSCT cardiac angiography to assess the same measurements and to detect the prevalence of coronary artery disease. Results:PA diameter value over 40.00 mm has been associated with PH and LMCS. Furthermore, LMCS did not occur at a distance smaller than 0.50 mm between the PA and the LMCA, and did not correlate with the distance between the PA and the aorta or with cardiac index and NT-proBNP.Conclusion:DSCT may represent the initial testing modality in PH patients with dilated PA trunk to exclude LMCS. A periodical rule-out of this rare entity, as assessed by DSCT, in patients with a severely dilated PA seems to be mandatory for PH patients contributing to survival improvement.
