Abstract:
This article discusses apanage land belonging to the village heads, which is a legacy of the land system in the era of pre-colonial Surakarta and Yogyakarta kingdoms or what is termed as Vorstenlanden. This paper is aimed to find out how the feudal and nobility system in Java, which in the colonial era was very vulnerable to intervention and politics of splitting or fighting. To answering this question, a study will be conducted on the history of the Islamic Mataram kingdom until the era of Surakarta and Yogyakarta, en focusing on the analysis of the apanage and nobility systems. The method used is a historical method that consists of four steps, namely, heuristics, textual criticism, interpretation, and historiography. This research shows high officials and royal aristocrats have the power and the right to collect land tax and labor. A decline in the degree of nobility in Java will also affect the extent or amount of apanage land obtained. In the other side, the peasant only enjoy a small portion of the results of working on land or rice fields.

Jin, Zuo, Zhang, and Sun. "An Orderly Power Utilization Scheme Based on an Intelligent Multi-Agent Apanage Management System." Energies 12, no. 23 (November 29, 2019): 4563. http://dx.doi.org/10.3390/en12234563.

Full text
Abstract:
Orderly power utilization (OPU) is an important measure to alleviate contradiction between supply and demand in a power system peak load period. As a load management system becomes smarter, it is necessary to fully explore the interactive ability among users and make schemes for OPU more applicable. Therefore, an intelligent multi-agent apanage management system that includes a mutual aid mechanism (MAM) is proposed. In the decision-making scheme, users’ participation patterns and the potential of peak shifting and willingness are considered, as well as the interests of both power consumers and power grid are comprehensively considered. For residential users, the charging time for their electric vehicles (EVs) is managed to consume the locally distributed power generation. To fully exploit user response potential, the algorithm for improved clustering by fast search and find of density peaks (I-CFSFDP), i.e., clusters the power load curve, is proposed. To conduct electrical mutual aid among users and adjust the schemes reasonably, a multi-objective optimization model (M2OM) is established based on the cluster load curves. The objectives include the OPU control cost, the user’s electricity cost, and the consumption of distributed photovoltaic (PV). Our results of a case study show that the above method is effective and economical for improving interactive ability among users. Agents can coordinate their apanage power resources optimally. Experiments and examples verify the practicability and effectiveness of the improved algorithm proposed in this study.

I Made Purana. "Study Of Critical Disadvantages System Catur Varna To Concept Catur Kasta In Civil Society Bali Hindu." Kamaya: Jurnal Ilmu Agama 5, no. 1 (January 21, 2022): 20–27. http://dx.doi.org/10.37329/kamaya.v5i1.1524.

Full text
Abstract:
The people apanage of Bali know the concept of Kasta. Such stratification creates different views between the Tri Wangsa and jaba groups. The Tri Wangsa want an acribed status, whereas the Sudra or Jaba group want the achieved status, which in turn leads to polemics among the people of Bali apanage. As a qualitative study with a cultural perspective, this study aims to reveal and analyze more clearly the blurring of the varna system into a kasta concept in Balinese Hindu society. Data sources are extracted based on bibliographic or documentary data. Data collection using reading techniques and recording techniques. Data analysis on the problem is done by qualitative descriptive analysis and comparative analysis. The results showed that the blurring of the varna system into a kasta concept is inseparable from the royal politics of its time. The traditional educational system originating from Hindu literature and religion can only be enjoyed by the upper layers, the brahmins and the knights, while the sudra or jaba classes are strictly prohibited. The Kasta architects of Bali in the past few centuries, so expertly exploit the situation of the backwardness of Hindus outside the brahmans and the knights, so the teachings of Hinduism are manipulated in terms of caste naming. The elements of caste plagiarize the elements of varna that are indeed Hindu teachings. In addition, Dutch colonial politics is also very influential on the order of life in Bali, which causes problems in the system of social status. The Dutch government has not fully implemented the modern system of government. This is evident in the system of appointment of new employees (civil servants). The Dutch government has not carried out according to rational legal criteria, but still uses the traditional system of judging a person in terms of the height of the Kasta, not in terms of ability. Therefore, it is necessary to increase knowledge of village manners in the field of customary law and knowledge of village manners in the field of religion according to what is stated in the Hindu scriptures.

Abstract:

Abstract:
In the era of information explosion, published material is no longer the apanage of specialized journals. Researchers in all fields — and African literature is no exception — must gather data that are scattered in eclectic publications. For instance, three journals that do not specialize in literature recently published the following articles: Teisseyre, Ch. ‘Interrogation sur la littérature africaine d'expression francaise'. Ethnopsychologie 35 (2-3) (April-Sept. 1980): 81-86. In this study, several interdisciplinary indexes which cover journals pertaining to francophone African literature (including but not limited to, monographs, collective works, dissertations, and proceedings of conferences) are analyzed and compared in terms of their coverage, relevancy and currency.

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:

Abstract:
This article examines issues of land, political authority, and economic stability of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom during the reign of Sultan Agung (1613-1645 AD). This study uses the historical method by carrying out steps such as topic selection, heuristics, verification, interpretation and historiography. This research shows that Sultan Agung as a king has full authority over land management in the entire territory of the Islamic Mataram Kingdom. So that the land can be managed properly, the Sultan Agung divides the land based on concentric circles of the territory, both in the territory of the Negara Agung, Mancanegara, and Pasisiran in order to build a community under the auspices of his government. There are three types of land that are known in this division, namely narawita land (land in the core area of the kingdom which is used as agricultural land and plantations to produce rice, flowers, grass, oil, etc. for palace purposes), lungguh/apanage land (land in the territory of the Negara Agung, Mancanegara, and Pasisiran distributed to the nobles and royal officials as land salaries for their role in the continuity of the administration, and perdikan land (village land in which there are royal sacred buildings, such as places of worship, tombs, and the like, which are exempt from taxation as given to religious leaders (ulama and penghulu). These lands are mainly managed for agriculture as the most important economic source for the kingdom. The maximization of land management is able to have a positive impact on economic stability and governance in the Islamic Mataram Kingdom. Keywords: Land, Political Authority, Economic Stability, Islamic Mataram Kingdom Artikel ini bertujuan mengkaji tentang persoalan tanah, otoritas politik, dan stabilitas ekonomi Kerajaan Mataram Islam pada masa kekuasaaan Sultan Agung (1613-1645 M). Abstract:
Background: Hospital-acquired infections (HAI) contribute to the emotional stress and functional disorders of the patient and in some cases, can lead to a state of disability that reduces quality of life. Often, HAI are one of the factors that lead to death. The purpose of this study was to analyze the cases of HAI identified in public hospitals at the county level, through case report sheets, as they are reported according to the Romanian legislation. Methods: We performed a cross sectional study design based on the case law of the data reported to the Mures Public Health Directorate, by all the public hospitals belonging to this county. We tracked hospital-acquired infections reported for 2017–2018, respectively, a number of 1024 cases, which implies a prevalence rate of 0.44%, 1024/228,782 cases discharged from these hospitals during the studied period. Results: The most frequent HAIs were reported by the intensive care units (48.4%), the most common infections being the following: bronchopneumonia (25.3%), enterocolitis with Clostridioides difficile (23.3%), sepsis, surgical wound infections and urinary tract infections. At the basis of HAI were 22 pathogens, but the five most common germs were Clostridioides difficile, Acinetobacter baumannii, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Staphylococcus aureus. Bronchopneumonia have been most frequently reported in intensive care units, the most common being identified the Acinetobacter baumannii agent. Sepsis and central catheter infections also appeared predominantly in intensive care units, more often with Klebsiella pneumoniae. The enterocolitis with Clostridioides difficile, were the apanage of the medical sections. Infections with Staphylococcus aureus have been identified predominantly in the surgical sections at the level of the surgical wounds. Urinary infections had a similar distribution in the intensive care units, the medical and surgical sections, with Klebsiella pneumoniae being the most commonly incriminated agent. Conclusions: We showed a clear correspondence between the medical units and the type of HAI: what recommends the rapid, vigilant and oriented application of the prevention and control strategies of the HAI.

Cinema. Polinésia. Modernidade. Tradição.Myth and Colonies in the Weimar Republic Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau”™s Tabu: A Story of the South Seas (1931)Abstract: Contemporary postcolonial scholars, whose approaches focus on the perception of the Other using a counter-gaze from the ”˜peripheries”™ towards the ”˜centre”™, are not alone in having endeavoured to deconstruct colonial thought. In his last film Tabu, eine Geschichte aus der Sá¼dsee (1931), Friedrich Wilhelm Murnau denounced the destruction of non-European cultures (Polynesian in that case) under the influence of the political, economic and cultural European interventionism. He also highlighted the inclination of ”˜culturenatures”™ (Donna Haraway) to generate their own destruction. All attempts at emancipation, including the young pearl diver Matahi”™s forbidden love for the beautiful girl, come up against the immutable taboo dictated by the priest Hitu, who represents Tradition (and murders Matahi), and are doomed to end in death. Halfway between documentary and expressionistic fiction, Tabu is a brilliant depiction of the rejection of Western modernity and meditation on the idea of a return to the origins ”“ a particularly resonant work, especially given the political context of Germany in the 1930s.Keywords: Murnau. Cinema. Polynesia. Modernity. Tradition. Tradition.

Abstract:
The concept of marma is one of the unique principles mentioned in ancient Ayurvedic texts. Marma are the vital sites in the body where there is confluence of mamsa, sira, snayu, asthi and sandhi where prana resides. These generate the symptoms from excruciating pain to fatal effect when exposed to trauma. Ancient ayurvedic seers have mentioned 107 such vital areas in the body. Apanga marma is one among them, present in the head region, at the area outer to lateral canthus and below the tail end of eyebrow within half angula dimension. It is a vaikalyakara marma and results in blindness or visual impairment on injury. Knowledge of marma is very important in clinical field in preventing the complications during the surgical and parasurgical procedures. Details are collected from ayurvedic texts and published papers aiming to provide a comprehensive overview on Apanga marma.

Abstract:
Human need is infinite. As time increases, demand and needs of human also increases. Their first and foremost need is to live a long life. It is possible when we have a healthy lifestyle. Ayurveda a traditional Indian system of medicine, main aim is to maintain the health of healthy and cure the disease of diseased. That’s why people all around the world are looking towards India since ancient times. In Ayurveda health is a state where the Dosha, Agni, Dhaatu, Mala, all the physiological process are in homeostatic state and soul, sense organ and mind are in a state of total wellbeing. A science of Ayurveda is based on Tridosha theory. Vata one among three Doshas play an important and major role in both health and diseased condition. Vata dosha has five divisions namely Prana, Udana, Samana, Vyana and Apana. Vata Dosha is the most important factor of Tridosha which is responsible for controlling all types of movements. After the digestion of food by Agni with the help of Samana Vayu, Aahara is converted into Saara and Kitta portion. Kitta portion of food is eliminated by Apana Vayu with the harmonization of another Prana and Vyana Vayu. Apana Vayu is located in Pakvadhana and traversed though Sroni (pelvis), Basti (urinary bladder), Medhra (external genital apparatus of each sex) and uru (thighs). It helps in elimination Samirana (flatus), Sakrit (faeces), Mutra (urine), Sukra (semen), Garbha (fetus), Artava (menstrual fluid). In this article an attempt has been made to correlate the physiological activity of Apana Vayu with modern medical science. For this study, the basic materials have been collected from the Ayurvedic classics with the available commentaries, as well as text books of contemporary modern medical science have been referred for better understanding of the concept and its comparison with contemporary science. Abstract:
The events of the second half of the twelfth century was a watershed in the relationship between Poland and Silesia. In general, this period of Polish history is considered to be the beginning of the fragmentation of the Piast patrimony into politically separate principalities. Disagreements between individual Piast dynasts led to a series of civil wars which were sett-led by a further division of the Piast realm as apanages to younger members of the dynasty. Opportunistic Imperial interventions in the turbulent internal politics of the Piast monarchy further complicated matters, specifically the thorny issue of overlordship of Silesia became the key aspect of the relationship between Poland and the Empire. For these reasons the later part of the twelfth century is considered the era in which the origins of the separation of Silesia from the Piast monarchy was first placed.

Abstract:
Dysmenorrhoea is the most common Gynaecological problem with painful menstruation due to increased levels of prostaglandins in the menstrual fluid, this results in uterine pain, nausea, vomiting, backache, diar-rhoea, giddiness, syncope and fainting. In Ayurveda it is explained in terms of "Kashtartava", which is clinical entity characterized by pain and difficult expulsion of Aartva (Menstrual Blood) due to upward movement of Raja (Menstrual Blood), through Pratiloma Gati (Movement in reverse direction) of Apana Vayu and subsides after expulsion of Artava. Formation of Artava (Menstrual Blood) takes place during entire month, due to continuous filling of Garbhashaya through small capillaries, which is brought into Yo-ni and makes it to discharge outside every month by Vayu. The whole mechanism depends upon the proper functioning of Apana and Vyana Vayu where in Apana Vayu is responsible for Raja Pravritii while Vyana Vayu is accountable for blood circulation. In clinical intervention study, purposive randomly selected 40 patients were equally divided into 2 groups i.e. Group A (Trial Group) and Group B (Control Group). In Trial Group Rajahpravartini Vati in dose 250 mg twice a day and in Control Group Placebo (Roasted wheat flour) 2 Capsule twice a day were advised for treatment. drug administration was started from 21st day of LMP to next 3 days of menstrual cycle for duration of consecutively 3 menstrual cycles. It was found that average percentage of relief was higher in group A i.e. 71% while in group B i.e. 43.10%.

Abstract:
The medical term for painful period is "dysmenorrhoea". Dysmenorrhoea among adolescents is of primary in nature that is without any pelvic pathology. Among Vimshati yonirogas described in Ayurveda classics Udavarta is men- tioned as a condition with painful and difficult menstruation, so it can be correlated to primary dysmenorrhoea. In this condition the Rajas flow in reverse direction hence the term Udavartini. Women feel immediate relief following discharge of menstrual blood. Normal menstrual flow is the function of Apana vata therefore Apana vata dushti can be considered as the responsible factor for Udavarta. Because of the high prevalence of dysmenorrhoea in adoles- cents and extent of its potential daily interference it should be seriously taken into consideration. Ayurvedic classic textbook along with available modern literatures were referred to make a clear view regarding the concept of Uda- varta and its possible correlation with primary dysmenorrhoea. Abstract:
This study aims to understand how people engage with art in the era of selfies, digital devices, and social media. It examines the audience experience of an art exhibition, where visitors are encouraged to use social media to share their art experience, to understand how such an approach might change the nature of visitor engagement with art. Arguably, selfies taken in the art space enrich the visitor’s experience and engagement with art and function as co-creational, empowering, and authentic marketing tools for museums. Data for this research were collected through non-participant observation (ethnography) and netnography at the National Gallery of Victoria, in Melbourne, Australia. The results show that rather than promoting disengagement from the art piece, selfies in the art space become “networked material-discursive entanglements” empowering art consumers to co-create value and arts organizations to reduce their distance from consumers and reproduce the iconic authenticity of the artwork in the virtual space. The article contributes to selfie theory by overcoming the traditional view of selfies as manifestation of narcissistic self-expression. Instead, it promotes an interpretation of selfies as an empowering and democratizing means used by art consumers to develop narratives and identity projects in a context such as the museum where traditionally the development of the narrative is apanage of an elite. A further contribution provided by this research stems from the identification of clusters of visitors (i.e., reality escapers, art lovers, photoholics, and selfie lovers), placed on a continuum of value co-creation, which arts administrators need to be conscious of as they enter a more dynamic era of art consumption. By outlining managerial implications, this study provides an initial reflection on how arts managers can navigate the emerging era of the selfie in the museum context.

Abstract:
The science of life which explains the knowledge of various guidelines to be followed to make a healthy living is called Ayurveda. With the expansion of facilities of travel and occupation, man has to undertake extensive journeys, through diverse modes such as rail, road, water, etc. Most of these situations cited have been principally implicated in the vaigunya (state of altered functioning) of Apanavayu. The manifestation of Apana vayu vaigunya varies from mild cases of constipation to severe cases of mental disturbances. One of the prominent factors highlighted as a cause of Apana vaigunya is Atiyana (excessive travel by any modality). Symptoms of Apana Vayu vaigunya told in major classical books of Ayurveda were gathered to deduce a comprehensive understanding of the context. Apanavata is invariably associated with the component of pathogenesis in 45 diseases starting from Vatavyadi, Arsas(piles), Asmari, Prameha, Sosha, Jwara, Rakthapitta(Bleeding disorders), Vatarakta, Gulma(phatom tumour), Udara, Mutrakrcha(difficulty in urination), etc. Later the symptoms possibly associated with the vitiation of Apanavata present in diseases were listed and 332 symptoms were found to be associated with Apana kopa (vitiation of apana). These symptoms were further tabulated according to the order of frequency of occurrence as most repeatedly occurring symptoms, moderately repeated symptoms and least repeated symptoms. Thus out of 332 symptoms, 28 symptoms which can possibly occur due to atiyana were selected. In the modern era, due to irregular and bad habits of ahara, vihara along with the suppression of natural urges, the percentage of Apanavaigunyajanya vyadhis are increasing, which affects physical as well as psychological factors also. Work related travel is also now increasing, so it is the right time to concentrate this issue from the concepts of Ayurveda, Apana vayu vaigunya and athiyana. Based on these observations, aim of the present study is to explore the hidden concept of Apana vaigunya mentioned in Ayurvedic literature in relation with atiyana.

Abstract:
Denpasar as the capital city of Bali is facing high population growth each year from urbanization. One impact of this phenomena is decreasing the land provision for settlement. The growth of new settlements in Denpasar city currently featured a different character from the Balinese Traditional Houses of Bali Apanaga (BAP) in general, both from their forms and appearances; spatial patterns; materials and ornaments used. Contemporary houses in Denpasar are considered as a form of violation from traditional concepts and neglecting local identity. This paper investigates the ideas that are being used in modern houses and settlements in Denpasar today. A case study method was applied to several settlements in Denpasar using a qualitative approach for data analysis. Furthermore, reviews of the significant modern concepts were compared to the idea of BAP and Bali Aga (BA). The results show that significant concepts of forms, as well as the spatial patterns of BA houses and settlement houses which represent Balinese indigenous houses, have been more adopted by well-designed modern houses and settlements in Denpasar than the concept of BAP.
