Full textThe aim of this thesis, is to pursue and examine thoroughly the study of the leibnizian thought we began to process in our Mastership and D.E.A. Looking at the frontier between philosophy and literature, we develop the viewpoint of the leibnizian novelist, Hermann Hesse (1877-1962), whose impressive work offers numerous connections with leibnizian theory. We based our study on the main notions of existence and harmony, which are both important concepts in the works of Leibniz and Hesse. Throwing light on some underlying leibnizian subjects in Hessian poetic thought, we examine the impact of leibnizian metaphysics in the literary universe of Hesse, which, at first sight, escapes to rationality.Analysing the notions of existence and harmony in Hesse and Leibniz leads to define precisely some leibnizian concepts which are very essential ones : expression ( of bodies, minds, universe…), communication, conception of freedom, optimism. In the leibnizian universe, which is a "kaleidoscopic" one and a site where numerous interactions and concomitances take place, the individual, though being determined in his essence as a "monad", i.e. a completely self-sufficient entity, only exists by inclusion in the whole world it belongs to. We tried to reveal the omnipresence of a number of leibnizian concepts in Hesse, who conceives the world as a set of correlations and subtle resonances, governed by an immanent superior Being. Like the leibnizian monad, the hessian individual contains in himself infinite possibilities, which it is his own responsability to explore and develop, in the view of making the experience of happiness. The search for a kind of eudemonism, which constitutes a basic question in the hessian work, is also an existential instanciation of the philosophical concept of optimism, a leibnizian subject. In Hesse's work, man is in search of an art of living, which can make him get self-fulfilment and absolute serenity. Longing for a mental balance, and for a true communication with the outer world – maybe with some divine principle – he is searching his niche in life, in its universal harmony

Full textComplex content strategy refers to the treatment applied to digital content destined for unknown and variable expression, formatting and channelling. In order to maintain “common sense”, complex content strategy addresses three imperatives : the body of data cohesion, the channelled content coherence, and the intentionalities traceability. This PhD thesis presents a new complex strategy approach : analogical semantics. At the epistemic level, analogical semantics has two distinguishing features : (1) a metamodel that follows a community of language general framework designed in pragmatic linguistics and (2) an indexing process based on analogy (both analogical reasonings and analogical cognitive mechanisms). At the epistemological level, it defines an informational object (digital topos) ; at the technical level, it uses Tθpos software and methodologies ; at the operating level, it organizes an instrumented activity domain. Since 2001, analogical semantics development has taken place through three general public projects based on user-generated content. It has followed an agile pragmatic constructivist methodology (APCM). The original structuring project used a specific form of APCM at the crossroads of art, social action and innovation : Creation-Research and Development. (C-R&D). The main hypothesis of this research asserts that complex content significance depends on metadata, and more specifically on link-created figures of speech (transtructural figures). Consequently, complex content strategy goes beyond digital document engineering : it implements an “allosyntax” (shared codes that make “common sense” possible) and is part of a larger digital literacy deployment

"Complexité grammatologique et complexité aperceptive en musique : étude esthétique et scientifique du décalage entre la pensée de l'écriture et la perception cognitive des processus musicaux sous l'angle des théories de l'information et de la complexité." Paris, EHESS, 2004. http://www.theses.fr/2004EHES0123.
Full textTwo categories can be distinguished for the notion of musical complexity : the grammatological complexities, which mean the complexity of the thought of a writting, and the apperceptive complexities, designating cognitive difficulties of perception. Their mechanisms are distinct : two procedures with identical grammatological complexity can result in dissimilar apperceptive complexities, and inversely. However, the musical writting also carries a way of thinking the music. Hence, studying the musical grammatological complexity requires a study of our analytical perception of the music. Conversely, the perception of the music is a mental writting, and studying the apperceptive complexity requires a study of the analytical complexity of the algorithm reprocessed by the listener. This research uses concrete musical applications (concerning rythms, motivic transformations, consonance, etc. ), and the elaboration of theoretical concepts and paradoxes on writting and perception
Meyer, Jean-Marie. "L'âme entre psychologie et logique : le rôle de l'attention chez Wolff." Thesis, Paris 1, 2015. http://www.theses.fr/2015PA010534/document.
Full textPsychology, whether empirical or rational, is only a part of Wolff’s Philosophy but thanks to its object – the soul or spirit- it highlihts the principles of this Philosophy, which fall under Logic and Ontology.Due to the “connubium experientiae et rationis” Wolff’s Philosophy begins by paying attention to our perceptions. She leads us to a careful discovery of Principles. Attention whose primary function is to provide a greater clarity to our perceptions, increases the capacity of the human soul defined as “a force representative of the universe”.Attention plays a role in each of the operations of the spirit. The word “reflexion” means the way we focus our attention on an aspect of our knowledge. The reason why attention is so significant in Wolff’s thinking, is related to its dimension of reflexivity: attention involves the spirit in self-reflexion. The notion of “representation” unifies different themes that our work endeavors to clarify: experience, consciousness, aperception, notions. Attention makes possible and accompanies each of the acts of our spirit

Full textThe aim of this thesis is to prove a philosophical notion of Maine de Biran: the “immediate apperception (aperception immédiate)”. The immediate apperception is the moment when I know myself, or when I grab immediately the evidence of my existence. Biran links this moment to voluntary movement, a movement which has its purpose in itself. What is a philosophical signification of this connection? In this thesis, with the study of Félix Ravaisson and of Kitaro Nishida, we will find that the voluntary movement in Biran is, at first, a reflection (réflexion), which lets us know ourselves. We will also find that it should be considered as a creation, an act of taking part in the real and historical world

Full textThe management of sexual offenders disrupts care professionals within the limits of their therapeutic skills and consequently raises the recurring question of the chances of reintegration in society. The lack of understanding of the intrapsychic functioning of these patients, the lack of training of professionals in normal and pathological sexuality, the reinforcing effect on partial drives produced by the internet, or the specificity of the court-ordered therapy’s framework are all elements which definitely puts us out of the usual mental health care field.By attempting to take into account all these specificities and by exploring in a standardized way the psychosocial, psychometric and psycho-projective dimensions of these sex offenders, this research attempts to highlight on the one hand the intrapsychic variables that would improve scales of sexual dangerosity and secondly the psychotherapeutic characteristics likely to respond to the specific psychological dysfunctions of this population
Ottmann, François. "La systématicité kantienne et le changement de la conception du langage autour de 1800." Thesis, Paris 1, 2018. http://www.theses.fr/2018PA01H227.
Full textKant’s critical philosophy maintains an ambiguous relationship with language. Even though no proper theory of language seems to be found in the critical system, the transcendental method of the Critique has both highly and unexpectedly influenced the philosophical approach to language. Such a paradox can be accounted for by the following hypothesis: Kantian philosophy is the expression of a major language crisis occurring in Germany at the turn of the 18th century, in a paradigmatic but paradoxical way. It is necessary to put the critical system in this context to understand the far-reaching consequences of setting aside language as a philosophical issue. This will lead to analyse the positive effects of Kant’s attitude on new way to deal with language issues. Three steps will be taken in this purpose. The first one examines the meaning of Kant’s critical philosophy in the light of an epistemic crisis mainly embodied by the theoretical shift from “general grammar” to “comparative grammar” and the emergence of scientific linguistics. The second step sheds light on the place of critical philosophy within the framework of a broader language crisis, which will be studied in three fields: 1) Poetry, 2) “Metacritique”, 3) Philosophical language. Systematic reasons for the strong influence of critical philosophy on language will emerge from this double contextualisation. Indeed, understanding the Kantian system as a topical modelling of subjectivity enables to account for the new status of language – and more specifically, for the concept of natural languages – in the wake of transcendental philosophy

Full textThe Kantian "theoretical I" constitutes a unifying semantic unity wich produces itself epigenetically. Thus, this spontaneous - poetic - cognitive function appears to be both irreducible to a mere "logical form" and non-identifiable with a "substantial entity". The "I think", transcendental apperception, is a morphogenetic power-force wich unfolds as a continuous - virtually infinite - process of synthesis whose aim is the production of an organic system of knowledge. Its logical modality is necessity and its manner of acting is metaphenomenological ; "to must be capable of accompanying all my representations" means "to institute the act-form of all representation as such", namely their belonging to one and the same self. By questioning Kant with Hume, Leibniz and Fichte, this research attempts to elucidate the inevitable instability of the critical transition to a postmetaphysical Cogito
