Abstract:
The aphoristic literature in Arabic language had a great development as a part of wisdom literature, before and after the Islam. Numerous authors collect from Greek literature many dicta which they ascribed to the most well-known learned men. The main Greek philosophers were among those to whom several aphorisms were assigned. The dicta ascribed to Aristotle in Ibn Abi Usaybi'a's 'Uyun al-anba' are presented in this paper.

With shout outs to Edward Sapir, Benjamin Whorf, Marshall McLuhan, Michael Wex and Ludwig Wittgenstein, this paper will explore both the structures of Yiddish and Kabbalistic hermeneutics. Focusing on the aphoristic nature of Yiddish as a series of media ecological probes, and how thirteenth-century Kabbalah offers multiperspectival strategies for negotiating truth, it will expose how both through its form and presentation, speaking ‘Jewish’ reshapes culture and provides a model for survival.

The article shows by means of dialogues the image of Maisara, which occupies an important place in Hamza's work, and the aphoristic characteristic of the proverb in his speech, the elegance-rejection inherent in the anecdote, the manifestation of lyricism inherent in the song. It is suggested that the ‘nationalising’ details in Maisara's speech indicate that she is a very clever, resourceful, eloquent woman and is capable of solving many problems.

Abstract:
The present research deals with the notion of aphorism from the syntactic point of view with reference to translation. Aphorism plays an important role in language as a part of gaining cultural knowledge, metaphorical understanding and communicative competence. It reflects moral and philosophical meanings in different aspects of life, such as love, hatred, death, advice, faith and so on. Aphorisms are examples of folk literature but they do not tell stories and their purpose is to teach a moral lesson about an accepted truth in a memorable short statement.
