The purpose of this study was to examine the sealing capacity of Thermafil® in orthograde root fillings. One-hundred-and-twenty single rooted teeth were divided into four groups of 30 teeth each and in each of these groups a different root filling technique was applied: single-cone method, lateral condensation, Thermafil® prior to apicectomy and Thermafil® following apicectomy.
