In this work, VVER fuel assembly is calculated using two different codes - Serpent and SCALE. Multiplication factor and several two-group macroscopic parameters including scattering cross-section, fission cross-section, total cross-section and diffusion coefficient were studied. In addition to this, fuel isotopic composition dependency on burnup was calculated as a part of this study. Obtained data are compared and differences are discussed. As the capabilities of mobile apps and the types of personal information required to run apps have diversified, the need for increased security has grown. In particular, Android apps are vulnerable to repackaging attacks, so various code protection techniques such as obfuscation and packing have been applied. However, apps protected with these techniques can also be disabled with static and dynamic analyses. In recent years, instead of using such application level protec

We explored the potential of asthma apps to support self-management and identified preferred features that enable users to live with asthma. We recruited patients from five UK practices and social media; observed their usage of our app, administered a questionnaire and interviewed a purposive sample of patients and professionals to explore preferred features. Thematic analysis of interview was synthesised with quantitative data. A total of 111 patients used our app for 3 months. We interviewed 15 patients and 16 professionals. Participants were interested in a broad range of self-management su

Mindfulness-based interventions (MBIs) and practices (MBPs) can promote better health outcomes. Although MBIs and MBPs were developed to be delivered in-person, mobile health (mHealth) tools such as apps have made these more accessible. Mindfulness apps (MAs) are popular among emerging adults (EAs) who have the highest ownership of smartphones and who are also at risk for distress. While adverse effects have been observed with MBIs/MBPs, this has not been examined when mindfulness is practiced using apps. We interviewed EAs (n = 22) to capture their motivations for using these apps and identif

Caregivers remain the primary source of attachment, nurturing, and socialization for human beings in our current society. Family caregivers provide 11 to 100 h of care per week to their loved ones, including emotional and social support, assistance with transportation, home care, and so on. However, caregivers find the workload challenging due to fatigue, burnout, depression, anxiety, and sleep disturbances, and sometimes also from an excessive burden. Caregiver burden and stress ultimately negatively affect family members and caregivers. The caregiver is then at risk of developing deleterious
