Abstract:
Envelope constructions of panel apartment buildings in Slovakia are made up of one or more layers of external panels. They typically have one or double-skin flat roofs. Nowadays, almost all envelope constructions, that yet have not been insulated and renovated, show to have insufficient thermoisolation performances. Especially roofs seems to have unsatisfactory moisture regime facilities. The article describes fundamental thermal technical characteristics of envelope constructions (external walls and flat roofs) in panel appartment buildings in their original state and after renewal in the form of additional thermal insulation.

City planners (including e-planners) have at times sought to “speak truth to power,” as when the interests of poor neighborhoods' needs to preserve jobs and housing confront real estate developers promoting urban renewal schemes to replace existing homes and factories with upscale appartments and shopping malls. The planners have tools – writing, speaking, and the array of ICT devices they can employ. But they face powerful forces – not only developers, but builders, investors, professionals, city officials and media. This article – set in 1980s and 1990s Chicago -- presents the story of an alternative approach – an organizer who built a coalition of neighborhoods and employers that prevailed over a period of years. It may be a metaphor for more contemporary times. Can e-planners learn from such an example?

Descendant du chevalier Bayard, Pierre de Boscosel de Chastelard faisait partie de la compagnie de gentilshommes qui accompagnèrent Marie Stuart en Écosse après la mort de François II. Épris de la reine, il se cacha sous son lit en espérant peut-être séduire sa bien-aimée ; la souveraine lui pardonna cette audace, mais le jeune homme ne put s’empêcher d’oser une seconde tentative. Surpris par une servante de Marie, l’amant éperdu fut livré aux tribunaux et décapité. À partir des récits de John Knox et de Brantôme, je propose d’étudier les enjeux et les modalités de la représentation des passions dans les œuvres que les historiens, les romanciers, et les peintres ont consacrées à la tragique destinée de Chastelard. Métamorphosé en personnage de fiction historique, le gentilhomme amoureux joue un rôle important dans l’intrigue de La Princesse de Clèves ; son histoire fit aussi l’objet d’une étonnante supercherie littéraire : William Henry Ireland publie en 1808 ses Effusions of Love from Chatelar to the queen of Scotland, ensemble de fragments et de poèmes soi-disant composés par le jeune homme peu avant son exécution. This paper focuses on the life of Pierre de Boscosel de Chastelard, a French gentleman and aspiring poet who was beheaded on the order of Mary Stuart after he entered the queen’s appartments without permission. I have studied various historical accounts (notably those of John Knox and Pierre de Brantôme), that provide very different versions of the events that led to Chastelard’s execution: he is sometimes presented as a spy in the service of the French crown, sometimes as a paramour whose presence at court had become too inconveniencing for the queen of Scots. From these historical accounts, I follow Boscosel’s transformation into a fictional character in Madame de Lafayette’s La Princesse de Clèves (1678), William Henry Ireland’s forged Effusions of love from Chatelard to Mary, queen of Scots (1808), and Swinburne’s Chastelard, a tragedy (1866). My goal is to unveil and analyze the nationalistic and political motivations that underlie successive historical and fictional accounts of the French court poet’s life and death.

Redundancy became very common these days. As a consequence unknown brownfields are appearing still faster. Apartment houses owned by municipality became one of these places, as well. There are hundreds of apartments empty nowadays in the city centre of Brno. All of these unused spaces are misunderstood opportunity. Great potential can be used for necessary urban regeneration and re-occupation of the city centre. The only obstacle seems to be missing strategy and general conception. It’s essential to focus on advantages while every house is unique and offers uncountable options of use. Forgotten places can be great opportunity with a new strategy. Activation of houses would bring a new community and would help to reuse inner spaces within urban structure on the background of real sustainable development and compact city principles.

Having a home is one of the most basic human needs and everyone attempts to accommodate this need as well as possible. We consequently decide what approach is most advantageous for our needs - whether to rent a home or whether to buy and own one. If we decide owning a home is the right option, we then have to decide, how to go about purchasing it. Not everyone can afford paying for a property upfront in cash and at that is when banks come into play, lending us money to buy property. This paper focuses on whether having a mortgage is the correct strategy for acquiring a home. This will vary individual to individual based on his or her life goals and other factors. Generally, it can be said that purchasing a home using a mortgage can be advantageous, but the difference between renting and buying on a mortgage might not be that significant. Renting a home does have its own specific advantages, and when one's financial plans are managed correctly, it can be a better option for accomplishing financial independence.

Supply planning is one of the key steps in an apartment building constructionproject, due to the repetitive nature of these projects where the constructionpace therefore has a crucial importance. However, if the working forceplanning and the materials planning are often acknowledged as important,the equipment supply planning can happen to be considered as secondary.Therefore less effort has been put in the tools used to make this planning.This master thesis is the result of a work in collaboration with the methodsdepartment at Eiffage Construction Habitat, one of the most important Frenchconstruction companies. It presents the implementation of a tool that automatesan important part of the equipment supply planning in order to gain efficiencyduring this planning process and to be able to focus deeper on the keyissues of the project. This tool allows to drastically reduce the time spentduring the supply planning for the equipment of the structural phase, bothregarding vertical works (walls and columns) and horizontal works (floors,beams and balconies). Along with making the planning more efficient, itallows to standardize the output documents and facilitate the work of theother departments with whom the methods department collaborates. Resultingfrom a case study and an internal survey, the implemented tool relies onthe Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications technology, allowing to staywithin the users’ range of mastered software, therefore improving the adoptionpotential of the tool. The results analysis showed a great satisfaction from theusers, both regarding the abilities of the tool and its form.
Resursplaneringen är ett av de viktigaste stegen i ett projekt för byggandeav flerbostadshus på grund av den repetitiva karaktären hos dessa projektdär bygghastigheten därför har en avgörande betydelse. Men om arbetskraftsplaneringenoch materialplaneringen ofta ses som viktiga kan planeringenav utrustningsförsörjningen råka betraktas som sekundär. Därför har mindreansträngningar lagts på de verktyg som används för att göra denna planering.Detta examensarbete är resultatet av ett arbete i samarbete med metodavdelningenvid Eiffage Construction Habitat, ett av de viktigaste franska byggföretagen.Arbetet presenterar implementeringen av ett verktyg som automatiseraren viktig del av planeringen av utrustningsförsörjningen för att få effektivitetunder denna planeringsprocess och för att kunna fokusera djupare på deviktigaste frågorna i projektet. Detta verktyg gör det möjligt att drastisktminska den tid som spenderas under leveransplaneringen för konstruktionsfasensutrustning, både när det gäller vertikala arbeten (väggar och pelare)och horisontella arbeten (golv, balkar och balkonger). Tillsammans med atteffektivisera planeringen möjliggör det att standardisera utdata och underlättaarbetet för de andra avdelningar som metodavdelningen samarbetar med.Till följd av ett studiefall och en intern undersökning är det implementeradeverktyget beroende av Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications-tekniken,vilket gör det möjligt att hålla sig till denprogramvara som användarnashar tillgång till och kan behärska, , vilket förbättrar möjligheter för attverktyget ska accepteras och använda verktyget. Resultatanalysen visade enstor tillfredsställelse från användarna, både vad gäller kan leverera och hurgränssnittet till användaren är utformat.

The task of the thesis is to determine the economic rent for passive residential building. Work first defines the essential terms related to the topic of economic rent, then it continues with theoretical determination of the economic rent, which consists of the costs and a reasonable profit. The determination of economic rent for residental Pasove building is done through inserting real values to a pre-described method of calculation. The result of diploma thesis is the determination of economic rents in number of 8 variants with varying degrees of capitalization levels and discount rates. Identified economic rents are finally compared by direct comparison with similar flats and evaluated.

Abstract:
The study deals with the castle of the Moravský Krumlov and the former stables located nearby. The main purpose of this thesis is the reconstruction of the whole mansion, the renewal of its life on a daily basis and the avoidance of a complete dilapidation of the building. The chateau is being used multifunctionally, emphasis is added to the Slovanská epopej by Alfons Mucha, the artwork which represents the successful historical period from the past. The major part of the building is occupied by a gallery and an exhibition, which brings us to so called artistic incubator, another part of the chateau which was designed to provide sufficient background as well as enough place for acommodation . The castle also offers a hall for holding cultural events and receptions, free time activities centre and several appartments. The building of the stables is being used as a restaurant and an accomodation. The integral part of the whole area is also the courtyard , surrounded by ramparts (walls), where brand new exhibition entitled Příběh epopeje is about to be made.

Abstract:
The Building is a combination of a green house and multi familyhousing building. The building´s courtyard is transformed in to a winter garden and creates an climate controlled environment with exotic vegitation blooming all year around. The courtyard is working as an extra livingroom with nice public walks in different levels were people can relax, exercise and socialise. The heat generated from the winter garden can be reused and recycled in to the floor slabs. It can also be deposited into the ground under the garden creating a climate smart heating system. One important aspect when drawing the plans was to give all the apartments a private space inside the wintergarden. I created plans where the allocation of the garden is equal. the private space is located on the second floor in the duplex apartments but some apartments only consist of one level and some extra care went in to making a private space for them too. The winter garden not only allows people to watch the trees and plants it also gives them the possibility to grow there own food on the private balcony and  just outside the kitchen window. Having plants outside the kitchen blocks the view from people passing by on the public promenade.
Byggnaden är en kombination av ett växthus och ett flerbostadshus. Byggnadens innergår har ett glastak som som möjliggör ett controllerat climat med växter som blommar året runt. innergården fungerar som ett extra vardagsrum med trevliga promenader i olika nivåer där människor kan träna, socialisera eller bara slapna av och njuta naturen. Värmen som genereras av den inglasade gården kan återanvändas och pupmas in i bjälklagen och marken under gården vilket skapar ett klimatsmart uppvärmningssystem.  en viktig aspekt när jag ritade planerna var att ge alla lägenheter ett privat rum inne i gården. Jag skapade planer där anspråket av gården var så lika som möjligt. Det privata rummet är placerat på övervåningen i etage lägenheterna men några lägenheter har bara ett plan vilket ledde till några special lösningar för att skapa ett avgränsat rum för dem också. Den ingalsade gården erbjuder inte bara en vacker miljö med växter och träd, det finns även möjlighet att odla sia egna frukter och grönsaker på den privata balkongen samt utanför köksfönstret. Planteringen av högre växter utanför fönstret kan skydda insynen från grannar som går förbi på den publika prommenaden.

The dissertation solves the project documentation for the new building of two storey, partially is designed as the building with the wine cellar and accomodation in the attic. The building includes 5 accomodation units, the wine shop, the shop for the wine-making equipments, spaces for the archiving wine and the social room. The building is situated in the urban area Velke Bilovice. It is designed to the irregular ground plan based on the strip foundation. The perimeter masonry of the cellar spaces constitutes formwork PREFA, the top part is designed by the system of POROTHERM T PROFI. The construction of ceiling is projected as saddle roof and false hip roof with dormers. The roof covering is designed from the ceramic tiles BRAMAC RUBIN.
