This thesis aims to apply Empirical Mode Decomposition (EMD), Multiscale Entropy (MSE), and collaborative adaptive filters for the monitoring of different brain consciousness states. Both block based and online approaches are investigated, and a possible extension to the monitoring and identification of Electromyograph (EMG) states is provided. Firstly, EMD is employed as a multiscale time-frequency data driven tool to decompose a signal into a number of band-limited oscillatory components; its data driven nature makes EMD an ideal candidate for the analysis of nonlinear and non-stationary dat

Abstract:
This presentation will provide behavior analysts (BCBAs) and others with information about and skills in identifying, selecting and using evidence-based practices (EBP) in ABA. The definition and criteria for EBP, its conceptual similarities to and differences from the Baer, Wolf and Risley (1968, 1987) dimensions of ABA, resources for identifying EBPs, EBP examples relevant to BCBAs, and research, practical and ethical issues in EBPs for ABA will be presented and discussed. Two sources have outlined evidence-based practices for children with ASD. Prior to receiving information about EBPs, edu

Abstract:
Two hardware factors contributing to the overall image quality of digital CR Ts are display resolution and addressability. The relationship between these two factors and human performance was modeled by a metric of display quality, the Resolution Addressability Ratio (RAR), and investigated within the contexts of Word-Processing (WP) and Computer-Aided-Drafting (CAD) tasks. The findings indicate a perceptual limit to MTF bandwidth improvements, and significant differences iii display quality requirements between the two applications. The regression of image quality as a function of RAR metric
