Full textAn interdisciplinary approach has been proposed for the vehicle routing problem. The idea is to consider human factors and dynamic aspects for the decision support system (DSS) design. In our approach, a link is done between methods of operations research and an ecological interface design coming from engineering cognitive. A work domain analysis for the vehicle routing problem has been done. The analysis is realized through an abstraction hierarchy, which facilitates the identification of the problem constraints. We have proposed a DSS architecture based on this analysis and on constraint programming. Specific algorithms and solving mechanisms based on model inversion have been proposed and integrated in the system. Finally, we have design a set of human-machine interfaces in order to facilitate the problem solving to the human planning. The interdisciplinary study has been preceded by an analysis of the parallel machine scheduling problem with precedence constraints and setup times. Tree searches and local searches based on limited discrepancy search have been proposed to solve the problem

Full textThis work is an interdisciplinary clinical research, at the crossroads of psychoanalysis and the physical sciences. It investigates the "recovery" in psychosis, described by people who have gone through this ordeal as a subjective, non-linear and irreversible transformation, where the disease, always present, is no longer central in a life now supported by other areas of interest. The interdis-ciplinary approach made it possible to step aside to grasp what could be the main lines of such a transformation and to trace its conditions of possibility. The identification of the internal and external factors involved in natural transformation processes led us, by analogy, to specify the individual and above all the environmental factors most likely to favor the recovery process. Starting from the notion of "plasticity", we have first proposed to add to the notion of psychic structure the physical notion of "texture", which characterizes a "relationship to the world" in the actual, and which is singular and evolutive, in the manner of a text that is updated in a lively manner according to encounters with the real world. The textural transformation of recovery, considered as the transition from one existential position to another, can then be described as a non-linear process of germination of a novelty in a "metastable" environment where disturbances are introduced. This individual transformation modifying the very environment that allowed its occurrence, we introduce the notion of "institutional plasticity" to describe the quality of an institution that would be able to support this psychic movement. This quality of the place to be affected by those who cross it, is illustrated by two examples of contrasting institutions, one working according to the « institutional psychotherapy » approach and the second according to a more traditional approach

Full textThis research bears upon the dynamical evaluation and diagnosis. Evaluation of this sort is interesting because it leads to information about the source of difficulties exhibited by a learner. The results of an evaluation such as this are used by teachers and learners. By using series of tests, we have studied the procedures to enhance measuring, understanding, creating and evaluating individual pedagogical procedures in relation to the diagnosis. In fact, for a given level of understanding, the pedagogical exercises and goals of learning must be different according to the identified sources of difficulties. The analysis of the results obtained, by a cohort of apprentices and different reference groups leads us to identify and describing five profiles of learners with difficulties. The research we conducted in collaboration with a remedial level took place in collaboration with teacher's teachers that promoted a process of professionalism teachers. In such a dynamical perspective, the method of evaluating must be an important element of reasoning and accumulation of knowledge, a didactical way of learning

Full textThe aim of this thesis is to present the creative production of two artists almost unknown in France, Achilles G. Rizzoli (1896-1981) and Unica Zùrn (1916-1970). In return, their works will enable us to question the ambivalent and paradoxical concept of art brut. Highly complex and marginal, their production consists of drawings, prose and poetry, reflecting their « internal experience » of encounter with mental illness. Even if they do not entirely match the initial definition by J. Dubuffet - both artists use elements of (high) culture in their works - the concept of art brut allows us to explore the role of cultural « loans » as well as the problem of address encountered in these productions. Achilles G. Rizzoli, born in Port-Reyes (California, USA), has worked his entire life as a technical draftsman in an architectural company in San Francisco ; he has dedicated his nights to the creation of « symbolic >: drawings, in which he transforms the members of his family in cathedrals and palaces. Later on, he would devote himself to the creation of his second great project, his personal version of the Third Testament entitled Amte's Celestial Extravag(r)anza (A. C. E). Unica Zùrn, born in Berlin Grunewald, begins her artistic career with the creation of anagrams. Painter and writer, her most well known works in France are L'Homme-Jasmin. Impressions d'une malade mentale (The Man of Jasmine. Impressions from a Mental Illness) and Sombre printemps (Dark Spring, 1971). This thesis presents several possible approaches, however, without pretending at being exhaustive

Full textThis study shows the role of the performance in the identity construction of the initiates from the bwitist community called "disumba mongo na bata" among the Gabonese Fang. To a large extent, this work aims to find a coherent and unified interdisciplinary approach to the study of performance. Since musical activity is present at every moment of the main ritual called "ngozo", we consider the ritual as performance. The choice of the performance concept allows us to consider in our analysis the musical matter and the other elements intimately linked to it in the ritual practice of the "bwiti" cult: the linguistic and corporeal matters. According to both formal and ethnological analyses, this study allows to underline the several levels of meaning of the performance in the ritual. Performance structures the ritual and takes part into the representation of the "bwiti"universe. Each material (songs, musical instruments, dances, ritual actions) is a specific channel of meanings on a structural and a symbolic dimensions of analysis. Performance has a specific role in the complex identity construction of the initiates: several identities are built through the performative and symbolic funstions of the ritual actions. Preserving, updating and passing down to the initiates the practice and interpretative ritual knowledge, the performance further builds up the ritual, sexual and social identities of the initiates

Full textThis manuscript presents the results of an interdisciplinary study of wildlife exploitation in Banga, a bofi forest village of 300 persons in Central African Republic. In the first part of this work, operating modes and worldviews of the four main local stakeholders of wildlife management are confronted: the Central African State, the local peoples (Pygmies and Bantus), a forester and a conservation-development project. This analysis shows marked differences between actors in terms of internal organization, influence networks, means available, knowledge of the resource and its exploitations, values, goals, strategies and vision of the future. Basically, there is a major conceptual divide between local people and the others stakeholders. The second part of this work summarizes the methods developed by the Conservation Biology to assess the sustainability of wildlife harvesting, applying them to our study site. We distinguished sustainability indices that can be classified as empirical or theoretical, and site-specific modeling exercises. This review identifies many approximations, uncertainties, questionable assumptions and errors that limit the relevance of sustainability indices. Furthermore, our analysis shows that these methods carry implicit values (environmentalism, fixism and neo-liberalism) that influence their results. Thus, the third part of this thesis proposes a synthesis of the wildlife management problem in Banga using the Panarchy framework, which gives a new definition of sustainability, of the role of science and of the practice of interdisciplinarity for complex problems solving. Four scenarios of prospective change and action are constructed, which clarify the values they promote, the beneficiaries of the actions engaged, the probability of success and their expected results

Full textAn interdisciplinary approach of controlled mechanical system design is used for the first-project step. We put emphasis on pluridisciplinary character of the design and on structure induction task during the predesign ; a methodology is proposed in order to achieve a global synthesis by identifying predominant phenomena. Their minimum model may lead to a solution structure which verified performance requirements. The study aims to synthesize controlled mechanisms. Based on dynamic interaction between mechanism and feedback-characterized by spillover and (non)colocated sensors- a minimum model is worked out for the interdisciplinary synthesis. Model analysis provides some interaction properties which are useful for the designer, especially for the location choices of position and speed sensor. Some nondimensional laws for the interdisciplinary synthesis of mechanisms are obtained from the algebric resolution of inverse problem. A “versatile” pole placement of servomechanism is established so as to specify the dynamic performances to be performed by the mechanism. These synthesis laws are associated with some classical laws dedicated to the choices of actuator and transmission ratio. Application to drive system of machine leads to a step-by-step approach and a more synthetic approach. Based on stated requirements and manufacturer catalogues a high speed translation drive system with a ball screw system can be design : actuator, kinematic, mechanism setting are chosen owing to presizing of the solutions

Full textThe challenge of feeding 9.6 billion people in 2050 requires to identify sustainable livestock production systems that are able to produce more agricultural products while consuming less resources and producing less externalities. As part of a multidisciplinary research program (ANR-EPAD), we explored microeconomic tools for productivity analysis such as efficient frontiers to shed a new light on sustainable development of livestock production. Our models empirically showed that the progress margins can significantly differ depending on the objectives pursued in the context of eco-inefficiency reduction (input and pollution reduction, output augmentation). Exploration of "dual" models also showed that efficient frontier methods were relevant to provide an economic valuation of non-monetary negative externalities. For instance, our results on the economic value of carbon emissions were close to the observed carbon tax levels. The possibility for farmers to consider that nitrogen surpluses can generate some revenue illustrates the current debate on the integration of undesirable outputs in the Data Envelopment analysis (DEA), and the ambivalence of this indicator of environmental impact as well (either considered as a source of pollution to the air or soil as well as a source of income through organic fertilization). We developed an innovative approach to assess the determinants of eco-efficiency in livestock production. By combining GAMEDE (a "whole-farm" model) with a DEA methodology, we highlighted the potential for further questioning raised by the exploration of new types of modelling in agronomy (such as "simulation-based optimization" or "inverse modelling")

Full textThis PhD work in archaeology proposes a panorama on the iron metallurgy in Mediterranean France from Roman Antiquity to the beginning of the Middle Ages. It is based on an archaeological step assimilating an archaeometric approach especially adapted to the analysis of the ancient iron artefacts: metallography and petrography. Precise bibliographical inventories are drawn up to globally consider the problem and to make a state of the art of knowledge acquired in the past, moreover the present work is mainly anchored on the new and detailed studies of twelve significant metallurgical contexts with specific topics – said, pilot archaeological site. Those are documented by the completeness of archaeological data and, especially, by a rigorous description of installations, sorting of practically 28000 metallurgical materials – objects and slags – and archaeometric analysis of 169 of them. This thesis is structured around the three great activities which emerge from iron bloomery process: the production of the metal – the direct reduction of the ore –, the manufacture of the objects – their forging – and the trade of ferrous artefacts in a semi-finished form – the circulation of the semi-products. Thus, through the evolution of these three economic types of activity, it is possible to highlight the choices and the behaviors which were adopted for the same exercise to finally contribute to a better knowledge of the society to the Roman Antiquity at the beginning of the Middle Ages in the south of Gaul

Full textPerchlorate (ClO4-) has frequently been detected in groundwater at concentrations relevant to human health. Analyzes in Champagne-Ardenne have highlighted the presence of ClO4- in groundwater for drinking water supply. The ClO4- has two suspected sources: a military source related to World War I (WWI) and an agricultural source related to past use of Chilean nitrate fertilizers. The objectives of the study are to determine the sources and behavior of ClO4- in the Champagne Chalk aquifer and to explain the heterogeneities observed by specifying the aquifer functioning. The study area is located east of Reims. A methodology involving historical, hydrodynamic, geochemistry, groundwater dating and isotope analysis has been developed. High spatio-temporal heterogeneities are observed in the Chalk aquifer. A conceptual model of aquifer functioning is proposed, highlighting main factors governing the Chalk groundwater geochemistry. ClO4- is detected throughout the area with high concentrations (> 4 µgL-1) detected mainly downgradient the Champagne Mounts, where large quantities of ammunition were used, stored and destroyed during and after WWI. A post-WWI military origin of ClO4- is inferred from isotopic analysis and groundwater ages. Different tendencies of ClO4- variation are observed and interpreted by a combination of ClO4- concentrations, aquifer functioning and historical investigations, revealing major sources of ClO4- (e.g., unexploded ammunitions, ammunition destruction sites) and its transfer mechanisms in the aquifer. ClO4- contamination in the Champagne Chalk seems unlikely to decrease in the short- to medium-term due to the long persistence time of major sources

Full textThis research deals with the field of "plastic arts". Several strands are woven into it. What is its mode of being? What differences arise between educationnal and scientific statements? This paper puts forward the hypothesis that there is a parallel with the problem of language. It does this by first confronting the "plastic arts" with question of how a scientific object is specified and by what logic. The author considers how the scientific approach differs from skill within the discipline. The method proposed is to analyse piece by piece. In this way the author attemps to unravel the plurality of accepted meanings, the variety and the multiplicity of titles, and the many and varied practices gathered under the heading of the "plastic arts". The question remains, where does this leave aesthetic discourse?

Full textAbstract: Introduction: Despite numerous recommendations promoting the integration of palliative approach to all clinical settings, many conceptual, cultural and organizational barriers still limit the integration of this approach in the intensive care unit (ICU). However, our team has recently demonstrated that three conditions promote the integration of palliative care in the ICU. Namely, a common vision, a collaborative decision-making process and a proper environment (Guay et al., 2013). Aim: In the light of these results, we have developed, implemented and evaluated in collaboration with an ICU team, an intervention aiming to integrate these previously identified conditions. Method: A qualitative action research design was chosen for this study. This collaborative method, values consensual decision-making process and provides an organizational structure allowing success and sustainability (Stringer, 2007). Results: The development phase led to the co-construction of a two components intervention, the first one is an educational component through an interactive training workshop and a communication component by implementing a regular structure of interdisciplinary enhancing by establishing a regular structure of interdisciplinary meeting. Following an iterative process and informed by evidence, the implementation and continuous validation phase has promoted ownership of the change by the team and led to a new practice, which was positively evaluated by the team and appreciated by the family. Conclusion: This study illustrates how action research promotes the process of learning and innovation in transforming the clinical environment in a place of growth and knowledge production. The previously identified facilitating conditions were able to enlighten this study. Although our results are inextricably linked to the environment in which they were generated, the research method proposed by this study could inspire other clinical settings.

Full textDuring the past fifty years, water use has been on a constant increase over the Mediterranean basin, Three quarters of water withdrawals come from superficial water resources. Thus, groundwater resources appears as a solution to surface water rarefaction. karstic groundwater constitutes an important and easily renewable reserve. The Cesse-Pouzols hydrosystem, located in the South of France, is composed by the karstic basin of the Cesse (275 km ²) and the karstic aquifer of Pouzols. At the borderline between the Corbières in the South, the Montagne Noire in the North and the thrust of St-Chinian in the East, its geology and geometry are complex and it inherits from big tectonic events of Languedoc Roussillon. During the quaternary era, karstic network developed owing to changes the Cesse changements of direction , generating zones of losses and resurgences. The synthesis of the basin hydro-geomorphologic evolution allowed establishing a first scheme of its hydrogeological functioning. The description of current networks and newly installed tools allowed collectingrainfall , flow and water table data available on this hydrosystem thusimproving knowledge of the site by a hydrodynamic and hydrochemical analysis. Thanks to these analyses (i) correlations between surface and groundwater were identified as well as(ii) the presence of an important groundwater reserve through a good hydraulic conductivity, (iii) a strong stocking capacity, (iv) a zone of reload located on the medium altitude of contact between the tertiary carbonate formation and the Primary formation of the Montagne Noire. A mixture between very ancient waters and recent waters was also highlighted notably thanks to the use of stable isotopes of water and anthropogenic gases (CFCS and SF6). In order to estimate the maximum volume of groundwater that could possibly be pumped and to offer an active management of the hydrosystem Cesse-Pouzols, a daily conceptual modelling was developed, based on the hydrological model GR4J. It was chosen to develop this model by integration of surface water/groundwater interacations and by the recognition of slow and quick flows. A GR5J model was so developed. The recognition of correlations between the reservoirs of the aquifer allowed setting up a GR7J model. However, GR7J does not introduce net improvement in comparison to GR5J and mentions one «over - parameterization» according to today's available data. The GR5J model was therefore used Maximum volume of groundwater pumped in Pouzols aquifer is estimated between 4,5 and 6 millions of m3 per year. However, this figure must be modulated according to the future environmental flow of the Cesse and to the value of the present samples of the river

Full textPeriods of drought, water consumption and pollution are increasing and alarming especially in Northern Mexico, where aridity, agricultural production and cross-border conjuncture make water resources management crucial. Associated with socio-economic dynamics, hydric variations affect societies at various levels (sanitary, economic, ecologic, …). Water scarcity studies address these different factors in synthetic diagnostics that help decision-making. The matter is to define action perimeters in order to reduce population exposure, but also consider sociosystem fragilities as well as adaptation capacities which increase or reduce the population vulnerability to water scarcities. Then analysis must go beyond disciplinary frameworks and one-scale analyzes. In this process Water Poverty Index (WPI) is interesting even if the place granted to hydrological and environmental factors in its statistical applications are questioned. WPI is calculated using cartographical tools and (public) data in the State of Chihuahua to make visible contrasted water scarcities. Three Multi-Criteria Evaluations alternatives are applied through TerrSet software adapting WPI scale calculation, indicator normalization and factor compensation. The maps obtained are interesting since they reveal socio-economic shortages in Chihuahuas’ Mountains, hydrological shortages in the desert territories, and massive aquifer overexploitation in the development corridors located at the interface of these two geographical entities. Indeed, WPI maps also insist on rural marginalization and importance of agricultural water management. This exposure diagnostic is completed by a discourse qualitative approach in the agricultural region of Delicias. Analyzing local relations allow specifying the cartographical diagnostic: cleavages are dividing the sociosystem and explain the vulnerability to human degradation of the resource of the territory

Full textLime burning is a section of handmade production interfacing with construction and uses of fire. With pluridisciplinary approach, a statement of this unwell known craft was exposed. During the second Middle Age, making lime technics used in the Mediterranean north-occidental areas are plural. Natural environment makes a great influence on the used technics and also on the ways to organize this craft. Before cooking the lime, lime burners are using intricated technic process in collecting and transforming materials for kilns use. The limestone must be extracted, crushed then charged up. Several “chaînes opératoires” are involved in making the lime. This multiplicity is not only a technic one but a social translation also. If the cooking section is indeed leaded by professionals handworkers, other technic sections can be consigned by other kind of workers even sometimes for just only one section. The handworkers expertise appears to be resulting material and technic restraints, but also social ones. Lime burning hold a special position in both society and economy in the end of the Middle Age. Despite the essential use of lime production in some particular industry, lime burners – not numerous - are only holding a secondary position in the medieval society

Full textThis thesis proposes an empirical study of the patrimonialization of the Nobel dynamite factory in southern France. This factory is now a public-open site since June 28th 2008. When it stopped its production in 1984, the company abandoned the factory and left its employees jobless. This situation had many consequences and created numerous controversies, partly because of the real estate interest that was shown for the territory on which the old factory was built. This thesis explores the different steps that led the authorities to declare the Nobel factory a public territory, according to a 1930 French law. This study also analyses the role played and the positions taken by different actors (associations, workers, medias, public agents, territorial communities, etc.) form 1984 to 2008, when the factory was made a public site. By doing so, the author wishes to trace the different processes that led to the patrimonialization of the Nobel dynamite factory.

Full textAmong several other activities practice on coastal socio-ecological system, recreational fishing ones have significantly increased over the past few years, becoming an issue for sustainable development. In France, the weakness of states governance concerning DPM management, questions the relevancy and feasibility of a co-management policy for these leisure activities. This paradigm, constituting a good substitute for top-down management, recommends an increased participation of local populations for managing environments and improving their outcomes. Oléron Island is thus affected by these observations, which are intensified by societal changes distinguishing island territories. In the current research context, aiming at solving societal problematic, it is relevant to consider an interdisciplinary approach to provide relevant answers. Concerning recreational shellfish gathering targeting the velvet swimming crab, results in biology and ecology highlight some characteristics which should indicate a weak short and long terms potential impact of the disturbances affecting local populations. As regards to societal aspects, the relevancy of co-management is clearly demonstrated by several land-use conflicts, a lack of means to manage the practice and scientific data, the lack of consultation, etc. The territorial dynamic and local initiatives, as well as land-use conflicts, underline the existence of a “political window” which should allow the implementation of a co-management process for recreational fishing in the following years, subject to further efficient communication and a real desire from stakeholders concerned by the management of this practice

Full textPopulation growth and urbanization are major challenges for the management of cities and their resources. Urban mobility is one of these challenges because of its impact on quality of life, economic productivity, and environmental sustainability. In this thesis, the concept of time management is integrated into a new approach to reduce urban mobility congestion. Traditional methods primarily focus on spatial aspects, thus neglecting the temporal dimension. We concentrate on integrating concepts from the Social and Human Sciences (SHS), particularly sociological concepts, into Sciences and Technologies of Information and Communication (STIC) to propose a decision-support solution for the time bureaus, which aims to modify temporalities to reduce urban congestion. The proposed approach consists of three phases: identifying mobility profiles, analyzing traffic congestion, and making temporal decisions. Mobility profiles are predicted using learning techniques that take into account sociological criteria. Traffic congestion analysis investigates Waze data. Finally, the use of time series models allows us to predict congestion levels to propose optimized departure times to avoid urban congestion. The proposed solution has the potential to integrate a set of heterogeneous data in congestion management for harmonious urban cities

Full textThe french education has come to a total mutation ; lots of questions concerning the child and his relationship with the school or with adults are raising up. If we consider that the pupil is also the fruit of a Human Being, endowed with feelings (affects), carrying his own but also collective story, we'll try to understand, thanks to psychoanalisis, how the fear of learning and the difficulty of thinking are revealing a real mutation that we cannot ignore any more. The child cannot leave his affects on the doorstep of the school ; effectively, nor our society, nor our culture take care of these feelings any more. Moreover, his anxiety is relative to existential questions. Now, it appears that the youth literature, written in this infinite cultural flood, taking its source in the oral and ancestral tradition of mythology and fairy tales, may represent an exceptional cultural mediation in order to allow the child to restore his imagination function very closed to his reflexive capacity, basis of all the school training. In this way, the youth literature, including collective representations and staging a potential personal experience located in the realm of imagination, would allow the child to create the link between his daily way of living and the concept: his personal story and his place in the world (universality) in a real perspective of anthropology of school knowledge

Full textPrimary central nervous system lymphomas (PCNSL) are very aggressive malignancies with poor survival rate even with treatments (survival median is 44 months). This disease affects immune cells (lymphocytes) and forms diffuse and non-surgically removable tumor in the central nervous system. High-dose chemotherapy and radiotherapy are the common treatments with severe side effects. New therapeutic approaches are required for increasing treatment efficiency. We focused on primary intraocular lymphomas (PIOL) and primary cerebral lymphomas (PCL), which are subtypes of PCNSL. PIOL and PCL cells have a high propensity to migrate and form metastases in the brain and in the controlateral eye in the case of PIOL, and in the eye in the PCL case. However, metastatic dissemation mechanisms remain unclear. The objective of the present work was to study the effects of innovative treatments of B-cell lymphoma on primary tumor, on metastases, and on circulating tumor cells in PIOL and PCL immunocompetent syngeneic murine models of lymphomas using non-invasive in vivo imaging methods. We studied the effects of Ublituximab, a glycoengineered anti-CD20 monoclonal antibody (mAb), and CpG-ODN, a TLR-9 agonist, in mouse models. We showed that Ublituximab exhibits significant anti-tumor effect in PIOL and PCL, while CpG showed significant anti-tumor effect in PCL. We monitored the tumor burden and metastases using innovating non-invasive optical imaging or cell detection methods: bioluminescence imaging (BLI) and in vivo flow cytometer (IVFC). BLI was used to locate metastasis and to quantify tumor burden. We indeed developed a bioluminescence-based tumor burden quantification method that reduces user-dependence, allows comparisons between experiments, reveals statistical relevance, and which is easy to use. An IVFC device was set up to investigate the role of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) in PIOL and PCL. This fluorescence-based technique allows detection of CTCs by analyzing the cells flowing in blood vessels. However we had to overcome the problem of autofluorescence and tissue absorption. Two approaches were studied in parallel: a elaborating new cell line expressing far red fluorescent proteins, modulating the excitation light of an IVFC device to give the cell a unique signature therefore enhancing sensitivity, increasing signal to noise ratio. The modulated excitation IVFC allowed us to calculate the velocity of cells, and infer their position in blood vessel phantoms. The analysis of treatment effects on tumor burden, metastases and CTCs in PIOL and PCL could help understanding lymphoma metastatic dissemination and contribute to treatment follow-up, thus allowing design of new therapeutic approaches with increased efficacy

The overall objective of this study was to determine how the use of interdisciplinary themes can contribute to the teaching and learning of mathematics in the early grades of elementary school. The theoretical and presentation of data in the research are arranged into four chapters. The first addresses the education in early grades according to the National Curriculum, Guidelines and National Education, as well as references to authors such as Arruda and Moretti (2002, p. 424), Rodrigues (2001, p. 241), Arruda (2004, p. 21st). In the second phase of the theoretical approaches to interdisciplinarity as having supported the authors Farm (1998, p. 10), Lück (1995, p. 64), Morin (1999, p. 76). Terminates the chapter addressing to Contextualization in early grades being supported by Barbosa (2012, p. 4), and Luccas Baptist (2012, p. 9), Santana (2012, p. 1). The second chapter refers to research methodology and qualitative her purpose and applied based by the authors and Caleffe Moreira (2008, p. 90), Rivero (2012, p. 1-2). The collection and analysis of data was discussed in the third chapter, where it was reported and discussed activities along the 35 children, aged 10-12 years, enrolled in the 4th grade (now the 5th grade) elementary school in a public school in Guarapuava, Paraná. By developing an interdisciplinary practice and based on observations, photos, reports mentioned by the students and notes made by the teacher, in conducting activities developed by students during the meetings, it was found that the students began to identify the mathematical content as that can be learned without major obstacles, highlighting its relevance in their educational training. There was also greater utilization in relation to learning content developed in particular by the connection of mathematical knowledge in situations of reality they experience, but also with the knowledge of other disciplines. Activities and analysis on the third chapter of that work. The fourth chapter mentions the final considerations and constraints faced by the researcher and suggestions for future work. From these considerations, we prepared a notebook with educational activities focused on math content, so that it can serve as subsidies to help teachers of the lower grades to work with interdisciplinarity themes.

Abstract: Information Science as an interdisciplinary Science can provide the essential theoretical framework for studies of information culture. In this perspective, it has deepened on the studies that have been carried out in this scope, aiming at debating and reflecting on the theoretical-methodological understandings constructed throughout the existence of this scientific field. It was evidenced that there are few studies directly oriented to the interdisciplinarity of Information Science, more specifically in relation to their contributions to the studies of the information culture. The objective was to analyze the theoretical construction in the field of Information Science, regarding its interdisciplinarity, aiming to highlight its contribution to the studies of information culture. In this sense, the concepts, currents and approaches on interdisciplinarity, the historiographic evolution of the studies of information culture and the scientific production on the subject were analyzed. In addition, we sought to analyze and reflect on the characteristics and attributes attributed to the conception of 'Information and Knowledge Society' and, lastly, we analyzed the contributions of the area of Information Science regarding its interdisciplinarity for Information culture. For that, a descriptive and exploratory study of a qualitative and quantitative nature was carried out, whose corpus of analysis was formed through 'History of Concepts' and 'Bibliometry'. Regarding the analysis of the information collected, we opted for the 'Content Analysis' method, more specifically the 'Categorical Analysis' technique, since it provides interpretations and inferences related to the objectives proposed in the research. It was evidenced that the studies on information culture in the field of Information Science, especially ... (Complete abstract click electronic access below)

Abstract: This study was developed from the observation made by the teacher/ researcher during the art classes taught in basic education and the questioning: How do the students realize the relation of art to order disciplines, more specifically the sciences? In this way, the research had the objective of analyzing the students' conceptions about the disciplines of art and sciences, as well as providing a reflection on the artistic and scientific practices related to photography. Preliminarly the study makes a reflection on artistic and scientific production, and then propose some questions revealed by the intervention of photography about the conception of the image as reality and the sciences as truth. These questions were discussed with the students of the 9th year of elementary school in a public school is a small town of São Paulo State, based on an interdisciplinary didactic sequence, addressing the contents of science and art applied in the development of photography. In the responses of the students, the need for interdisciplinary practices was observed to expand and descontruct certain mistaken images that the students posses in relation to art and science. This research resulted in a book as an education product, whose purpose is to subsidize teaching practice in proposing interdisciplinary studies relating art, science and photography
