Le, Goff Jean-Louis. "Savoirs et savoir-faire dans les transferts de technologie : appropriation locale des connaissances et dynamique du progrès technique." Paris 7, 1994. http://www.theses.fr/1994PA070115.
Full textIn the research literature on technology transfers, few studies relate to the modalities of their implementation. These aspects are however essential in order to understand the control of a technical capacity at the crucial moment of its appropriation. The technological modernisation of business requires a large capacity to adapt, because the success of operation depends a priori on the technical, organisational and human means mobilised for the integration of technologies into local demands. Employing principally several cases of transfers in chile, in the telecommunications sectors and the car industry, the author shows that the evolution of the job-training capacities of receiving firms is in correlation with a dynamic of technical progress developped by rich countries. The consequences which result for actors in transfers reveal themselves to be eminently contradictory. The expansion of information technologies in the western firms is the principal factor behind a paradigmatic change in the conditions of production of goods and services. In this context, the type of knowledge which was indispensable in the past to drive the production process loses its functional importance, because automatic production systems have, in past, absorbed them. Furthermore the draconian control of conditions of production places these operational capacities in complex procedures which inhibits their development. The systematisation of the means of production and control requires, however, a symetrical flexibility of the organisation of work. The majority of latin-american firms are not yet engaged in this reforms

Full textThis dissertation analyses the uses and appropriations of technologies of media and communication above all on the internet, by neans of a habitual experiment in the purpose of supporting a social movement, "zapatism" in the high lands of Chiapas, in Mexico. The study shows the large panel of the forms of the social appropriation of the techniques of media and communication, which favoured the emergence of a cultural ensemble and creation of knowledge and social links connecting local and global fields

Full textThe thesis is carried out as part of an industrial convention of a research training program (Cifre) with a consultancy firm specialized in social relationships, in the study of contemporary issues of work (organisation, working conditions, working evolution etc…) and in the companies’strategy. This firm carries expert assessments requested by the Institutions representing the staff (works council or joint consultative committee, Chsct) – an appropriation which is marked by a strong disparity. This investigation fits into a study line made by the Dares on the staff representatives acknowledgements which was made in 2009 by both the firm and the Ceperc. During this investigation, it appeared that the assessment had an ambiguous place in the speech of the staff representatives. Though they thought the investigation useful, they don’t always relate it to a source of knowledge. Beginning with a reflection on the notion of expertise, this work seeks to understand how expertise operates as a link between the world of militant workers and that of the experts working with representative bodies. The first part of my thesis tends to confine these two worlds distinctly, while the second offers to put them into practice through the activity of the practice and a survey conducted with the staff representatives. The results thus obtained allow us to bring out paths of appropriation depending on militants profile, categories of expertise and knowledge

Full textOn the basis of a comparison between third year medical student and third year (degnee) level students of sociology this research seeks to show the heuristic interest of the point of view of the sociology of knowledge for understanding the forms of intellectual work carried out by students. The sociology of knowledge, in conjunction with the sociology of education, attempts to reconstruct and describe the socio-cognitive logics of the different forms of knowledge and the disciplinary framework which students must master. In this respect, this study shows that between sociology and medecine, as they are practiced and taught in third year courses in the faculties under study, there are differences in the degrees of formalisation and both written and graphic codification of knowledge and relations of learning which are as a result unequally established and definied, regulated and programmed, segmented and framed, in the projects for action they give rise to in each discipline. In fact these global differences induce others which are more particular and concern different manners of knowing and of what an assignment is, the aims of practical work, the various logics involued and withein these logics their greater or lesser stability and predictability or, indeed, uncertainty

Full textInformation and communication technologies (ICTs) are central to Senegalese public debates. Moreover, the leaders of this country view them as very advantageous to education. However, their introduction in high schools raises a lot of questions from both researchers and educators as regards their usage. This study is about digital practices of high school students Our aim is to understand the extent to which the use of ICTs can enable them to acquire knowledge. Understanding in this regard implies looking at the perceptions, knowledge and skills related to the use of computerized tools, but also the meanings of this usage. The use of ICTs by pupils is also of particular interest to researchers in the fields of humanities and social sciences, especially those in the sociology, cognitive sciences and education areas. Thus, in order to better define the subject, this study used a multidisciplinary theoretical approach and a plural methodology (questionnaires, direct observation and interviews) as well as specific tools (voice-recorder, notes and screenshots) to collect data during two field investigations that were conducted in Dakar secondary schools (from March to April 2013 and November to December 2015). The analysis revealed that these learner-users use digital technologies for learning purposes but also highlighted the "dark side" of their practices. On the basis of the data obtained, we also suggest ways in which ICTs can be optimally integrated in teaching and learning practices
