Abstract In early-life CO2 injection into depleted reservoirs, the temperature downstream choke could potentially drop to lower than the minimum design temperature of wellhead equipment. The objective is to mitigate low temperatures in the Tree and wellhead, by placing choke in manifold/ inline-tee (ILT) and connecting to Christmas Tree (XT) by uninsulated jumper to gain heat from warmer seawater.
